Help needed to up-convert my labview files from 5.1 to 8.6

I can't find any resource to up-covert a few of my old 5.1 vi's to labview 8.6. Can anyone convert them?

I have requirement, where in i need to delete a file from the application server. It has to be done automatically. I thought of using OS Command for achieving the same. Can anyone help me in achieving it. The OS of my application server system is UNIX.

If you define the command for each operating system using transactions SM69 (You can test it with SM49) and then call it using SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE which contains a parameter defining the operating system (SY-OPSYS)
then it does not matter which operating system is running, the function module always calls the correct version of the command.
So, for example you could define a command 'OS_COMMAND'
which deleted a file. This would have one version for Dos
which said 'del', and a second version for unix which said 'rm'.
The correct command would be specified by the call to SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE because the operating system parameter differentiates between the two commands.

HELP NEEDED - How to convert a .ram file into .aac???

Hi
I am downloading radio programmes and the files downloaded all have a .ram extension.
When double clicking on the files, iTunes opens but does not put the file in the library nor plays it.
I tried the option 'importing' and 'add to library', but no reaction from iTunes either.
Can someone out there help???

Mike is correct above. Use RealPlayer to play the .RAM files, and use AudioHijack to record them to AIFF or MP3.

If you use Reader XI you should be able to save it. You should also be able to save the form with Acrobat. However, the form name you gave is a docx file, not a PDF. So it is not clear what you are asking. If it were a PDF form as I would have expected, your questions would have made more sense.
Did you buy Acrobat? If so, are you trying to convert to docx or what. I really do not understand your question. I did find an 8 page PDF of the form (assume it is the same). If you have Acrobat, just start filling it out and save at any stage. I do not see any need to convert it to docx. There are no restrictions on the form for saving or such, so I do not see why you say you can not save your input. If you bought Reader, you got ripped off. If you bought Acrobat there should be no issues with saving. If you use Reader XI there should also be no issues with saving the PDF. So, I do not see the point of your question, sorry.

Not able to convert my application file from mxml to Action Script

In my mobile project I want to convert my application file from mxml to ActionScript.When I do this I get error and when I digged into the code I found that the error comes in preloader class initialize method as preloader property in System Manager class is null(line 2026 in SystemManager class).it actually represents the splashScreen class.When I tried to set the splash Screen the document says we cannot set this property from action script.
I know we have an option of action script mobile project but it doesnt recognise TabbedViewNavigatorApplication.
So how can I overcome the problem.

It identifies the folder and files; but it is giving me parsing error on trying to convert files. I'm running Windows Vista Home Edition SP1. Kindly advise. Thank you.

I probably missed this detail in what you’ve posted, but do you see the thumbnails of the three cameras’ raw files in Finder if you don’t convert to DNG?
What has happened in the past is that the Apple raw interpreter doesn’t read thumbnails of DNGs it doesn’t like, where at least one thing it didn’t used to like was embedded lens corrections for mirrorless cameras. Are the Olympus and Panasonic mirrorless—meaning there is no optical viewfinder and everything is seen on an LCD screen or perhaps an electronic view finder? If so the reason these are different is that the camera is doing the lens distortion corrections automatically and this information is stored in the raw files and in the DNGs but Apple doesn’t know how to use these embedded lens corrections or doesn’t know how to read the newer DNG spec that does allow for this information to be embedded in the DNG, at least.
Apple could just extract the embedded jpg preview and ignore the other parts of the file it doesn’t understand, but it apparently doesn’t do this.
What I’m not sure about is if the Apple raw interpreter still has this problem or if you’re on an older system without the latest updates for camera raw decoding by Apple.

BTW I tried using doferent setings in compressor from CBR and VBR I even pushed up the setings to 8 or 9 BR and still no luck !

Let's focus attention on just the Sony. (What model and what resolution are you shooting?)
For now, I'll assume you're shooting 1080i.
Take a representaive clip into a new sequence. Add a title.
In your sequence, make sure field dominance is set to Upper.
Set render settings to Pro Res 422.
After rendering, export QT self contained.
Import into Compressor (I'm now referring to v3.5).
Select the 90 minute Best quality DVD preset.
Open frame controls and turn on (click the gear icon). Set Resize filter to Best.
Submit burn and check quality on TV.

I can't answer for Internet Explorer but you should be able to export Bookmarks from FireFox. If you can't export from IE you may be able to import from EI to FireFox first.
In FireFox, menu BookMarks>Organize Bookmarks, then in the pane which opens, menu File>Export (that's how it works on Linux so Windows should be broadly similar). The result should be an html file.
You may be able to import this into Safari on your Mac; certainly you should be able to import it into FireFox and perhaps from there to Safari if necessary.

Well by opening up the HWS file with HDFView, it contains the below structure. In the axis0 properties (time axis) there is a field called increment that is the sampling rate I used (5 nanoseconds). But I do NOT see any additional info in terms of triggering modes or delays, etc.

i owned a N900 (now sold out)
before selling i took backup of contacts from backup restore option in application section
now i bought a N8 but i m not able to restore my contacts
1. is there any way to restore them in N8?
2. if not, can i convert them in TEXT or any readable format

The backup procedures built into the phone are only designed for restoring to the same phone (ie: in case or data corruption, software update or repair etc.), they can't usually be used to restore to a phone with a different operating system.
You should have backed up with Ovi Suite before selling the N900, that would have been able to restore to the N8.

Motion assistant: Cannot convert to LabView file

Hello,
I would like to ask for help on problem: the file generation from Motion assistant to Labview
Background:
1. Use Motion assistant to generate 2 or 3 steps of motion.
2. Save it.
3. Inside Motion assistant, Use Tools>>Generate Code>>LabView Diagram.
Result:
After I doing this, the LabView file is generated. But, it is a file containing a few control switch (without any other key components to produce the motion control function).
Thus, what is the problem behind?

I had tried what you said.
1.
Treat read-only VI as locked : uncheck
Enable window explorer for LLB file : check
Note: basically, I have reset the machine after set the options
2.
Uninstall Ni-motion -> no-reboot -> install again
After I have do this steps individually, Nothing has corrected.
What is the problem then?

and then i try to tokenize the buffer and get the urls one after one
but the output result is not good.

StringTokenizer does not what you expect it to do. It will always just use single-character token-seperators. When you pass the String "<DT>" to it's constructor '<', 'D', 'T' and '>' will all work as token seperators, which is most likely not what you want it to do. Consider using Regular Expressions or good old indexOf() .
