whenever i save the abouve code in .htm extension and try to run it, I am able to run it sucessfully.
But whenever I run the below code by saving it as .htm extension then its not running sucessfully:

Cron job help- Need to run the Autobuddy command every night...

I have not written anything in the form of a Unix script for YEARS and YEARS. Our XServe was built in Advanced mode, currently running 10.5.4 Server. On this box, we are running Wiki and iChat. Since we built this box as an Advanced box the "Autobuddy" option was not available.
I have since enabled it at the command line, but I am told by Apple that there still needs to be a command run after every time a user logs in if you want others to Autobuddy. That command is this:
"sudo /usr/bin/jabber_autobuddy -m"
Now I think this would be pretty easy to setup as an automatic cron script, but like I said, I have not written something like this in forever. Not to mention, I am not 100% sure what needs to happen since running the script with an sudo command will prompt for the root password.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me write the script up, and give me some instructions on how to install it. I just want it run everyday, midnight is fine, I don't really care. All I know is that we have a dept of 150 people, and it grows and shrinks all the time. They can deal with a new user not being seen for 24-48 hours, I just want to get this automated.
Any helps would be GREATLY appreciated!

If you want to keep it simple try [CronniX|http://www.abstracture.de/projects-en/cronnix] a graphical tool for setting up CRON jobs on OSX. Whilst I have not actually done an autobuuddy in this way, I cannot see any reason why it will not run as a Cron Job.
The proper way ideally would be to use the launchd service.
Something like this should work:

Help needed in running the RMI application with multiple clients

Hi
I have my RMI application with one server and 6 clients. I keep all the server and client programs in the same directory. When i run the clients, the first 2 clients work properly but when the third or the fourth client starts, it works normally in getting the data and after a while it crashes. If teh third crashes the 4th works and if the 4th crashes the 3rd, 4th and 5th works ...randomly atleast one or 2 clients crash always.

I have recently started learning the Java language. I came across this example and had a problem in understanding the output of the program. I could follow that if the continue statement is present in the below program the output is "Found 9 p's in the string" . But if the continue statement is removed I could not understand why the output would be "Found 35 p's in the string" .Is it because of the spaces and characters other than p... The continue statement skips the current iteration of a for, while , or do-while loop. The unlabeled form skips to the end of the innermost loop's body and evaluates the boolean expression that controls the loop. The following program, ContinueDemo , steps through a String, counting the occurences of the letter "p". If the current character is not a p, the continue statement skips the rest of the loop and proceeds to the next character. If it is a "p", the program increments the letter count.

To see this effect more clearly, try removing the continue statement and recompiling. When you run the program again, the count will be wrong, saying that it found 35 p's instead of 9.

The answer is already in your example - "The unlabeled form skips to the end of the innermost loop's body and evaluates the boolean expression that controls the loop."
It unloads the current loop iteration when condition is matching. Loop is again starting from boolean expression inside loop declaration.

Do we need to put the following code in the web-xml for the project to run

actually I have created a project in Eclipse WTP and I am running it from remote server. Its giving me 404 error when I tried to run it.
I know 404 error is generally due to some error in deployment descriptor.
I am going through this tutorial for creating project in eclipse WTP
this says that I need to include the following code in web-xml. Please look at the quotes below
"Web modules in J2EE has a deployment descriptor where you configure the web application and its components. This deployment descriptors is called the web.xml. I am the web master for myschool. We use sharpschool and when I go into edit our web pages all is see is the html code. I would like to have the sharpschool user friendly "word" edit come up. This does not happen with IE.

html code is all I see when editing the school website. As the web master I can write code but prefer the edit friendly version as it is quicker. IE does not show the html code.

Hi Brendon. Although the form is a custom web form the actual form you view is under the Registration Buy layout of eCommerce layouts.
You need to copy the html you edit from the customise web form part of the form and paste it into that Registration Buy Layout too.

everyone here is right, dreamweaver is better and you will need to understand html for this to work. HOWEVER, you can make a functional website using just illustrator and notepad (or text edit if you're on a mac).

Save for web and select html and images, you'll get an html file and an images folder. Open the HTML file in your text editing program and it will look like this: http://s10.postimg.org/f32nf6r2h/html_stuff.jpg you'll have to know HTML codes but you can find tutorials online for most stuff, you'll just have to figure it out. In my fake site, i linked a button to google so i had to add <a href> tags to the code. http://s22.postimg.org/5avpadhch/a_href.jpg save the html file and open it in your web browser, hopefully not IE. Stream-in images from client to server,without running the transmit code

Hello all,
Im using JMF for my current project.Right now,I am trying to only recieve images from the client without the client transmitting it.That is I dont want the transmit code to run on the client.
I should just be able to stream in the images from client to server, without running the transmit code on client.
Can this be done?

You'd just need to write an application that doesn't have a GUI (so, a console-based application) that listens on some pre-determined port for a message to start broadcasting. Maybe you'd send it the IP/PORT number to start broadcasting on. Once it receives that message, it'd start broadcasting the web cam to the IP/PORT number until it received a message to stop. Once it stops, it'll just go back to waiting for the next "start" signal.

On the other side, you'd write an application that sends the start messages, receives/displays the videos, and then sends the stop signal. This will have a GUI, and be your "control program" so to speak.
Then, once of have both of those programs working...if you're using Linux, you're done. If you're using Windows, you'd need to modify the <Side A> program so that it can run as a Windows service.

Is there a way to edit the html code of the page directly on iweb?

My web server gives me the error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, everytime I try to access my site after I've updated it with the FTP server. I leanred that it was because of a bit of extraneous code in the beginning of each page that my web server just doesn't seem to like. I can go back through once it is updated and delete the code on the web server but it is a big pain to do this each time I update my website, and I would still like to be able to utilize FTP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, you cannot edit the HTML code in iWeb. The webpages are created when you choose publish.
The parse error is caused by a misconfigured server. Here's how to solve it :

If you cannot change it, ask your webhoster to do it for you. It's not a iWeb issue.
