Help needed in scheduling BENMNGLE

My company has just went live with Oracle Advanced Benefits and we have started processing life events to participants. We would like to automate the BENMNGLE processing. Since we dont have much population, its enough we run the BENMNGLE few days before our payroll runs. We are bi-weekly and we would like to run the BENMNGLE the alternate weeks of payroll run.
Is there anyway we can schedule BENMNGLE to run it in a way by overlooking payroll run dates ? or probably some dates which are available in lookups ?

with a very little custom plsql procedure (around fnd_request.submit_request) that is daily launched as a concurrent request, you can realize it.
But why not schedule BENMNGLE every day?

Urgent Help Needed in scheduling reports from BI Publisher

Hi,
I have configure the scheduler service on my windows server. Now i am trying to schedule a report from BI pubisher. But it is not working. When i click submit button, It is not doing anything. It seems it adds entry in the job schedule table. Even when i click schedules link, it shows just show progress status on explorer status bar but nothing happens.
Any help would be on this would be highly appretiated.

Have you actually checked the scheduler tab to see what the report did? BI Publisher will not just tell you if a job fails unless you have your email server configured then you tell it to email you if the job fails. Also, be patient because it can take up to 5 or 10 minutes for a report to completely run for a 40000 row dataset. If you check the scheduler tab and the job failed, check your RTF Template. I have discovered through trial and error that BIP is picky about how you do your tags, especially loop tags. These would allow you to view the report online but cause BIP scheduled reports to fail on the report. Other than that, have you installed the scheduler database and tied it in? BIP has its own database schema you have to install somewhere on an database server that it stores scheduling information in.

1941W configuration help needed

Our Deployment Scenario:-
1941W Gigabit Ethernet 0/0 is connected to the PPOE connection of the ISP.
Gigabit Ethernet 0/1 is connected to the wired LAN
I have created 2 wireless radio Cisco_Kamran_BGN which is operating at 2.4 Ghz Devices and Cisco_Kamran_A which is operating at 5Ghz Devices.
I have created 2 VLans for the Wireless.
Vlan 10 for Cisco_Kamran_A        192.168.10.x
Vlan 11 for Cisco _Kamran_BGN   192.168.11.X
The problem is the Wireless users are not getting the IP address from the respective DHCP server which has been configured on the Router.
Can please any from the community help me and show me where I am missing the configuration.

Please help me with the below scenarios for the LO mechanism:
Rec 1 entered in R3 between T1 and T2 (during R3 setup table population). When does Rec1 get into BW?
Rec 2 entered in R3 between T2 and T3 (after setup table population but before initialization loads). When does Rec 2 get into BW?

you need to lock all the user's (no user can post documents)

here just setup table is filled,however init is not performed
so still v3 jobs will be in descheduled mode ,the posting which were/are happened sits in application tables

here init is running,it will be down time for R/3 due to heavy load processing to BW
so still v3 jobs will be in descheduled mode ,the posting which were/are happened still sits in application tables

after init,now we need to schedule v3 jobs, so all the postings(which were posted earlier/which are posted for the moment) now will transfer from application tables to delta que depending on the update mode(direct/queued/un serialized)

hi, i have a problem that i have bought blackberry 8520.i want to switch my contacts from my old mobile samsung star s5230 to blackberry 8520.i have shifted my contacts from samsung to my laptop but i am unable to transfer from laptop to blackberry.i have tried to send some contacts to blackberry from laptop but blackberry doesnot show it.please let me know how can i do it.i have also downloaded blackberry desktop software but i dont know how to shift contacts from laptop to blackberry.

In short, I love it. I was going to buy the 5DMark III. After playing with it for a while at my local Fry's store where they put 5DMII, 5DMIII and 6D next to each other, using the same 24-105L lens, I decided to get the 6D and pocket the different for lens later.
I'm upgrading from the 30D. So I think you'll love it. It's a great camera. I have used 5DMII extensively before (borrowing from a close friend).
Funny thing is at first I don't really care about the GPS and Wifi much. I thought they're just marketing-gimmick. But once you have it, it is actually really fun and helpful. For example, I can place the 6D on a long "monopod", then use the app on the phone to control the camera to get some unique perspective on some scenes. It's fun and great. GPS is also nice for travel guy like me.

Help needed! Raid degraded again!

Help needed! I hava made bootable RAID with two S-ATAII 250Gb HDD and its not working! Every now and then at bootup I get a message RAID -> DEGRADED... Must be seventh time! Rebuild takes its own time!
What am I doing wrong!

2 Gb RAM
2 x 250 Gb HDD (Maxtor)
nVidia RAID (in mb)
P.S. I wery SORRY with my poor language!

I'm going to blame the nVRAID because I've seen issues with it in the past. If your motherboard has another non-nVidia RAID solution, use that instead. Using the nVidia SATA ports as BASE or JBOD is fine and dandy but RAIDing always had issues. It's not even a driver issue I think it's just instability. Latest drivers and even boxed drivers never helped. Granted, some will report success with their rig. But on a professional level I've seen nForce issues on different motherboards and different hard drives that had RAID disaster stories.
Good luck and if you don't have another RAID solution, my suggestion would be to buy a dedicated RAID controller card.

Help needed on installation of Oracle 9i EE on Sun Solaris 8. The problem I met was: we followed the installation guide from the documentation. And we selected the choice "install software only". After it was done successfully, we run Database Configuration Assistant utility to create a database instance. The case was that we have set the enviroment parameters: $ORACLE_BASE = /export/mydata, $ORACLE_HOME = /export/apps/oracle9i. That means it should be installed at /export/mydata, but it didn't. I have downloaded Oracle 11G R2 version from Windows and extracted it in Windows and copied it into DVD after extraction in two folders. Now I am mounting that DVD in Solaris 10 installed in my VMware . I made a new directory named as 'installation ' under /export/home/oracle and copied the folders from DVD to 'installation' folder. Now I am entering installation folder and try to do ./runInstaller as 'oracle ' user and getting the error mentioned before.

Help needed on installation of Oracle 9i EE on Sun Solaris 8. The problem I met was: we followed the installation guide from the documentation. And we selected the choice "install software only". After it was done successfully, we run Database Configuration Assistant utility to create a database instance. But finally it always tried to create the instance at the root directory ( / ) which doesn't have enough space and then failed. Help needed in constructing a tree

Help needed in constructing a tree. I was wondering if some one can suggest me how to add messages in the second column for both the parent node and child elements.
I was able to create a tree succefully, but want to add some description in the second column for the first column elements, for both parent and child elements.
Please suggest me how to add the arrays to second column for parent and child nodes.

The Child Text parameter is the one you are searching for. It accepts a 1D string array for the following columns.
