Help! No Sou

I'm very very confused/pi**ed off at the moment. For some reason, my European Creative Zen Touch is not making any sound. I turned it on, selected the song and put the headphones in and great, nothing! Not a thing. I have tried different songs, reset the player - everything apart from re-installing the firmware, which I'll have to do when I get home as I accidentally chose to delete the existing firmware (stupid slidy bar thing!). Anyway, just wandering if anyone can tell me what the hell is going on and why I spent so much money on something that doesn't work. The only possible thing I can think of apart from something being seriously wrong with it, is that the headphone jack is broken, which I suppose is still pretty serious.

Well, it worked when you bought it, so the logic there is pointless to say the least.
Go to the store you purchased it from, and exchange it. Exchange it for something different. The Zen Micro is ridden of faults and different problems can arise 'causing it to be rendered a completely obsolete machine. I, myself, am on my third Zen Micro. And if this one does not work out, I am getting a Zen MicroPhoto.

Need HELP with hooking up my X-Fi & my Minidisc. No sou

Hello. I am getting seriously frustrated with this. The reason I just shelled out $200+ for my new X-Fi Platinum Soundcard is so I could transfer what I have on these minidisc's to my PC. I've hooked it up exactly as the diagram shows. What do I get? Nothing. No sound at all, no way to record. I've spent over six hours scouring the knowledge base and these boards for an answer to no avail. The soundcard has worked so far with everything else for me.. plays mp3's and regular PC sounds...haven't tried to play any CD's or DVD's yet.

I have hooked up my minidisc player: I have a 3.50 mm (/8-inch) optical miniplug-to-optical SPDIF cable which I have connected to the Optical SPDIF In jack on my X-Fi I/O Dri've. I tried recording and got nothing. I switched it to the Optical SPDIF Out jack and played the minidisk and got no sound that way either! What am I doing wrong?

Heck, on an old computer I had about 7 years ago I had a Soundblaster Li've Platinum and that's how I initially got what I have on the minidisc's! I cannot remember for the life of me how I hooked it up. I feel like I'm jumping through hoops trying to figure this all out now!

There are ZERO instructions besides the section on how to hook it up. I need help! I'm begging here...how do I get this to work?

I really must be some kind of stupid. I went to my mixer and changed the microphone to spdif in. There are several mute buttons in the mixer, but I am certain you mean the mute button located in the same column. I muted that then tried recording but it recorded air only once again. Also, I am not even able to hear what is playing on my minidisc player without headphones. Is this normal?
Heck, if I could just get it to play through my speakers even I could use "What You Hear" to record it.
Anyway, I got an error message that reads, "Unknown or invalid SPDIF signal. Please check that you have connected your S/PDIF gear correctly and playback has started." What gives?

I've downloaded the driver for the Ensoniq AudioPCI CT480. It's taken me a lot of time to get this far and now I still have no sound. Can anyone help me?
I've just checked through the messages and found something Jeremy suggested another member download, which I did. I have 98SE. Now I get an error message saying Crystal Hardware not detected. Can not run audio station.

If you have Find my iPad set up under the iCloud settings, log onto https://www.icloud.com with your apple id. Then click Find my iPhone (Works for iPad too). If you set this up there will be a devices tab at the top, find your device. Then you probably want to click the lock button. If the device is connected to the internet you should see a curent location on the map. Check the box "Notify me when found" to be notifed as soon as the device connects to the internet. Good luck!

every time i put a cd in my computer and click get info it says failed to receive information from music provider so im having to manually type all my albums is there something wrong or am i not doing something right.

It means that for some reason MediaSource cannot connect to Gracenote to get the CD data. Have you granted MediaSource permission to contact the Internet, assuming you're using a firewall?

Urgent Help needed in loggin to Workflow designer

I have a written a program from which a workflow get triggered automatically. The programs runs file in my machine. When i deploy it in my server machine it doesn't work. The server machine has a sandbox installed. But my machine doesn't have a sandbox. I have installed all tools separately in my machine.

I am seriously bugged by this error. I am giving the correct user name and password but still the error comes. I dont know how to solve this. This might be some small settings change. But i am not sure. Also when i try to connect the workflow designer through Eclispe in that server machine, even there the login failure message still comes.
Can anyone please advise on this as it is very urgent.

Since you're getting this with Workflow Designer as well as your code, it doesn't look like it's anything with your code.
It looks very much to me like you're specifying an invalid username and/or password.
- Can you log into fm or adminui using the same username and password?
- Can you log in to either Workflow Designer or your custom application using a different username and password?
- Does your username or password contain non-USAscii characters?
One thing I have seen is where there is a user in LDAP whose login name is "administrator". This can conflict with the LiveCycle local "administrator" account, and prevent you from logging in.

Need help in customising OOTB Report

Hi,
In OIM-->reports-->Operational reports-->OIM password expiration report, the input values are user id, firstname, lastname and date range.
Can we customize this report so that it takes only date range as input? I want to remove other input values from the screen like user id , firstname ,lastname. User will give only the date range and click on submit button, the result will be shown in the same manner as it will show with user id, firtsname, lastname. It this possible?

HELP DESPERATE CMSS 3d / EAX

HELP> DESPERATE CMSS 3d / EAX? ok the other day i had done somethign to my settings in control panel and when i went ingame (counter-strike .6) it felt like i was actually there i Could hear Everything Everyware and i could pinpoint everything. It kinda felt like i had tincans on my ears. It had a sort of Echo effect like i was in a dome or a cave it was awesome. but i had problems with the drivers and had to reinstall them because Sound kept cutting out here and there. And now i am trying to get taht same effect again and i've tried everything. CMSS is enabled on my headphones and i select EAX support on cs i have EAX effects checked in CP and crystalizer on and still no " I FEEL THERE" effect and i kinda just feels liek flat sound liek when someones shooting from acroosss the map its eitehr infront of me on the side or right next to me and i cant pinpoint anything the sound is basicly FLAT.(either left or right? or center and i have to turn ingame to pinpoint were its coming from). I guess Counter Strike is not EAX so CMSS 3D may be the best option.
Have you tried going to CMSS 3D and selecting (or deselecting) "Macro FX" and "Elevation Filter"?

i m using database access table connector with OIM
the connector is created
i have created a table (without a column for password) in database (oracle 10g)
i did create a lookup definition for account status (only created it,not used it anywhere)

Yes, but looking at your log, make sure you define it in the logger in capital letters (DBADAPTERLOGGER). I've had issues in the past where i defined the log level as noted in the documentation, and it only outputted the errors because it was outputting in all caps.
The documentation for the connector defines how you should enter your log levels in JBOSS.

Anybody ran into this problem? Just installed Sql Server 2k SP3 and all my jdbc calls fail. JDBC driver for Microsoft works find.

Have you find a solution to your problem. I ran into the same problem. One of my
client still use WLS 5.1 and has the problem as soon SP3 applied to MSSQL 2000/DBMS.
I create a new accounnt in DBMS and it's not working. I tried several different

Show us the failure info (the whole stacktrace). Are you saying that
the weblogic jdbc driver

Need help resizeing a flash carousel

That one's from a book. I used that code to start with my applet. Mine calls different merthod from the switch cases. Say I have:

.after giving serial num i have to change points in table1 to 0.The problem for SUm and split for every 143 is ,different OU and store is there.we have to know for which store points we earned serial number.

help my safari doesn't open and gives me a crash report ever since i downloaded a file from the internet. I have a macbook air (early 2014) with running os x yosemite version 10.10.1

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Apple Mini DVI to Video Adapter is not working. Please Help...

I bought an Apple Mini DVI to Video Adapter to connect my Macbook to a TV using normal video cable. When I connect the cable, my Laptop DIsplay gives a flickr once and then it shows nothing. I checked Display in the system preference where I don't get a secondary monitor option. My TV is panasonic and it's an old one. I work on Final Cut Pro and it's very very important to see my videos on a TV. What am I doing wrong with the connection? Anyone Please Please help...

Your probably not doing anything wrong. There are thousands of users with Similar issues and it seems to be with many different adapters.
We have Mini DP to VGA (3 different brands) and they all fail most of the time. This seems more prevalent with LCD Projectors. I've tested some (50+) with VGA Monitor (HP) and they all worked, LCD Projector (Epson, Hitachi, and Sanyo) and they all fail, DLP Projector (Sanyo) and one worked.
My Apple Mini DP to DVi works most of the time. My Mini DP to HDMI (Generic non Apple) works every time.
The general consensus is that Apple broke something in the OS around 10.6.4 or 10.6.5 and its not yet fixed. As we are a school we have logged a case with the EDU Support group so will see what happens.

ive got a 20" intel imac. i bought a mini dvi to video adapter.it said it works with the intel macs.
i maybe being a bit thick here but the end of the dvi seems to be a different size to the port on the mac.
please help....................
