Help Needed on TUXEDO LICENSE INFO.
Hi,
We bought some SDK and RTK tuxedo8.0 licenses. For RTK we have 64 USERS. SDK
has 5 developers and 5 users in the license. What does it mean ? We have installed
the SDK license and if we are running only one instance of Tuxedo and mutilple
clients( More than 5) are connecting to it using WeblogicServer7.0 through Weblogic
Tuxedo Connector will 5 users is enough. Can you please explain me in detail what
the 5 users mean.

You are correct. I think that's the mistake i made. I did not realize that the licenses as by category. Professional/CRM/Logistics etc. Can you please advice what should i do in the following situation.
The mistake i think i had was when it asked me for # of user i just typed 1 thinking i will go back and get the second one. So i requested the second one for same hardware key/install#, environment, etc. and the same type of license (Professional). It did create the license Key but did not get installed thru service manager. Is there a way to fix it ? or i will have to delete the license and reorder 2 together for my Test Environment ?
Secondly I have bought 9 Professional user Licenses. I want to use 2 for my Test environment and 6 for my production and then later move the 2 from test to production. What is the best way to do it ?

I am very new to Tuxedo and I need some guideline from you in licensing tuxedo 11g for a development system.
Our client is having an application whcih is currently running on Tuxedo 8.1 + Oracle 10g and it is as ATMI application. Currently we are having named developer licenses from BEA. They are planning to upgrade the system to Tuxedo 11g + Oracle 11g, keeping the old setup for a while. I am responsible for setting up a new developement environemnt using new versions. As BEA is aquired by Oracle I am not finding sufficient information to see how to so same kind of licensing with oracle.
Below are my question, which may look silly but I very new to this setup and really need your help.
1. Do I have to purchase licenses for developers purpose as I could see there are some options under OTN that we can use the product for development free of cost and for running in production only we have to pay.
2. Is there any way to determine how many of my developer liceses are really being used in the server. I just want to confirm that current develoer licese are getting used by full extend.
3. If I need to purchase licenses, is it possible to have named developer liceses ? Is there any dependency for number of liceses on the server and onlice services or batch jobs.

Although I'm not a licensing expert by any means, from what I read of the OTN license, you can no longer develop your application with an OTN license once the application you are developing has been started to be used. For more details on the OTN license and what it grants, see: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/licenses/standard-license-152015.html
As for other licenses, I believe in general that most Oracle software products are licensed either on the number of cores the product is running on, or on a named user basis. For production, pre-production, testing, QA, and development and disaster recovery, you will most likely need licenses.

HELP NEEDED! I have been working for 3 days in a "new doc". Of course i have saved several times (control+s)
but i do not remember it asking me about file name or folder. Today my comp crashed and i do not find the file. Just found 2 files (a tmp and one with no extension)
: one with 174 mg and another one with almost 2 gb. Is there any possibility to recover my work? Photoshop did not oppened a thing when i restarted comp
Thanks in advanceThe TMP file is your Scratch Disk file, and cannot be "recovered" to an Image file.
Your second file might be almost anything. Though designed more for video files, both G-Spot and MediaInfo (both free file info utilities), CAN read several Still Image file types, and might help point out what that file (the one with no extension) really is. OTOH, as it could be almost anything, it could be that there is no header info in the file, for either to read.

PS - Before I did much additional work, I would investigate WHY your computer shut down. If you are on a PC, I would go into Event Viewer, at the time of the shutdown, and see if you can track down any warning, or error messages, in both the System and Applications Tabs. I am pretty sure that a Mac has similar, but have not a clue where, or even what it would be called. -

It seems to me that the root of the problem is the error:
ORA-29521: referenced name javax/xml/namespace/QName could not be found
This class exists in the SYS schema though and is valid. If SYS should be included as a resolver? How to solve this problem? -

So to overcome this error I had to place the <Resource> element in DBTest.xml under C:\Tomcat 6.0\conf\Catalina\localhost {color:#000000}and then it works fine. {color}{color:#ff0000}*Why is the context.xml file in META-INF not considered by Tomcat server using Sysdeo Plugin?*

Hi, i have created this form in dreamweaver but ive got this problem.
In the fields above the text field, the client needs to fill in some info such as name, email telephone number etc.
But the problem is when ill get the messages. Only the text from the large text field is there.
What did i do wrong??

Torch is not working I need to get my info from BB Protect
My Torch just stopped working and I just got an iPhone. I need to get my info that is stored on BB Protect and download my pics, etc. into my PC or my new iPhone. How can I do this? I have a lot of work stuff in there and I am desperate!

Help needed in e-tester 8.5 its very important now.

i am using eteser 8.5......I need some clarifications on e-tester 8.5. we dont have any knowledge in earlier version i.e 8.4. While doing automation we are facing following problems pls share your info here. we were used QTP earlier but for our client request we are doing some R&D on e-tester.we are getting strucked in some areas.
we are able to achieve extensibility through following ways i.e
1) Insert Text matching test checkpoint
2) we are able add Test Scriplet to each page i.e after page/before page loading. after adding scriplet we are writing small funcions in that scriplet using "*VBSCript*" but sill we are not able to use full functionalities here like we are trying to connect to database using ADODB. but those methods are not supporting in Scriplet.
My Questions 1) Is there any alternate approch to connect to Database?
2) How can we implement External programming concept here?
3) Is there any alternative coding window other than Test Scriplet? If so Where exactly those are available in *8.4 and 8.5 versions*
4) In all Threads we came to know that 8.4 is using VBA and 8.5 does not have any such type of facility. in 8.4 where we use VBA coding pls show the navigation. Is it in Scriplet or some where else?
5) I want to Use this tool for automationg SAP application or . NET application do i need any seperate license or add-ins like QTP.
6) Is current 8.5 is feasable for full automation of a Webapplication. By using 8.5 version can we automate any of our cllent requirement.
7) how different 8.4 and 8.5 versions

I have to make a catalouge for my services as a financial planner.. earlier i used to do in MS publisher.. now i have a mac book.. can some one help me with some software info with which i can design a catalogue??
Depending on what your needs are, you may use Pages included in iWork or purchase it separately (usually there is an evaluation copy with any new mac, I guess) or try other publishing apps. I once used MS Publisher, I remember it was something like a more sophisticated word processor, right?
You may try the cheaper DTP iCalamus or Word for mac. -

You can't unless you have a bootable system on an external drive you can use. Otherwise, you need either the original disc that came with your computer or a retail copy of Snow Leopard DVD. The latter contains 10.6.3, so your model must be capable of booting from that or an earlier version of OS X.

Can I use Time Machine to recover my Aperture License Info
Out of the blue my G5 started asking for my Aperture License again. I just finished a move and don't know where I have that info/box. Can someone tell me if I can run Time Machine to recover it? AND IF SO... EXACTLY HOW? Much appreciated.
Unfortunately, it has been my experience that Time Machine does NOT backup the license info on Aperture. I say unfortunately because of other issues (now resolved; not dealing with Aperture, however).
I had to use my original installation Leopard Disk, then go through the Apple Icon Software Update (as Time Machine also does not back up Apple Operating System Updates). Then I had to initialize things such as iTunes, test my printer, and other things. To my surprise, the first time I opened Aperture after it was restored by Time Machine I too had to enter the serial number
Other Apple applications, such as iWork and iLife worked fine without the necessity to enter their original serial numbers. But Aperture would not work until I entered the serial number. I don't know why that is, but that has been my experience. And I have done the above procedure three (3) times due to other issues (now resolved).
Summary: When one reinstalls Aperture from Time Machine, it has been my experience that once reinstalled, you must have the serial number handy in order to get Aperture to function. I now placed the serial number of my Aperture on a label, and I affixed that label to the CD Jewel Case of the original Aperture install disk so that I know an easy way to find the number if I should need it again.

1941W configuration help needed
Our Deployment Scenario:-
1941W Gigabit Ethernet 0/0 is connected to the PPOE connection of the ISP.
Gigabit Ethernet 0/1 is connected to the wired LAN
I have created 2 wireless radio Cisco_Kamran_BGN which is operating at 2.4 Ghz Devices and Cisco_Kamran_A which is operating at 5Ghz Devices.
I have created 2 VLans for the Wireless.
Vlan 10 for Cisco_Kamran_A 192.168.10.x
Vlan 11 for Cisco _Kamran_BGN 192.168.11.X
The problem is the Wireless users are not getting the IP address from the respective DHCP server which has been configured on the Router.
Can please any from the community help me and show me where I am missing the configuration.
