Help NOT downloading apps to iTunes on my PC

I have three girls ages 9, 11 and 13. they each have iPhones or iTouches and download a whole lot od what I call "CRapps". We use a single itunes account because I want to be able to guard against explicit lyric songs and age-inappropriate games, etc.
I don't mind them having them on their devices. But every time I launch iTunes, it starts to download all 128 apps (5-15 MB a piece!!) to my PC.Can I tell iTunes on my desktop that I NEVER want to download all the apps that my family gets for their devices to my PC? I've already edited my preferences under the "store" tab to NOT automatically download app purchases made on other devices, but it doesn't seem to stop it.
A corollary question: Once apps ot in iTunes on my PC. Can I delete them, without causing them to delete on my kids' devices?

Help: Not Downloading Apps?

Every time I download apps it just keeps displaying the loading bar, but it won't fill up so I can use the app..? The only way I can download and use new apps is when I sync to my comp I can download them from their and install them on the phone. Has anyone else had this problem because I couldn't find anyone?

I'm having this same issue as well. It only started happening yesterday. Before that never a problem. Plugging the phone in to iTunes downloads the app and instals it on the phone but that's not a solution.
I'm using wifi. As for the apps - yesterday was a new download of AIM, today was an update to Apple's Remote app.
I've tried resetting the phone (turning it off and a hard reset (holding home and the power button)) but no luck.
I think I'll hold out to see if anyone finds a solution before restoring my phone from backup.

Why does my ipod touch first gen not download apps from itunes?

Hi Everyone.
Iam a newbe to apple & have a touch 2nd Gen.with no problems.
But my niece has just got a touch 1st Gen.
She is having problems when syncing ,her Apps in itunes will not drop on to the touch.
Software is 1.5, will software upgrade sort out this?
Is it free?
How do you do it?

The Itune account was mine but when my husband update the detail it became his? Now we can not download apps the message that comes up says what ever the item is will be avalible for download when you login to the itune store on yur computer. But I am logged in.Please help??

You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs.

Well, you still haven't told us the particulars of what you're doing. But clearly you are asking your iPad to do a lot of downloading at the same time.
My recommendation:
Reset your iPad by holding the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
Sync your iPad using iTunes on your computer. Let iTunes bear the downloading and/or burden for you.
In the future, when it comes to updating over-the-air, do one thing at a time.

It sounds like you may have subscriptions.
If you want to view your app subscriptions:
From your device's Home screen, tap App Store.
Tap Featured at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Tap the Apple ID button in the lower-left corner. (If you are not signed in, tap the Sign In button, and sign in with your Apple ID. Then, scroll back to the bottom of the page, and tap the Apple ID button.)
Tap the View Apple ID button.
Enter your password and tap OK.
From the main account page, scroll down and tap Manage App Subscriptions. If you don't have app subscriptions this button will not be displayed.
You'll then be taken to your App Subscriptions page.
To turn off auto-renewal:
From your Manage App Subscription page, choose an app subscription.
Tap the subscription category for which you want to disable auto-renewal.
Tap On to toggle the switch to Off.
You'll receive a confirmation message; tap Turn Off to confirm your choice.
To turn off auto-renewal on computer:

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it

Yeah...in United States...everything is back up...but still a little creaky and slow.

To avoid that I would recommend deleting the folder first the copying won't be an issue or deleting all the files in the directory. I know this is an extra step but just like the warning on plastic bags someone somewhere did something they shouldn't have
