Help needed in step-by-step form - Please

For the past month I have been editing in 16:9. My new project needs to be in 4:3. Can someone give me a step-by-step way to get FCE4 to revert by to 4:3. I have gone to easy set-up and changed to DV and still any sequence sets up in 16:9.

OK. This is the reverse of the problem someone else was having.
Go to easy setup and change the setting to DV PAL or NTSC. I don't know which you're working in; you didn't say where you are. I'm assuming you're working in standard definition and not in HD.
Once you've changed the easy setup make a new sequence. Copy the contents of the 16:9 sequence and paste them into the new 4:3 sequence. They will look distorted. Select all the images and use Edit>Remove Attributes. Make sure you remove the distort value. If you did some animations that involve this they will most likely have to be redone.

I'm running a Mac OSX 10.4.11 Power PC G5 2.1GHZ Memory 1.5GB DDR2 SDRAM
Currently I have the following on my HD
Adobe Photoshop 5.0 (runs on Mac OS 9.0 / Classic)
PSE 2 Adobe
CS4 try out version Adobe
CS3 try out version
PSE 6 Try out version
PSE 6 Bundles version
I have purchased an Epson V500 scanner and PSE 6 is included as a software bundle.   When I insert the PSE 6 disc and double click the installation I got a notice which reads: Java script alert: Critical errors were found in setup - Incompatible payloads already installed Please see the Setup log file for details
I searched the Adobe FAQ’s and based on their suggestions I ‘uninstalled’ the ‘Adobe online trial version of PSE 6’
Subsequently the ‘Epson V500 PSE 6’ was run again. This time I received another notice “application quit unexpectedly” I filled out a report to Adobe.
Went to Adobe FAQ’s for Mac, it suggested there was some kind of conflict with the driver / TWAIN and if my machine was using OSX 10.4.4 to 10.5 I needed a download.

I have tried again and got another error message ‘the application PSE has unexpectedly quit’. I filed another crash report to Adobe.

Barbara, FWIW here's the crash report that Firefox sends into Adobe.. I don't know how to read these. If you do this may be explanatory.

Help needed removing contants from Custom Form

Folks,
Please forgive this beginners question, but how do I get the hardcoded text out of my custom form?
I would like to put it all in one place to make future GUI changes easier.
I have seen in 'User Library.xml' things like this:

    <Property name='title' value='_FM_FIRSTNAME'/>
    ....When this section of the form is displayed '_FM_FIRSTNAME' magically becomes "First Name". This is what I want to be able to do, but for the life of me I can't find where (or how) '_FM_FIRSTNAME' is defined.
I tried the following in my custom form
<defvar name='GAVIN_FN_SpecialField01'>
<s>The Text I Want to See</s>
</defvar>
<Field name='global.specialfield01'>
<Display class='Text'>
    <Property name='title' value='GAVIN_FN_SpecialField01'>
    ....But when the form is displayed the text in front of the field is "GAVIN_FN_SpecialField01" and not "The Text I Want to See".
Can someone offer any advise?

Urgent Help needed : Connecting Access 2000 with forms 6i

Dear friends,
I am really struggling to solve this connection issue. I am working with forms 6i, oracle 8i, in Windows XP pro environment. Developing programs using oracle 8i tables is ok, but there are tables in Access 2000, which I have to add the program that I am developing. The things I have done are
- I have already tables in MS Access databse.
- I Installed ODBC for microsoft and for Oracle as well(which . I added the MS Access Database there and I can perfom SQL from Oracle ODBC.
- I also installed OCA for developer from the CD.
From this point I followed the instructions in Developer Help menu and I was not able to connect and still trying, I will appreciate if anyone provide me sometips. Thanks in advance

I know the bad solution. But anyway, I'll tell you in any kind of help. I also had an AccessControlException when I started a RMI client program using JFileChooser. I rewrote policy files again and agin, but in vain. The last and ultimate method I did was remove the RMISecurityManager. This is obviously dangerous in the Internet, but if you use your application in the intranet or in some kind of safe environment. There would be no problem.

I know this is an old post to update, but I found it helpful and wanted to note that Sharmila's solution does work.
If you have problems, go to the procedure itself and follow the directions on what to pass into the procedure. I did change it to specify the variables I was passing but that is a minor change.
Also, I had to log out of SQLNav before the change took effect, which is weird, but I have had to do that when using other API's as well so it was not entirely unexpected.

If your fonts are changing when viewed on other computers - epecially those running windows - you need to look at using web-safe fonts...

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. HELP! Need final JMICRON 'step by step' for us newbies on our p965s!

After searching and reading for HOURS on this, I discovered two things. First, there are about a DOZEN different solutions many of which contradict eachother. The other annoying issue is the lack of full explaination in ANY of the threads! Here's what I'm requesting. A full step by step of how to get this board working with one SATA hard drive and one PATA DVD burner on a new computer being built. And lets not assume that just because someone is "building" a computer that they know ALL the ins and outs of flashing bios, F6 install, and other phrases that make most of us gloss over and go "huh?". Its bad enough MSI has released a board that wont work out of the box unless you happen to be one of the 2% of the population that has an SATA optical drive. REALLY BAD! 2) SATA1 enhanced mode and set to IDE
3) Flash latest bios
4) Load Jmicron drivers
5) Post
6) YEAH!
Ok, these threads are all over this forum and confuse most of us.
Here's what I'm requesting (obviously this is just an example) that really hasnt been done yet in the forum. And this is for me AND everyone else. Cuz I'm stuck too...grrrrrrrrr
1) In BIOS, Integrated Peripherals, Onchip ATA: the PCI IDE bus Master should be DISABLED.

3) .......
4) Flash the latest bios
a) Download latest bios here <link>
b) copy onto floppy
c) make floopy first boot device

5) Install JMICRON driver
a) Download latest JMICRON driver here <link>

Now this is JUST an example, the verbiage I pulled from the MULTITUDE of posts I've been reading and are now COMPLETELY confused. I dont know how to flash bios, or when people say F6 during the install, or ANY of this stuff. But I can follow directions like most people here. PLEASE HELP!

You don't say which router you use but I guess it is not a VLAN Router. The SRW is a L2 switch. It separates VLANs on ethernet level. If you want to make some sense out of that you'll need a VLAN router or L3 switch to which you trunk all those VLANs and which routers the traffic to the internet and between the VLANs. The SRW cannot do that. It separates the VLANs but it cannot join them or route traffic between them. Routing is a task of a router or L3 switch.
