Help nokia mobile promo

can anyone help with this i received an e-mail from a Dr Anthony floid, who claims to be the Nokia cash officer assigned to the mobile sweep stake. Can anyone tell me if they have received the same e-mail if not, then nokia needs to look into this for their customers sake.

There have been many posts about this and it is definitely a scam. Sometimes they use yahoo or live accounts but a genuine one would use a Nokia account. Nokia wouldnt just give away money without entering a competition and if they DID give away money, it would be for 150 years.
DO NOT give your credit details as these people will scam you and take your money. If you watch the news and stuff, there have been many Nigerian Scammers using approaches like these.
For years I have been toying with fate. Now, maybe fate has chosen to toy with me. In this case, fate has served its purpose well.

Installing my MIDlet suite to my Nokia Mobile (Help .!)

I have created a MIDlet suite with 4 MIDlets in it..
I used the Sun Wireless ToolKit in NetBeans 6.0
Now, I want the MIDlet suite to run on my Nokia Mobile which I own.
What is the process .?
And do I have to use any specialized Nokia tool kit for this purpose ? (Since I want the MIDlet to run in my Nokia 6070)

As long as you app complies to the requirements set by Nokia, you should be able to load it up without problems. Nokia is great by giving very detailed info on these aspects. I've loaded my Nokia with specific apps tailored with Nokia SDKs and I have used example apps from Sun. There might be other considerations, but the MIDP version and the CLDC version are the main constraints. Everything depends on what you want to do with the app...

edit: Another main constraint is the size of the .jar file. Nokia suggests using a compression tool.

Are files compatible with other nokia mobiles ?

My nokia mobile has just been broken and cannot be switched on. I recorded my friend's phone numbers in a Nokia PC Suite file. I'd like to transfer those data to my new nokia phone (I haven't bought it yet, but it won't be the same because mine is not available anymore (6131, too old allegedly)). Can files related to my nokia 6131 can be transferred to another nokia phone compatible with PC suite (or Ovi suite) ? cause I read somewhere that my PC suite contact file version is related to my 6131, and it could happen that my new phone won't recognize the file I saved.

You are most likely confusing blocking with blacklisting that I mentioned above.

Nokia mobile VPN Client - split tunneling

Hi
I'm trying to get Nokia mobile CPN Client working with split tunneling on a Cisco firewall.
I have full access to all on my internal lan's when I make the VPN tunnel, so tunnel is up and working.
But I do not have access to anything in the internet, it tries to route internet requests through the VPN. I have set split tunneling on the Cisco firewall and it is working as intended on all other devices.
Any ideas of what I have missed?
My policy is based on the bundled Cisco_ASA_pskxauth.pol from the Nokia mobile VPN Client Policy Tool.

My nano SIM works in my Nokia mobile phone but "No SIM" when in my iPad mini

I've been around the support loop a few times with varying levels of success, here is my story.
Basically I expect to only occasionally require mobile data services so would like to move my nano SIM from my Nokia mobile phone to the iPad mini as and when required. I have a 500Mb data allowance on my current contract with Vodafone UK which I never use but would like to access with my iPad mini.
The first time I tried it worked! I never tried to surf using it but it registered with Vodafone UK OK and had a good signal level. The second time “No SIM” or “SIM not installed” popup at bootup.
Now irrespective of contracts, tariffs, data plan etc I expect the iPad mini to recognise there as being a SIM present every time and never give “No SIM” except of course when there isn’t one physically in the thing.
Playing along to support and forum suggestions I’ve done a couple of device resets (software reinstalls) and various setting resets. But still “No SIM”.
I’ve also spoken with Vodafone UK and am investigating whether this is in fact some restriction where they’ve restricted the technology so SIM swapping is not allowed. My Nokia E51 is not locked as have had it years.
I just cannot get past the “No SIM” message though!

Do have the details as to why that is?
The single time it recognised the nano SIM and showed as being connected to Vodafone UK I tried to ring it to see what would happen, it just rang out until voicemail picked up but nothing happened on the iPad mini whatsoever.

my new nokia N8 was working brilliantly until software update !
now i cannot customise screensaver. i was able to use my own screensaver [gif]
file but now the option does not appear, the only options i see are none, music player, slide show or big clock, these options do not allow customisation and eat up my battery life
before update i had option for animation and was able to personalise ie file,time out etc. now nothing!
the software vers. i am using is ver.013.016
please help me get my animation back

Transfering contents between 2 nokia mobiles

does any one know how to transfere data between 2 nokia mobile phones ( 6680 and N70)?!!...I want to transfere all the text messages from onbe mobile to another.

The N70 should be able to install the transfer app on the 6680 I would think - it did on my 6260. It should search for a phone, then install the program like any other.
Then it just dragged everything from the 6260 to the N70, apart from the messages, but as ricksvill suggested, you can use Lifeblog for that.Message Edited by richcowell on 17-Jun-2006

In our country Pakistan two languages viz Urdu and Sindhi are spoken which have its own alphabets. Sindhi is very old language of the world as its civilization. Sindhi language is very rich having great numbers of letters with the result anyone can pronounce any word of an other language of the world with right accent easily. Its letters are similar to Arabic language with slight difference of additional letters. If the letters / alphabet of Sindhi language are added / introduced in coming software of Nokia Mobiles, it will be great achievement of your institute on one hand and vast familiarity among mobile users, on the other.
I have also tried to get the same result for future software of Microsoft and Adobe to promote and facilitate the user’s interest.
