Help - Opinion needed for linked picture - Trackpad Click

I need your help. This was just one of the problems sent in for Depot Repair. It's going back for this and other problems. H.?. at the repair Depot repair said they don't relace stuff that works, hence they won't replace a lop-sided key. Is this right?
It can't be "normal wear and tear" because that just doesn't happen with 4 weeks of use. I bet it will eventually break. That's what I seem to get when reading the forums here.

There seems to be a hint that there are more problems that meets the eye with the trackpad buttons and many of you are reporting problems and suffering. Based on discovering all of the click issues in the Laptop Forums, I believe that Toshiba in Japan needs to address it with a re-design.

You can't put a random number generator is a gif. GIFs are images following a particular format (and using compression owned by an evil company which a few years ago anyway were threatening to sue everybody in the world), and is not executable. That doesn't really make sense.
But don't try to describe problem in terms of a possible implementations; that just confuses the matter. It sounds like you want to display images, based on a static gif file, with additional random content added. Is that what you want to do?
I'm pretty sure it's possible to:
(1) load an image from a GIF file, into a buffer
(2) filter that buffer through a routine that draws arbitrary stuff
(3) that arbitrary stuff could include alphanumeric text produced by a random number generator
(4) the output from the filter could then be used to create an image object
(5) that image object could then be displayed.

HELP: I need to link a PDF within PDF and be able to open and return to original PDF

I have a master PDF and have attached 7 supplemental PDF documents. I created "click here" icons and used the steps below so that the linked document would open. The problem is, once I open the supplemental PDF, it closes the original master. I would like to close the linked document and return to the master view. Is there a way to do this?
Or is there a way to do this from InDesign? I created master file in InDesign and exported as an Interactive PDF. I created the buttons and linked them to external files. This works great as long as the master PDF and the links are all in one file, but that is a pain to send to a viewer. Ideally, I want to be able to send the master PDF to a viewer and not have to send a links folder. Is there a way to embed the supplemental PDFs into the master so that they are all combined into one file AND have the ability to use buttons to call up one of the attachments, close, and return to the original?

I want to do the same thing that the original poster of this question wants to do. I haven't worked extensively with Acrobat so am finding by trial and error the several ways PDFs within PDFs can be accomplished. I'm using a trial version of Acrobat Pro X and have experimented with three options.
1 - I've created a Portfolio and am impressed with what that can do, though I think it may be "overkill" for the current size of my project.
2 - I've also tried creating this project as an index but discovered that the links I'd created in the original docs didn't work when I moved the index and its contents (keeping the file structure the same). I presume this means the links are absolute? I also don't understand how it is that users search a .pdx file, or how to present what I want to be the original opening PDF of indexed docs.
3 - I've also thought to create one PDF with attached PDFs, so I'd like to have you expand on your comment about creating a master document and attaching documents to it.
The specifics of my project are these: I have created a master directory that contains approximately 120 links. Most of the links are repeated three times (users can find in the directory the item they need in three different ways: alphabetically, by application, or by module; hence each item listed once in each of three categories). I want to make that directory the "master" PDF that users open first, and then locate within that PDF the 5-8 PDF documents that contain all of the places to which the directory links. I want the "master" directory to be self-contained and completely "portable" as far as all of the documents and links are concerned so that when I make the PDF available from our website users can open the master from there or copy it and have all of the docs they need with all of the links intact. I think I prefer that all docs open in new windows, since returning to the original doesn't seem very user friendly in Acrobat (I like the tabs feature in FoxIt when multiple PDFs are open...).
I'd like an opinion about the best way to accomplish what I need to do, and am also wondering whether there are other options I am unaware of. BTW, the reason we've decided to document this whole project in PDFs rather than HTML is because this project contains a big number of tables, which do not look consistent across various browsers (i.e., most of our tables look fine in IE and Firefox, but awful in Google Chrome...). In researching my issue on the Acrobat Windows forum I see that rendering tables in Acrobat is also an issue that seems to be unresolved.

Urgent Help is Needed for Database Installation Problems

How can we resolve the following database problems in Windows XP? Originally, we had Oracle 10.1.0.4.2, and we wanted to upgrade it to Oracle 10.2.0.1. We uninstalled Oracle Home ORAH1_DEV and then got the following problems while installing Oracle 10.2.0.1. How can we resolve all these errors so database configuration assistants can work successfully? Please help us with these ASAP. Thank you very much for your help and time in advance.

-OyA specific ORACLE_HOME holds the binaries for a specific version of Oracle. You don't upgrade by simply installing a newer version of Oracle into the ORACLE_HOME of an older version. If you tried to do that you have probably irreversibly corrupted the original installation.
And there is no URGENT or ASAP here. We are all volunteers with regular jobs. If you have "urgent" support issues you need to open a Service Request with Oracle Support.

rudisb92075's response was helpful. It was pointing out that we need to have tables and data to work with and not just a piece of unfamiliar code that we are told doesn't work in some way. Without the tables and example data and expected output we could only guess what the problem may be. The OP has also said their issue is urgent, which it isn't as I pointed out to them, but then their response to sb92065's request for tables and data was just to say that they want us to do their work for them and they'll test it. That's not only rude, but also wastes our time as we have to make a guess as to what the problem may be then wait for the OP to test it, to no doubt tell us that it still doesn't work, so we can make another guess.
This is not the way a professional forum works. If the OP wants help with the issue they need to provide relevant information as requested. The fact they seem to keep asking questions and non of them are being marked as answered should be a good indication that they are not asking the questions correctly.
So, before you criticize members as being unhelpful, it is perhaps better if you read what they have requested and understand what they've said.
Therefore, we still await the OP's response providing some useful information to be able to help...

Urgent HELP! need for my Zen touch (20

Right here we go. I bought my zen touch online last year from a well known supplier. Absolutly brilliant mp3 plaey and happy with the value for money i got. The player did freee alot since i got it at inappropiate times eg. When i was on holiday and had nothing to reset it with. Recently i have been experiancing alot of problems. First one is that it froze so i reseted it, all seemed well until the Welcome screen came on and stayed like that for 0 mins and then it resumed back to normal. This has since continued. 2nd problem is every time i add a song from the computer (same process that i have been using since i got it) all seems well until.... i turn the player on select any song to play and the player results in PLAYBACK ERROR. So i reset , the player then freezes for another 0 mins and then is back to normal. This also has continued. And third and finally everytime i reset now i get the message rebulding libary and it is almost done and yet low and behold freezes again for another 0mins. Also i need urgent and quick help as my warrantty runs out in days. PLEASE HELP!!!! and to add to this i have tonight installed a new firmware and still experiance same problem. As igedit says, the player does sound faulty unfortunately, so I would contact Creative Support.

Share your knowledge with others (create your blog or something else where you will show to people your examples of work, where you will write about as3 and will share your experiences and knowledge, this can give you chance to consolidate your knowledge and give opportunity other people study as3)
Try to separate big not understandable problem to smaller(after you find answer to all small problems you can find answer to big problem)

Help/Example needed for creating JMSQueues/JMSTopics using the MBean API

I am trying to create JMSQueues programmatically using the MBean API. When
I use MBeanHome.createAdminMBean(), a queue appears in the root of the
config file. This is progress, but the queue is in the wrong place! I need
the queues to be part of my JMS server's "destinations" as seen on the
console.
So now I am trying to use createConfigurationMBean() instead, but I can't
figure out what the "parent" parameter should be- no documentation! My
first guess was that the parent might be the JMSServer, but that doesn't
work.
Anyone have example code to insert JMSQueues and JMSTopics into a specific
JMS server's destinations?

you want to see the commands I'm using, I can post them, but the basic one
is shown below in the previous message. We're trying to set up a script so
that developers can just run it and properly configure WebLogic with the
right components.

I'm doing a java applet which hav the function of playing mp3 files as for my case is .wav file.. I can start to play by using the audio clip object file but how about jumping to next song by pressing the fast forwad button and back track the previous ones by pressing the backward button.. I think I found it and I've fixed it on my computer. In Add-ons do you have an add on called Game Play Labs? If so, unistall it. I had 2 different ones that said Game Play Labs. I unistalled both and haven't had the red banner warning pop up at all.
I found the info by googling.

You have to buy OS X 10.6, which is available from the online Apple Store, which in the US is at 800-MY-APPLE. Install the DVD they send, do Software Update until no more updates are available, and then you can install iTunes 7. iTunes 7 requires OS X 10,6,8.

Finding Tables needed for linking Batch Numbers/Items to Invoice Items

I'm trying to create a report that will show basically a Sales Invoice and under each line Item show the Items with thier batch numbers that went into that sales Item. My difficulty is in finding the table or tables that have key fields to relate Invoice to Batches and inventory. Looking at forms/reports in B1 I have found RBTN OBTN and RITL tables but only the OBTN shows in the crystal as a datatable.
