Help needed to spec kit for a DC

Hi Guys,
I'm hoping you can help me out. I'm trying to satisfy some DC requirements for a client for a new build they are planning. They have given me the following requirements:

1)             Fixed configuration 1 Rack Unit (RU) Form factor
2)             48 IEEE 802.3x full duplex on 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T ports
3)             32 1Gbps or 10Gbps/FCoE ports
4)             Backplane capacity of a minimum of 40Gbps and a maximum of 80Gbps
5)             Internal Redundant Power Supplies
6)             Virtualisation of the data plane at layer 2

Is there a 1RU switch that fits the requirements for all the above ?. I was planning on going dwn the 4948 series route but I was not aware of one that gave 10gb ethernet access. Unless I go down the 4507R+E and use the new 12 port 10GB cards, but the requirements are asking for 32 1 or 10gb ethernet access. Also, I've never configured a switch for FCOE, as it was always only our SAN guys that did that. I know Nexxus will support 10gb, but they are not considered top of rack are they ?
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated guys.

Hi Mooey,
If you are going to need FCoE, then Nexus 5000/5500 will be likely what you'd want to go with.  When combining it with the various Nexus 2000 FEX modules I think this should satisfy most of the requirements.  The 2224T and 2248T will allow 48 100/1000 ports.  The 2232P provides 32 1/10gb ports using SFP/SFP+.
Take a look at the data sheet here to look at all the SKUs to see which would fit:

However you won't find 1 RU sku here that will provide 100/1000gb and 10gig connectivity to hosts.  You'll have to choose here and design the rack with that in mind.
Also, we do have a 4948 that does have 10gig uplinks, WS-C4948-10GE.  However it doesn't do FCoE:
