Help on e/m cord

Dear sir,
iam having cisco 2821 router and VIC2-2E/M cord ,so plz give me some examples of configuration.
Thanks&Regards
srini

Analogue E&M port wiring and configuration often depend on the device you are connection to. You will probably need to have your PBX details for the connection to work.
Refer here for some suggestions on how E&M ports work, the wiring details and some troubleshooting suggestions -

  • (help) front audio panel cords-- sound card??

    Dear all....
I have an ancient SB Li've! 24 bit SB 040.
Can anybody help me how to connect front audio header (casing) onto the card (ceati've proprietary connector)?
There are 0 pin connector on the card while the casing itself has only 7 pin.
    Regards,

I was wondering that myself. The only thing I think you could possibly do is have both the onboard and the pci sound card enabled and use the onboard sound just for the headphones. I have no tried this yet as I do have the cables connected to the mobo but I have the onboard sound disabled.

  • Does a Laptop Warranty Cover the Power Cord?

Hi, I bought a HP Envy Touchsmart 15 and it is still covered by warranty.   However, I cannot find any support help online such as  the support chat which I find very odd since I just used it about a month ago when my battery died!  Where did all the support go?
Anyways, when I plug in my laptop, the LED by the power port does not come on, and my laptop will not charge or turn on at all.  My battery is dead, but I know it works becasue it is less than a month old.  Since my laptop will not run on AC power even with the battery removed, I feel the power cord is the problem.
I would really like to know if my warranty covers the power cord, and if so how do I contact HP, since there is absolutley no information when I go to "Contact Us" besides the consumer forums.
I am a ECE student at UT in Austin, and every day I go without a laptop is hurting my grades.  So I need help ASAP

    Hi
Yes, power cord, adapter are covered under limited warranty. HP would replace it for you if it's faulty.

Title pretty much says it all . . . have reinstalled S/W several times, followed troubleshootign steps, etc.  No joy.  Please help!

    Hello,
The cord might be the case, but first, try these suggestions:
Try putting your iPod into disk mode, then try connecting it to your computer again...
<a href="How to put your iPod into disk mode</a>
Do you have a wall charger? If so, then try connecting your iPod to that, and does it charge, or not?
Have you checked this link out?:
    <a href="http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60941">iPod doesn't charge correctly
Does your iPod appear in "My Computer"? If so...
iPod shows up in Windows but not in iTunes
    If not...
iPod missing in "My Computer" or in iTunes
Post back on what happens when you try these things out. I hope this helps!

  • Can anyone help with Streaming in Sequence Panel?

I am using Pemiere Pro CS4. It is installed on a New HP Compaq 8100 Elite SFF PC. It has 4.0 GB Ram Installed and a Intel Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20 Ghz.
The operating system is Windows 7.
The problem I am having is that I am able to bring assets in and view them individually in theSource Monitor with no issues. When I bring them into the timeline and view them in the Program Monitor they begin to freeze or jump. They also change resolution sometimes as well. I have been able to get them to stream better but as soon as I add transistions or effects they tend to freeze or jump even more. They rednder with the same issues. Please help.

    I am Re

Movies are recorded AVCHD Video Compression: MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. Audio Compression: Dolby Digital 2ch. As far as codecs I am not sure and the frame rate as far as I can determine are set at a standard of 1/60, I have also noticed that the aperature varies from recordinds that may have been done in portrait vs sport modes. I am not sure on the codecs and have searched to find out with little luck. if I can provide you with any more information please let me know. I keep feeling I am getting close to using this program smoothly and I run into another problem. Thank you for the time and help.

  • Ipod Video to TV does not work :(

I just bought the iPod AV Connection Kit today, it came with the Universal Dock a RCA cable that connects to line out, but for some reason I have trouble displaying videos. It seems like my sound works but video does not show up on TV.
I tried changing setting on iPod to TV>ON still does not work, I tried S-Video still no picture. Can anyone help? Is my cord or dock defectetive? Thanks
    iPod Video   Windows XP

There is no "Photos" library in itunes, this is why its not listed in iTUnes source list. On the PC it just takes photos from the folder you tell it to to add to the iPod.
What you have to do is on the ipod, goto Photos>Slide show settings>TV Out and set it to "On" or "Ask" whichever you prefer.
On - This setting sends the signal/Photo to the TV screen and not on the ipod screen.
Ask - This setting means everytime on the ipod it will ask you (When you goto slide show) if you want to turn TV Out on or off

  • HT1338 Left hand side of monitor dims on 2011/intel based iMac-any suggestions?

Left hand side of monitor dims on 2011 /intel based iMac-any suggestions? Called apple support. Restarted-didn't help. Unplugged my second monitor from the thunderbolt port-didn't help. Unplugged center cord in the middle on the back of the monitor-waited 15 seconds, restarted, held down option-command-p-r and this didn't help. Apple support thought that it was most likely a video card/hardware issue, but would like to hear of any other trouble shooting suggestions.

Not a hardware issue, since it shows up in a screenshot. Please boot in safe mode, launch Safari, and test. Same problem?
Some things won't work in safe mode, possibly including wireless networking.
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode.)

  • EMac 700MHz display turned purple/pink. Can't boot from HD and CD

    hi,
    I have several issues here:
    1) My eMac display turned purple/pink from the start
    2) It won't start from either HD or CD. It gets to the grey Apple and the spinning wheel.. After a while of spinning, it freezes and nothing else I can do. This happens on booting from HD and CD.
    Please help.

try unplugging the cord for an hour or so. unplug it completely, from where it goes into the machine as well as the outlet. if that doesn't work, you could also try a pmu reset. instructions are found in part 6 of this article. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=34885 let me know if that makes any difference.

  • White noise or echo?

I am at a venue and am about to film a conference.
When i send a line back to my camera i get a ton of white noise not to mention the miles of cable trailing behind me, or...
If I use a lapel mic it picks up the sound coming out of the front of house speakers producing an echo.
So I am faced, White noise or echo?
What is the easiest to get rid of in FCP?
I have seen how you can take a sample of an audio track in Audacity to remove the noise, is this my best option after choosing the white noise?
I would prefer the lapel mic as it is a lot clearer and lack of cable behind me, but can I remove the echo in post?

    Hi
    Have You tried a program - SoundSoap™ ?
Can be of great help in some situations.
I got the signal from Audio-help-device - sort of cord encirkling the auditorium
One stereo mic down at podium and 20 m cable picked up the Audio-help-signal
*YES - I should have used a balanced line - did not.*
BUT by taking Left Channel and invert this and add to Right Channel - I got a whisper
that was usably when added to a SoundSoaped version of my Audio.
Great - NO IT WAS NOT but it was understandably = Better than nothing.
Writing out the discussion and adding this as Text lower third made it usably.
    Lot's of work though.
    Yours Bengt W

  • Power adapter green light no power no charge

Thanks in advance for any help with this; I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer currently serving in rural Cambodia, so it's a little tougher to deal with this problem and/or get an alternative computer.
I had been using my MacBook when I realized that although it was plugged in and the LED was green, the battery was losing charge. I tried cleaning out the connector and magsafe port and doing some other trouleshooting including trying to reset the PRAM and SMC. Eventually I was able to borrow a different adapter from a friend, and that didn't work either, so I know it is not an issue there. At this point, the battery is completely drained, and although the LED still lights green (and sometimes orange for a few seconds after being plugged in), the computer will not turn on at all even when plugged in, so it is not just a battery issue. I've been fiddling with it for about a week and no luck on anything. Other than this problem, everything seemed to be working completely fine until the battery died. From some reading, I'm wondering if the problem may the logic board. If so, does anyone know how much it would cost and how long would it take to fix that problem? Are there any other possible things it could be? I'm in a situation where, luckily, there is an Apple repair place in the capital city, but I can only be there for short periods of time once in a great while. I also don't have access to a whole lot of cash and would need to plan in advance if it will be pricey. My Mac has been great until now and is the way I Skype with family and friends, save photos, watch movies, etc from my Peace Corps village, so it would be really great if I could get it fixed. Thanks for any help!

The "power cord" is just an extension cord to give you more length then plugging in the MagSafe adapter. Leave it plugged in if you don't want to drain the battery, otherwise run on battery.
The "duckhead" slides off of the magsafe so the extension cord can plug into it.

  • Surround Sound/ Reciever Problem

I have a pre wired house with two cords covered with a red covering and inside that has 4 wires (red, black, white and green); I then have two cords covered with a blue covering and inside that has multiple wires (gold, orange and white stripes, blue, and a few other colors). I am having troubles having the ceiling speakers inside and the ceiling outdoor speakers coming on through the Yahama reciever. Help?

the blue cord is most likely a data run and it is not used for speakers.
The red cord will be the for the speakers. I am assuming that both sets of speakers have wires running to there location. Go ahead and plug in the speakers to the wiring. Pair the colors as followed- Red(+) & Black(-) wire as a set for the right speaker and the White(+) & Green(-) wire as a set for the left speaker. If all 4 wires run to each speaker, cut off the remaining 2 wires as to not get in the way.
Next step is a 2 person job. One person will need to be by the speakers and the other where all of the pre-wiring of the house comes together. At the pre-wire location, find the cord with the red sheething. If there is more than one, that's ok. With a battery (AA will do) your are going to try and "pop" the speakers. Don't worry this won't harm the speaker. Locate the Red and Black wires in the red cord. Strip the wire to expose the copper if not already done. Place the Red wire on the (-) post of the battery and the Black wire on the (+) post of the battery. If this set of wire is attatched to a speaker the other person will hear the speaker make a "popping" noise. To reproduce the noise again, simply remove one wire from the battery and place it back on. (Sometimes you might have to flip the battery polls to try and get it to pop again also). Do this with every set of wire to try and locate each speaker. Don't forget to label them once you know what goes where.
Now as far as hooking it up the the reciever, I need to know what the model number is.

  • Completely and utterly dead?

About a month ago, my PB G4's cord stopped working properly--it was only today that the new one arrived. Maybe I should have shut the PB G4 down properly, but I didn't think and I allowed it to die. Today I plugged in the new cord--a third party adapter, so no helpful lights--but the cord and the area it plugs into on the computer feel warm to the touch after a little while, so I know electricity is at least moving around. However... Absolutely nothing happens. No response if I press to power button. No response if I press shift + control + power button, no response when I press the battery button on the bottom--it doesn't do anything but behave like a brick. I also tried removing and putting the battery back in again (no way I can afford a new battery).
This particular computer used to overheat sometimes--but it had not done it in a while--so I'm concerned about just leaving it to charge for a long time and trying again.
Suggestions? No way it's just dead like that, right?

    Welcome to the Apple discussions.
Here's how to do a PMU reset: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1431 . If that doesn't do it, what wattage is the replacement power adapter you got?

  • Alternating Green / Orange Light - Charging and On Battery

I am seeing the battery charge status alternating from charging to not charging and at the same time the adapter ring is from Orange to Green on a random basis. It is almost like the power adapter is loose, but I tried 2 seperate adapters and the same thing happens. Now, once the powerbook is fully charged the problems seem to vanish unless you actually wiggle the cord.
I have tried resetting the power management with holding down the power button after unplugging and removing battery. I also have tried the COMMAND-OPTION-P-R keypress on startup. The battery has 300 cycles.
Does anyone have any ideas that I can try or is this a DC Board that needs to be replaced?
    Powerbook G4 - Alumn. 15"   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Just a follow-up for anyone else having this problem.
After a very unsatisfactory issue with AppleCare I went into the local Apple store and waited for 2 hours to see a Genious. He was helpful and noticed the cord was loose (great observation since I had told him that) and he gave me a new power supply. I have to say, he tried to help. Got the powerbook home, plugged in with the new power supply and guess what? Same issue again. I was so impressed. Anyways, a few weeks ago when the problem started I had orderd a new DC board from powerbookmedic.com (I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE DOING THIS!!!!) and followed some directions, took it apart and changed the board. Guess what, problem solved.
I am writing some letters over the next few days to Apple. They need to train their techs on the phone to LISTEN to the customer. Every contact I have had was to try and NOT do anything. It is totally unsatisfactory.

  • P1102w installed different ip addresses on 2 computers and hangs in queue

I used the smart install helper with the USB cord to install Laserjet Pro p1102w on one pc and one laptop.
I send to the printer and it hangs in the queue. The printer doesn't seem to be coming on when I send to it.
On each computer In Devices and Printers, I find HP LaserJet Professional P1102w (selected as Default Printer on laptop) and NPI4E996C (HP LaserJet Professional P1102w) (selected as default printer on desktop). These two things have different IP addresses. I tried to deselect the default on the laptop to try printing from the NPI4...but it wouldn't change for me.
I ran a troubleshooter. It deleted the file in the queue and seemed to think that fixed everything.
What do I do?   Does each computer need a unique IP and Printer file? Could both computers use the same printer file, and can I just delete one (on each computer) or do I need to uninstall? Uninstall everything and start over?
