Help needed with ColorEyes Pro and 27" iMac display calibration

I am trying out a demo of ColorEyes Pro and using it with my Spyder2 puck, but there are a few things I just don't know and/or understand as they don't even ask them when using the Spyder software.
White Point Target - no idea what this should be
Gamma Target - 2.2 I am guessing, but not sure
Black Point Target - no idea on this either
Also, what should by "brightness" be set too? Or is that a personal thing?

  • Help Needed with wlst distributeApplication and deploy weblogic 10x

    Looking for help on missing steps...
    Trying to distribute an application .war from one host (adminServer host) to all cluster members.
    I first distribute the app which appears to work:
    PackagePath = '/opt/wls/domain1/deploy/app1.war
    clusterName= 'SomeCluster'
    myapp = 'app1'
    distributeApplication(PackagePath, targets=clusterName)
    I then execute a deploy cmd, pointing to where the distributed application should be on each host:
    deploy(myapp, PackagePath, targets=clusterName)
    At this point everything completes without error, but on the admin Server console I see two deploys now for app1:
    1. app1 is deployed and active
    2. app1.war is deployed in Prepared state with the status as distribute Defferred.
    Im guessing #2 is there from the distributeApplication call... how do I deploy the app after executing the distributeApplication call?

  • Help needed with Boot times and performanc​e.

    Hi everyone, after two weeks of getting nowhere i gave up and here i am. I have an S10-3 which i am struggling with. As the post title indicates perfomance is (how can i put it) slow. We are talking 15/20 minutes to boot and when i finaly get to Windows its pretty much unusable. Ended up corrupting the recovery partition with my (lets say limited experiance) and have so far proceede to try and install Win XP/Vista/7 with all the same problems unable to install/slow/slow. I think what i am looking for is some pointers on wiping the HDD clean (completely) and some info on how to get a running install of pretty much any Windows that perfoms in a manner that allows me to acctually do something productive. On a plus point i did install an extra Gig of RAM allthough this made very little difference. Thanks in advance for any help offered as i am completley stummped.

  • Help needed with I tunes and I pod synicing

    Okay so I have a 30 GB video I pod and I have been using hand brake to convert my dvd's to MP4 to place I my I pod. I have went through and put them in by going into I tunes and pushing import. But then a sign comes up saying
    "Attempting to copy to the disk "I Pod" failed The disk could not be read from of written to"
    This same promble has also happed to any new music I try to place I my I Pod but all these files are in I tunes.
    If anyone could spread so light on this promble it would be great need and greatly thanked for those who can help.

    It sounds like your iPod may be having some difficulties that may require a reset to factory settings and/or reformat.

  • Help needed with windows 7 and old deskjet 870Cse not printing

    System:
    Windows 7 and Deskjet 870Cse.
    Because my new laptop does not have the traditional old printer cable port, it only has USB ports, I purchased a USB Parallel printer cable.  Hooked it up and system recognized it as a Unspecified Device (IEEE-1284 Controller).  It does not recognize it as a printer.
    Because it is not recognized I can not print anything.
    Any ideas/help on how to get the drivers installed or to have it recognize the printer would be appreciated.
    UPDATE:
    I was able to get the driver and add a new printer and now can select to print to it.   However, the head moves and everything but when the page come out there is nothing on the page.
    Any ideas?  I know there used to be a program to clean the heads but I don't have that now on this computer or don't know where to find it.  Any thoughts?

    Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here (to ensure there are no problems with the drivers etc installed):

  • Help needed with storing locH and locV locations in a List

    I am trying to store locH and locV locations in a list in the
    form of (locV, locH) so that when i call upon this poistion later
    it prints out as say (100, 200).
    However lingo is not liking this very much.
    Here is the i have so far
    vhList = [] -- this runs on the startmove event and is a
    movie script
    -- the following is a script which is attatched to my sprite
    v = sprite(me.spritenum).locV -20
    h = sprite(me.spritenum).locH
    vhList.append((v), (h))
    I keep getting errors. I know i could use the Loc command and
    store it into the list but i need the v and h variables to create a
    loc style coordination as well as have them as their own entities
    for locV and locH
    If anyone knows how i could solve this it would be very
    appreciated

    I assume you’ve already got vhlist defined as a global,
    but if not here’s your startmovie script:

    then on your sprite you’ve got several choices:
    on

    h = sprite(me.spritenum).locH
    myCoord = [v,h]

    this will build a list of the form
    vhList=[[v1,h1],[v2,h2],[v3,h3]…]
    or you can use this:

    end
    this will build a list of the form

    note that the point data type is (horizontal, vertical) not

    while it's executing to ensure data integrity? Does weblogic offer any kind of
    automatic status replication between entity ejbs in a cluster? I couldn't find
    any useful info about that.

    Typically we'd recommend using the optimistic concurrency option.

  • Help needed with multiple computers and Apple TV

    We've just purchased a new Apple TV in our household. We have 2 Mac books.
    Does anyone know if it is possible to sync two individual iTunes libraries to the apple TV. We've got one on but the other just seems to want to 'stream' the other iTunes library only.

  • I need to reinstall my computer, how do I deal with Premiere pro and After effects?

    Hello,
    As my question states I need to reinstall my computer (laptop) and I'm not quite sure on how to deal with Premiere pro and After effects.
    I am thinking that I need to do some sort of backup and save my projects and footage on a sepparate drive.
    If I reinstall my computer, install my creative suit production premium, and move back all of my projects and footage, won't I have to re-link every single clip?
    I am currently workning on several different projects and having to re-link everything is something I don't even want to think about, that would take me days if not weeks.
    Another option on my mind would be to use Creative cloud. I do have the free version but I have never used it even once before and I'm not quite sure what the purpose of the cloud is and if this is a way to use it.
    I have no idea how to go about this computer reinstalation without either loosing tons of work or having to re-link every single clip used.
    I am videoediting only as a hobby so I have no experience working with other people and sharing projects or the like, wich is my understanding of what the cloud is for.
    Any and all help would be grealty appreciated, I know this is probably really easy but ever since i got my Suit I haven't reinstalled, upgraded och changed my computer so I am just clueless as to how to go about this.
    I have Creative suit production premium, I also have the free Creative cloud.
    It is only Premiere pro and After effects that I am using and am worried about.

    If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
    If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

    How Many devices can I sync with my iPhone?  I own a Mac PRO and an iMAC.  Depends on where I am, I will plug my iPhone to either of the machines. I haven't sync with either machine yet.

    CC is for retail use with 20 GB of storage space, CCT is where number of seats are purchased & assigned by one program admin where each seat gets 100GB of storage space.
    You can not have both the CC & team in one account as it will only provide you added storage space of 120 GB but you can activate the CC any of them or either of them twice as CC is based on Adobe ID.

    I open Safari, and it works. I open Firefox, and it works and Safari still works. I open Calendar and it works, Safari and Firefox continue to work. I open Reminders, and everything still works.
    I open Aperture, and it opens Finder instead, showing the 3.5 update that was installed two days ago (and Aperture has functioned), but doesn't seem to update the app; after about 20 seconds the update disappears and I can now open Aperture and it shows I'm now opening the updated Aperture, which it didn't show before.
    I click on Mail, and the cursor spins for ten minutes. The mail window finally opens, but the cursor spins and does not connect to upload new mail, and I finally Force Quit Mail. Since the Maverick update, even though Mail was not updated (and maybe because Mail was not updated), I have been able to receive emails twice, and then the program crashed.
    Besides the Aperture app, Pages didn't fully update on the iMac, and I had to remove the old Pages icon from the dock after the new program loaded up from Applications.
    Any ideas?

  • Another device on the network is using your computer IP address.. Every time my macbook pro and my Imac are on line at the same time i get this message any help..??

    I have tried to turn off my modem and after that i turned on each machine individually it worked for a while giving my macbook pro and my Imac different IP address.. but the problem came back again and im here with 2 similar IP addresses on each machine and once that happen i lose the internet on both of them.. and I get an exclamation mark on my Airoport symbol.
    how can i change my IP address and where can i get a new 1.. should i just make it up..??
