Help - Nokia C200 - USB Cable Issue

Hello! Friends...
First I Thank to ajaydavidson   for my previous probem..
& Now I find some difficult when I am connection with my USB Cable to My Nokia C200.
I ll post the Screen Shot, Then it bit clear to solve this... Click here!
Error: Hi-Speed USB Device Attached to non Hi-Speed Hub
Please tell the right solution to me!....

The cause is your computers USB ports.
The solution is to buy a new USB adaptor for your computer. It's likely happening because your computer is old or is using an older USB adaptor. The phone is capable of using newer, faster USB adaptors.
It should still work but with slower data transfer rates. If you are happy with your data transfer speed between phone and computer then all you need to do is ignore the message it gives you.

  • Need Help for connectivity USB Cable Nokia 5800 ca...

    Hi All,
I really need help to solve my problems. I just bought nokia 5800 XM last week. I already installed the CD software in my windows XP, but it seems that PC cannot recognize the USB cables. I have plug in an unplugged... At firstime it detects my nokia 5800 XM, but when I open PC suite or OVI, it doesn't connect the USB cables into PC. I already install and uninstall The OVI suite but it is still the same, when I try it in OVI suite to detect my phones, it doesn't react.... I also have download from Nokia website to install manually Nokia USB cable driver for my  cable type CA-101... it seems nothing works here... tell me what should I do? I don't think that the USB cable I bought is fake, it has original guarantee..... please desperately need help! Anybody?

When you plug the phone into the computer, ON THE PHONE it should ask you which mode to connect in, and you should select "PC Suite" mode.  Does this happen?

  • Nokia 6700 USB cable connectivity problem -fixed-

Ok, got my 6700 today. Everything worked like a charm, until I tried to connect it to my PC using the supplied USB cable. I downloaded and installed the latest Nokia PC suite which supports this phone (7.1.30.9) and connected the phone. Vista was unable to install a driver, and the phone was listed in the device manager as 'unknown usb device'. The phone display reported 'no response from host' after plugging in the usb cable.
I searched online for a solution, and tried the following:
    - repaired the install of the Nokia connectivity cable driver: no success.
    - deinstalled the nokia pc suite, ran the pc suite cleaner, rebooted and reinstalled the pc suite: no success.
    - threw away the unknown usb device in the device manager and plugged the cable back in so that Vista would try to install the driver again: no success.
    - tried other USB slots (not behind HUB): no success.
At this point I was so frustrated that I decided to take out the supplied 1gb micro sd card and transfer some data to it using a card reader. When I looked in the root of the sd card, I noticed that there was an executable called pc-suite.exe there, among some other files. I decided to delete those files to see if they were causing the problems, I deleted the following files:
    - autorun.inf
    - launcher.exe
    - pc-suite.exe
    - qf
Replaced the micro sd card in the phone, plugged in the usb cable and voila: connection! Everything worked like a charm.
During my online search I noticed I wasn't the only one experiencing connectivity problems with the 6700. Maybe this fix will help other people as well, that's why I decided to post it here. ;-)

Thanks Peter, nice job - same problem, your solution is working. Shame on Nokia - i have so many problems with E52, and now with 6700 - why ? Is it so difficult to make a reliable software ? So disappointed ... maybe Apple is the solution - but after 10 years with Nokia why change with Apple ?

  • Nokia 5800 - USB cable connection - Frequent "Conn...

When I connect my Nokia 5800 to PC with USB cable and try to send/recieve any data to/from it, the connection fails after 5-10s. All software form Nokia is affected. The latest PC Suite , Ovi Suite, drivers etc. are installed. With Bluetooth connection everithing is more or less OK but from time to time the phone asks for confirmarion to allow access from PC (despite the connection is already established). Looks like the problem with Connectivity Cable Driver (7.0.2.1) ...

    hi guys, hi nokia
kind of same problem here. I installed the PC Suite from the web. When I want to save my data (contacts, sms, settings) via Content Copier it stops after the contacts and I get a message "connection lost".
On the other hand if I use it as a mass storage I can transfer as long as I want.
    SW-Version is: V 11.0.008
    Special-Version:11.0.008.243.02
I wanted to upgrade the firmware but not before saving everything ... but that's not working.
Also software like the Communication Center do not update the data. I'm missing calender entrys, contacts cannot be manage, etc. The software tells me connection is established but well not 100%.
    Thanks for the help!

  • USB Cable issue

    Hia ll
I just bought the Mark Space software to sync my TX with my MBP, and my first sync worked wonderfgully via bluetooth. However, I have a wireless mighty mouse, and I had issues with them both (its not possible to use both items at the same time).
So I recovered from a lost drawer the USB cable which came with the Palm TX and have tried many times to connect, tried all the USB ports, tried the suggestions on the MarkSpace page, using Profiler and refreshing, etc. No Go. Is it possibel that the cable is damaged? It makes a bleep noise when I connect.... but it cant seem to connect. Ive triple checked the preferences on the coneection type on the TX, did a soft reset, etc.
    Thanks

The secret to synchronized mail is IMAP. Seriously. It is literally impossible to 'synchronize' mail using POP3 clients. It can be done, sort of, in a kind of a hacked, sloppy workaround, but conversion to IMAP is the key.
Not all providers allow for IMAP accounts. There is an Exchange IMAP option, it's available with .Mac and AOL or AIM Mail accounts, but not with Gmail or Hotmail, for example. Many commercial ISPs provide for it, but some major players like Comcast do not. Mac OS X Server uses Cyrus to provide both IMAP and POP3, so if you are running your own mail server in house using OS X Server or a comparable product, then it's a given that you can use it.
Unlike POP3, IMAP stores your messages on the server where all IMAP clients can essentially 'view' them through what is essentially a window into your server provided by each client. You can selectively copy these messages to a folder on your Macintosh in Mail, for example, and use any client to copy, move or delete messages. It's far more powerful and flexible than POP3, and you'll wonder why you every used that technology once you've moved to IMAP. I see the same view no matter which of several IMAP clients I use, on any of my IMAP accounts. Versamail now supports IMAP, though many Palm users opt for SnapperMail from SnapperFish, instead.
The Missing Sync for Palm OS allows some control over where data is stored on your device, but most decisions are made for you by either the Palm OS or a Missing Sync conduit. Photos, for example, move between iPhoto and and available built-in storage on your handheld, or on a supported SD card.
Incidentally, your T|X supports 802.11 WiFi, and the Missing Sync for Palm OS also supports synchronization via WiFi. You can easily configure that using the Network Synchronization Assistant under its Help menu. Faster and 'cooler' than Bluetooth, in my estimation. That's one way to deal with the cordless mouse interference issue!

  • Nokia 2760 USB cable...

Which USB cable can I use with the 2760? Am I even meant to use one with this phone?
I have managed to get bluetooth set up via the PC suite (after some fun with BlueSoleil incompatibility with the newest version), but I notice that I can't update the phone's firmware without a cable.
However, the phone didn't come with a cable, and the manual only mentions syncing with bluetooth. The Nokia website doesn't list a cable available under it's accessory search for the 2760.
Is this a standard cable connection I can buy from another retailer?
    Many thanks.

That's not true! What about CA-126 cable?
As you can see it's a USB cable for Nokia 2760!
Wrong, it's true because the 2760 does not have a USB port.
That cable can be used to charge a 2760, but not for data. The compatibility section for that cable is very misleading to novice users.
    Nice try though
You might want to look at your specs again. I just bought a USB cable for it and the software suite is using it as a serial cable. I can see the phone's drive and the files. I have also used the suite to do a full sync and backup. I guess the port is a serial port even though it is a usb connector. I sure wish the software to upgrade the firmware would use a serial port. If anyone knows how to make the firmware update program use a serial link I would love to hear it.
    Thanks

  • Nokia N800 - USB Connectivity Issues

I was just getting ready to purchase about 3000 770's when I found out the N800 was being released. So I bought a few test models. I am having some issues with the new model that I've not heard addressed on any forums yet:
    1. USB connection to the PC is a little bit "picky". After several failed attempts to connect to my Windows XP machine ("Error connecting USB device" ), I finally figured it out: The 800 has to be powered OFF before it's plugged in. This was not the case for the 770.
    2. Despite all attempts, I've failed to connect the N800 to a Mac. This is the first device I've ever had problems getting a Mac to talk to.
    And finally, a complete mystery:
    3. Why, on a device touting its open source qualities, is the software updater written exclusively for dot Net architecture? I wonder if anyone else has found the fact that a Linux-based device can not be updated by a Linux-based computer a bit ironic?Message Edited by sealswcc on 22-Jan-2007

After upgrading from an older version of OS2008 to the latest
version, I lost the ability to connect my N800 to my Linux
box as a USB device. Before, it would show up as a USB
device, and I could access the card. Now it doesn't.
I have it plugged in when I connect the cable, and when
I start it, it boots as though the cable is not connected,
and it does not appear as a device. This is rather odd!
    Has anybody else experienced this?

  • Micro USB cable issue

    Hi everyone,
I bought my Z1 a month ago, and always used the cables I already had to connect it to my PC or on car charger, and the wall charger I have since my SGS2.
Today I tried the brand new one out of the box of the phone, and surprise, it doesn't work properly: connection is not stable, moving the cable causes connection or disconnection very quickly.
    Does anyone had this problem?
Is it possible to get a new working cable?
    Thank you

That might be a hardware issue, take it to a Sony repair center and/or back to the store

  • Can I use a compatible Nokia USB cable?

It seems like an obvious question, but I want to avoid making a fatal mistake!
Please note: the only reason I wish to do this is for convenience (1 cable permanently attached to my pc/ 1 cable permanently attached to charger).
I can see the Sony & Nokia micro USB cables are "identical".
I have plugged in my Sony charger plug to the electricity with the Nokia micro USB attached.
When I then connect it to my Sony z1 the device appears with a message “Go Connect”…
I have not continued until I get some advice please.
    Should I initiate “Go Connect”?
Should the Nokia USB cable work? [note: as I am only attaching the cable to the Sony charger plug, then the voltage should be controlled by the Sony charger plug, no?]
Do I have any risks in using it? [I understand “it is recommended to use Sony original chargers”]
Will the phone still recognise both the charger with the Nokia USB cable and the Sony USB cable on my pc without any conflicts?
Would it also be ok to use it as the USB cable on the pc?
I really appreciate help – it will simplify my life!

  • N81 USB Cable - Resolved problem!

I had problem with my N81. It wasn't connecting with my PCs using nokia's USB cable. No message was showing. Bluetooth was working fine. I was restarting PCs and mobile several times but without effect.
Then I remembered myself that I had same problem with my Logitech Steering-Wheel.
I plugged N81 to Playstation 2, unplugged, and plugged to PC. It resolved my problem. I got message on display of N81 to choose transmission mode!
    It's strange, isn't it?

I had the same problem: I plugged the phone in my laptop's USB port -- and nothing no "ding dong" absolutely nothing! I tried plugging the phone to Linux box and no dmesg output here either.
I thought I broke the cable or the connector, and got a new one -- but nothing. It was driving me bonkers. Sometimes, I wish I would have gotten the iPhone instead -- seriously!
I discovered my "Playstation-less solution" for this problem by accident. OK, here we go:
    1. Set a "quick alarm" in your clock application (i.e. two or three minutes past the current time).
    2. Turn the phone off.
    3. The phone will power up and your alarm will sound. Switch it off and the phone will ask you if you want to use the phone. Choose "Yes" here.
    4. Boom, magically your phone will be recognized again when you plug it to your USB port and the N81 will ask you to choose the transmission mode.
    5. You're done.
Don't ask me what happens in the phone when the alarm goes off, and how it got in that "non detect mode" in the first place but this is how I fix mine now. As an explaination how it might have gotten in that "non detect mode" the only thing I can think of, and this is pure speculation, is that I might have had the phone connected to the USB port while the Laptop was doing a reboot. In the boot sequence a USB device was recognized, and the PC tried to boot from it and this might be what screwed the phone up.
Let us know if this works for you as well
    Anyway, good luck everyone.

  • Does iPOD default 1 year warranty cover USB cable?

I found out that my 5G video iPOD is not able to charge with PC due to usb cable issue (another borrowed cable works). I bought my iPOD 1 month back so it is still under warranty. Does the warranty cover the faulty USB cable?

Yes. Apple's warranty covers everything in the box.
Bring both the cable and the iPhone to an Apple Store for evaluation.

  • Why only USB cable CA-157? Nokia shall make more e...

    Hi,
Why only USB cable CA-157 is using in certain phones? I want my C6-00 also able to use the smiliar function. And WHY this cable is proprietary? NOT microUSB as most of the new phones use?

    Hi user109,
Welcome to the Nokia Discussions Forum! USB OTG (On The Go) is indeed compatible with only few Nokia devices. It is the same thing like with most of the features in mobile phones, some features are meant to work with certain software or hardware. Unfortunately it is not possible to get the USB OTG to work with C6-00.
Like we can see from here, the USB OTG cable CA-157 has male micro USB connector on the other end, and female normal USB connector on the other end. It is meant to be used with USB memory devices.
I didn't quite get what do you mean by "WHY this cable is proprietary?"?
