Help needed - XML forms not displaying in my repository

Hi all
I could really do with some help here. I have a custom XML form for news articles. It works fine in the standard documents repository, but I have my iView pointing to a folder in my own CM repository.
When a user tries to directly access the "show" form, instead of the form it displays the XML code. Any ideas why this is?
My CM repository is running the following services:
layout, properties, svc_acl, tbp

I have the same problem. When I'm trying to create an XML file using XML form in the repository /etc, I get the following error:
XML - Forms
Cannot create item e0977870-cf29-2d10-bb89-d00b5761268c.xml in collection /etc/public/; operation is not supported.
When I do the same in repository /documents, it works fine.
I think, I've made the neccesary settings for the repository (Form Based Publishing, ...).
Any clues will be highly appreciated.

I am currently running NW04 SPS14 Portal with KM & Collaboration.
However, the icons in the Content Management>> Explorer>> Documents repository are not displaying. Instead a little while box, with a red x sign appears in place of the images.
When I launch the XML Forms builder, the application doesnt load.
Also, the content developed using XML forms are no longer displaying, instead I get an error message "Resource cannot be displayed with XML Resource Renderer"
I will appreciate any suggestion that will help to resolve this problem.

What is the exact model of the AirPort Express that you are trying to install? Which version of the AirPort Utility are you using? What is the operating system and version, and on what device, are you running the AirPort Utility on?

OIM 11g installation: oim-config.xml was not found in MDS Repository

I just installed Oracle Identity Manager 11g (the latest version) on out test system. The installation worked fine. I can start the admin server as well as the soa_server. But when I start the oim_server1, the deployment of oim fails with the following error message:

This also solved my issue. If you can backup the .xldatabasekey file before you reinstall this will allow the OIM application to read the OIM database. I was successfully able to run rm -Rf and wipe my entire Middleware directory. Then I reinstalled ALL of OIM and SOA back to the same VM. I saved the .xldatabasekey file before hand and dropped it right back to the same folder before I ran the rm -Rf command later after the OIM Domain was installed. Finally, as mentioned above, I logged into EM and found that I needed to add the .xldatabasekey "password" and simply used the same password that I entered during the OIM configure steps for the keystore. Remember the .xldatabasekey password IS NOT the xelsysadm password, but the KEYSTORE password. They are different. I am now able to log into OIM and I can see all the pre-existing users. I'm trying to install Oracle Fusion Application (last version .5) but I can't go ahead becuase I got an error during the OIM Server installation.
$ uname -a

$ cd /repository/fusion/fmw/iam/bin/
$ ./config.sh &
Select only “OIM Server” [...] everything is going fine without error. I've re-started the AdminServer and started the OIM.
If I try to open the browser http://<server>:14000 I got an Error 404
Take a look at the log, there is an Error on oim-config.xml
I was trying to find something on Google but all the forum talked about the missing security files.
I tried to install again OIM but nothing happened.
Someone could help me please?

[…]Maybe it’s the same root causes but I installed again the OIM without success. I can’t login to the OIM because I just back 404.

HTML Form Not Displaying Correctly in Outlook 2010 (Exchange 2013)

I have recently migrated to Exchange 2013. Clients are still using Outlook 2010. There is an application that automatically sends an HTML form by email for the users to fill in. The form consists of radio buttons, text areas and drop down list. However,
in Outlook 2010, the form is not rendered properly.
When I clicked the "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in a web browser" link, the email is opened in
IE and the form is displayed correctly.
I also tried opening the same email in other clients, such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail Client and in mobile phones - the form is displayed correctly. I wonder
why it fails to do so in Outlook 2010. The user mentioned that this does not happen in Outlook 2003 and prior to migration (I used Exchange 2010 previously). I have also tried using OWA, but the form does not display correctly
Any help?

Outlook 2007 or newer use Microsoft Word for their HTML engine.
You can refer this page http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ shows
many things that do not work in different clients.I think Someone needs to re-code
the HTML form to make it work in the current versions of Outlook. You can try formatting with text and HTML and see the results.

Flash forms -- Not displaying in IE

This is my first foray into flash forms, and I discovered
yesterday that while they look/work beautifully in Firefox
(2.0.0.4), they're not displaying at all in IE (6 or 7).
I'm using it to force the user to input their date in a
uniform format, so I'm sure there's a non-flash workaround. I'd
like to get this sorted out though, so my future work with flash
can be more involved.
Code is attached. Please let me know if I can provide further
clarification.

I think I've narrowed the problem down -- it's not that it
won't display my flash form in IE, it's that it won't display it in
a Fusebox environment. I'm going to poke over at their site to see
what they have to say -- I suspect I'll need to upgrade the version
of Fusebox that I'm using. :)

Can you attach some [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenshot screenshots] for comparison to show what you mean?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

XML attribute not displayed by stylesheet

I set up a very simple case where some of the input data is in attributes. It works fine for the element content--firstname, however it does not display the attribute requested. What can be wrong? Please help!

Xml forms not rendered in default layout set - urgent

Hi guys,
I've to display several properties and to provide the rating and feedback service in conjunction with xml forms because a "NewsRenderer" doesn't support the display of additional properties.
So I tried to use one of the default layout sets (e.g. "Consumer Explorer") but the xml forms are not rendered after selecting the "contentLink" (displays raw content of xml document). I'm looking quite a long for a command that opens and renders the xml forms in a new window - without any success...

Xml forn not displaying

hi all,
I have created xml form in one server and import that xml form in another server. the xml form is coming in the etc folder(/etc/xmlforms). but I am not able to create new form. ie. (New/Forms/) . the xml form is not displaying. ( i dont want to generate xml form . when i generate the xml form it is displaying in the New/Forms section ) how to display the xml form in the New/Forms section without generating it.

Open XML Forms not using KM

Hi experts,
I have the following request:
Place a link in the Portal that displays a custom XML Form document to fill in.
By now I have always filled in new XML Forms documents by accessing KM and selecting 'New > Form > <custom form>'.
Now I need to access a XML Form by clicking a link in Portal (without accessing KM). Is there any special iView already created for this? Is this possible in any other way?

You can create a KMnavigation iView and change the following propertie s
Layout set = NewsExplorer
folder =News
and create iView.
Assign this Iview to the role and role to a user.So when user clieks on role he can create news .

Adobe Reader Forms not displaying .................URGENT

We system copy from Windows system to Solaris System , Adobe Interactive forms are not displaying in Solaris , where as in windows they are working fine ......Any settings or configuration settings needed?????????

Try checking your Credentials for ADS. Seems that either your credential file is invalid or not installed properly.

Rich text box used in Infopath Form not displaying option to get images from Computer

Hello,
We have used "Rich text box" in Infopath Form which is not displaying option to get images from Computer.
Options available are : From Address, From SharePoint
But if we Rich text box in list, then it works fine with "From Computer" option.
can you please help me out to get this option.

From your description, there is no “From Computer” option to get images with rich text box in InfoPath form.
Per my knowledge, by design there are “From Address” and “From SharePoint” options without “From Computer” option in rich text box in InfoPath form. As a workaround, you can develop a custom InfoPath Rich Text box to do it.
About developing a custom InfoPath control, I suggest you create a new thread on the forum “Visual Studio Tools for Office”, more experts will assist you with InfoPath development.
