Help!! New Itouch Problems
Just bought a new Itouch today. I got it all setup and then went to purchase a few songs. A window popped up asking me to answer some security questions which I don't even remember filling out. I tried anyways and failed and now I am locked out, and can't make any purchases or downloads with my apple id, do i just have to get a new id? or what?
Fixed. Jumper pin configuration was set incorrectly. Placed in "Master" mode and problem disappeared.

HELP new mpb problems, i want to replace.
So yeah i sold my last macbook to get the new one, big mistake i feel its going to be like last time, took me 8 laptops to get one that worked perfectly, the one i have now has a whine in the right fan, problem is i could only hear it at night or in dead quiet. Also the Keys "C" "D" get stuck if pushed towards the bottom instead fo straight down, the isight turns green occasionally and so on.
I want a laptop up to my standards, im a returning customer i like apple products but their quality control ***** at times. HELP i need advice, if i go to the store they might not consider the sound noise and keyboard problem as major problem to consider an replacement, i find that it ***** to have a one day old laptop up for repair, and to be honest it never feels the same.
Im decieved/saddended i dont know what to do anymore, i dont knwo it theyre going to replace it, and i dont even know if theyre going to repair the fan, i use it in dead quiet alot and when the screen is pointed at me it acts like a satellite dish amplifying the fan noise, its so frustrating i cant get a machine that has no problems, that works flawlessly.
Should i call Customer Relations maybe we can work something out?i agree the stars arent in my favor i must be the unluckist guy on earth but mean come on it wouldnt hurt anyone to check if everythign is worling before the laptop is shipped out correct?, i mean ive had cases where the colors were messed up (gpu screwed) ive had a case where the latches would not go up, warped keyboards, whining fans, like wow seriously, and its just sad thought im going to have to be forceful... i though with professionalism there would be no questions asked. i mean ti dont wanna be a big a-hole and get a refund just to get the same laptop again. i just want something that works well is it too much to ask?

I had to get a new ITouch and now my app Temp Magic won't work. It allows me to select the temp and music I want but when I hit play it kicks me out. Can someone please help me resolve this? Thanks!

Will I need to get a mac external hard drive if I wish to continue to save my documents like this?
If you no longer use a PC you could format this drive for the Mac. However be aware that formatting a drive will erase all the data on it. So you would need someplace to copy the data off this drive to while you did the re-format and then you could copy the data back.
You could get another drive, format it for the Mac and copy the data to it. Then re-format the original drive and use it as a backup drive. Always good to have backups.
Post back with the drive type and size of the current drive, if you are doing backups now and how and if you still need to access this drive from a PC.

new itouch user here, We had a wireless connection with a password all set up but we couldn't remember the password meanwhile there are other connections around us but locked. So i decided to make a new one yet it still will not allow to go on safari after i type in the password PLEASE HELP ive turned on and off etc
My guess is that the security settings on your router and iPod do not match.
For a test, change your router so there is no security. See if you can connect and get to the Internet. If that works, set up the router with security and use the same settings for the iPod. -
was just loading indesign and cannot start it. seem to have no rights for some presets. i deinstalled and installed new, same problem. who can help?

What OS? "Rights" sounds like Windows
What is happening when starting it?
If Windows, where was it installed?
If Windows, do you have admin permissions? -
My itunes radio rebuffers every 8 seconds - is there any fix or help for this problem. I am running the latest itunes on a new Mac with 4MB download speed.

new itouch won't connect to wi-fi, has wi-fi sign on top, but is not really connected, called apple support they told me to take it back and get new one, but same problem please help
Test it on another network--like at McDonals. If it works there, you got an issue on your home network--like a router setting.

If it says 'Open' in the App Store, then it's on your device. What happens when you press the 'Open' button in the App Store?
The App is on your phone, somewhere. Use Spotlight to find it, or you can reset your Home Screen layout, and then you'll definitely find it. -
New itouch/new apple ID/old icloud - help!
I have a mess on my hands! I originally set my son's itouch up with my secondary email account as his apple ID until he got his own email address (long story). I didn't realize at the time I needed to also switch his icloud account. He broke the screen on his itouch so we got the itouch replaced but they weren't able to move any of his stuff over because the icloud won't sync to the new device. It keeps telling me the password is incorrect. When I try to reset the password on icloud it says it emails me to reset it and I never receive the email (yes I have checked the SPAM folder). How do I access the icloud, get it set up and synced to the new itouch and then change the icloud to match his new apple ID? (I no longer have the broken itouch, but they were able to put his pictures on a flash drive.) Told you ...a mess!

Hi all. I just got a new itouch for my birthday yesterday. My itunes won't recognize it and I have tried so many things. I have an old macbook but my itunes is updated/ When I go to File > Devices > all the options are blanked out. What can I do to fix this?
What version of iTunes are you running? Do you have a different USB cable to try?

i downloaded an album on itunes using my new itouch; but it's only allowing me to put three songs at any one time into the music app...how can i get it to just move them all in there?

I don't think that's quite the issue though. I bought an album and it appears in 'my purchases' within the itunes app. Yet, in order to listen to the music, i must use the 'music' app and in this application, there are only three tracks displayed at any one time from my downloaded album.
I can 'download all' from the 'my purchases' section but that still doesn't help, it just keeps the last three tracks downloaded in the music app.
I have the 'icloud' enabled and wondered if it had anything to do with that.
i have successfully downloaded another full album totally into the music app, but this first album is causing me problems. -
My new itouch doesnt play video.
I just got a new itouch and it does not want to play video. i can download it from itunes with minimal difficulty, but the issues come when i try to watch them. the video starts, but then parts of the screen turn green and the rest of the screen looks like the frames are sticking together. i can see it moving, but just barely. The audio works fine and so do videos that i download from itunes u. Please help me.
Assuming the videos play fine in iTunes on the computer, Tty the standard fixes to rule out a software problem.
Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod
If you still hve the problem then it appeas that yu have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. If defective, you will walk out with a replacment. -
Brand new Itouch has just stopped working.....no response...battery seemed to be fully charged and then my daughter hit the button to shut the screen off..now no response whatsoever.....???
Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't help, try a Restore. From iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad.
