I want to maintain the delivery and ship-to-address in my organization structure. Where can I get the address number?*

Log in with a user with Admin privileges, go to Administrator menu. click on "Edit Internal Addresses". Find your company code, if you want to create a new ship-to address, click on create new icon. Once you are in address creation form, select ship to address option. When you create address you will be given an address number, the number can also be assigned as delivery address attribute value in org structure.
You can also find existing addresses and corresponding numbers when you click "display list " icon.

Hi,
We have created a report by making a z copy of RCATS_APPROVE_ACTIVITIES. In the Z version we need to hide the buttons on the titlebar of the selection screen.
Buttons are
- Org Structure
- Search Help
- Dynamic Selection
- Selection Fields.
Can you please suggest if I can do something from the code ?

Thanks for your suggestion. However, there is no title bar method that we can modify to remove the buttons. I have created a Z report Category by copying the existing one and made the modifications.
In that we can hide/display UI elements which are displayed by Logical Database.

In my WDA I would like to display an Org structure and allow to select Postion or Unit.
In standard ABAP I would use a Search help for this - something like H_RMPS_DEPARTMENT.
Could I do this in WDA?

You can use the dictionary search help in WDA too. For the context attribute for which you need the search help select the Input Help mode as "Dictionary Search help" and then provide the search help name.
You can also develop a freely programmable search help too. Refer to the below link for more details-

Not able to see hierarchial org structure by clicking on Expand this branch
Dear experts,
I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.

I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.

Goods receipt when PO creator has been removed from org structure ?
Hello in my organisational structure PPOMA_BBP, i have 2 users, X and Y.
X has created a PO in the SRM portal.However , X has been removed from the org. structure.
Is it possible for Y to make the goods recept( that is , Y logs in the portal and makes the goods receipt) ?Hi
Did you try to delete the user ? Did you get any error message?
Note 1148837 - SRM user cannot be deleted
When trying to delete an SRM user the system will check if there are still
related SRM documents in the system. If there are active documents in the
system the deletion is not possible. This is the correct system behaviour.
But even if all related SRM documents are archived the deletion is
sometimes not possible, because there are residual entries in table

Display of Person with position in Org Structure
Dear All,
We have a display issue, please help us to resolve.
While uploading the master data with help of BDC, the data is uploaded which has been checked properly showing data has been uploaded. But when we see the org structure through ppom_old we cant see person assignment to the positions.

Whenever you run master data upload through BDC the relationships in OM are not created.
I am sure you have created the necessary positions in OM under Org Units and then used these positions in BDC to upload your IT 0001. But now you are not able to see the position - holder assignment in OM, right?
If this is your problem then go to SE38 and run program RHINTE00.
Select one or two persons for whom you have uploaded master data and run the above program for them
If you have already created OM objects then tick mark CREATE HOLDER RELATIONSHIPS ONLY
a session will be created with your username which you can process through SM35
please go through the documentation of the report to understand the use.

Org Structure chosen within HR report
I hope I have this question in the right forum. Within a HR report built using the Logical database PNP, you can choose a Report Category that will will allow you to choose 1) Further Selections 2) Search Helps, 3) Sort Order 4) Org Structure. These are buttons at the top of the selection screen.
My question relates to choosing the Org Structure and if the user selects multiple Org Units when clicking on the Org Structure button. The PNP logical will take care of selecting the correct employees based on the Org Units selected.
Is there a way, when the program is executing to determine what the user chose from this Org Structure tree? It's not the PNPORGEH parameter on the selection screen.

Changing name in Org structure - central person

I have got request for name change in SRM. So, i have changed the name details in SU01 and it is not reflecting at central person. I even tried to edit but it was of no use.

Hi,
I have a question related to an org structure issue. Let me explain by taking an example:
The Org set up we have goes like this, let A1 be the VP of a particular division, he has a director B1 reporting to him. B1 has four different employees C1, C2, C3 and C4 reporting to her. The interesting part here is, C1 and C2 belong to a different cost center (say CC1) and C3, C4 belong to a different one (CC2). Both CC1 and CC2 are managed by B1. The tricky part is CC1 comes under the VP 'A1' while CC2 does not have any supervisior above. B1 is the final supervisor.
The problem is, when I run the Org report to find all the employees coming under A1, C3 and C4 also show up. How to correct this?
In our system, the org structure is driven by position of the employee and not by the cost center. However we have an relationship record (A011) in HRP1001 between the Org unit of the employee and the cost center but it does not serve the purpose because B1 is placed in one cost center CC1 and manages the other cost center CC2 too. Since she can be in one cost center at a time say CC1 there is no record pertaining to CC2 for her.
How to resolve this? what kind of config change needs to done?
Any leads or suggestion would be helpful.

You can define your organization structure except the cases you have exceptional .
For the exceptional Objects create them in Expert mode and maintain infotype 1001 depending upon the requirement.

I am new to HR. I have ECC 6.0/windows 2003/oracle on my desktop. I am trying to create a Org Structure using PPOCE and when i saved it asked for the trasnport request. I have created this transport request. when i get out of T-code PPOCE and come back again I am unable to find my org structure that was created earlier. Can you guys help me how to find my org structure.

Org structure is client dependent and it cannot be transported. I am not really sure why it is prompting for a transport when you save a Org structure. Ideally it shouldn't. And about viewing the created Org structure did you try the transactions PPOME or PPOSE --> from the left navigation pane Structural search. Hope you will be able to find the org structure with PPOME, PPOSE.

Org Structure - "No attribute found for scenario BBP"
SRM 7.0 Extended Classic Scenario
Hi, On the check tab for the Central Person (SRM 7.0 shows CP instead of BP in org structure) I have the message "No attribute found for scenario BBP". This is SAP message number 5AT103
Transaction BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE is not showing or clearing the issue.
I have this issue with one user that I created manually, I dragged him around a lot. Other users I created manually within the same organizational unit are fine.
Also, we replicated part of the R3 4.7 HR Org Structure into SRM and I dragged it into my manually created SRM org structure. All users (error on CP tab, as I mentioned) replicated over, have this error.
I took a manually created user that was OK and dragged him into the replicated part of the org structure and he is still OK.
Please help.

Hello Everyone,
We've been testing various scenarios in our QA system regarding the 'relationships' between teams and supervisors with and without the chief's top hat in the org structure. Then, we were left with some questions.
How does MSS work? How can a senior manager in another organisational unit see the records of a manager from another unit?
Eg:- "X" is not a manager in his Org unit, is a supervisor of 8 employees who are all Manager's within their own org unit. Then, when we assigned the chief's top hat to "X" he can only see the employees without top hat's in the same org unit of "X".
So, do we need to amend to include supervisors of managers? i.e. not supervisors of employees just supervisors of managers!
How easy is it to do that? Without this senior managers will have less functionality than individual team managers.
Please let me know if you require any clarification.

1. Create two Org Units - A and B
2. Create employees in Org Unit A and Manager in Org Unit B
3. Make the Manager chief of Org Unit B
4. Create reporting relationship between the employee and the Manager
5. Also create relationship between the employees and the Org Unit
6. Maintain User IDs of all the employees and the Manager in IT0105 in PA30
Above steps are at ECC end
Portal steps:
1. Assign MSS role to Manager's User ID
2. Assign ESS role to employees' User ID
Assignment of roles will be done Portal Consultant.
Then login to portal as Manager and check the team Calendar whether you are able to view the employees

I am new to SAP HR, and hence pardon me if my question seems very basic. I tried searching for a solution on the forum but couldnt get a decent hit. The question is we have a organization structure as follows:
Unit
Function
Department
and in some cases teams within departments
Positions.
We implement this schema by means of Organizational Unit and Positions. but we are not able to replicate the exact structure in SAP as the levels cannot be defined for Organzational Units. We need this information for reporting purpose when we need to find where exactly a prticular position or employee is in the Org Structure.
Also there is no way of identifying the managerial poisition of employees in the company. What we get based on reporting structure is only the employee and his immediate supervisor. We have following Hierarchy in our organization:
CEO
Senior Vice President
Vice President
Department Manager
Team Leader
Employee
How can we maintain this information in OM? We are struggling with our reporting and help will be highly appreciated.

from what i understood from what you have wrote here is couple of hint that might help you.
use PPOCE to create a new root organization i.e. the main organization in the company, if you already did use PPOME to create sub orgs, positions and jobs.
if you maintain this, you can maintain OM relationships in PO10 "for organization units" PO13 "for positions" and PO03 "for jobs"
In general, to get the reporting structure "and show whom report to who" you need to maintain couple of relations in OM infotype 1001 "Relationships"
here is a list of couple of usefull relationship that you need to maintain:
B|012 is managed by "position"
B|002 is reports line to "org unit"
scroll the standard relationships that you might benefit from it.
Edit: Regarding reporting tools, if the standard reports of SAP didn't satisfy your needs, you always can take help of ABAP'ers to get a custom reporting tools.
also, you can create custom OM infotypes where you can create what you need from OM structure and tailor it based on your needs.

We would like to move a few org units, and all the people within them to a new Org unit, this has a different company code, and cost centres. What process should we follow?
Move Org management org structure on specific date?
change the cost centres to the new ones.
Then transfer each employee in Personnel administration to the correct Personnel area/subarea?

Have you tried to create a new plan version with the proposed changes. Once you create this then change the plan version to active. This might be more helpful rather than doing amendments for the current plan version.
