Help - option premium calculator configuration and testing

Hi Experts,
I've been reading up on Option premium calculator in saphelp.com but it doesn't give me pre-requisites that are to be maintained first before TXAK can be used perfectly.
Would like to request for assistance in 1) customizing/configuring and 2) testing the Option premium calculator..
Customizing done so far (using DUMMY Values):
A) Yield Curve type 9999, Curr SGD maintenance in table JBD14
B) Reference Interest rate for yield curve 9999 via txn JBYC
customizing via SPRO (using DUMMY values):
C) Define reference interest rate (NOMVAL_SGD)
FSCM > TRM > Basic functions > Market data mgmt > Master data > settings for ref. interest rates and yield curves for analyzersMaintain Exchange rate volatilities
D) Enter exchange rate volatilities for transaction currencies
FSCM > TRM > Basic Functions > Market data mgmt > Manual market data entry > Statistical data > Enter exchange rate volatilities
Please do let me know what other data I SHOULD MAINTAIN aside from the items above..

you have to set all activities in the workflow to "general task" as well, not only for WS12300111 itself (doubleclick on each symbol with the "triangle").
check the status of the sent leave request in transaction PTARQ (Display Documents). Here the "next agent" & the "pers. no" of the next agent is of interest.
logon with the user, that is saved in infotype 0105 of the above mentioned pers.no. there should be the approve request.
you can check the status of the workitems with SWI1 (i assume your system is prepared for workflows , check SWU3)

C240 M3 Stuck at "Configuring and testing memory .."

Hi,
This server's just been returned to us from Cisco, who had it on loan since it was new. We're trying to put it back into service, but have hit the following problem.
On first power-up the server gets as far as the "Configuring and testing memory .." message. Just that message, it doesn't show any progress in actually testing memory. After a few seconds it shuts itself down, then spins up again, repeating that a couple of times before sitting with the "Configuring and testing memory .." message at the top of the screen, but now also showing CIMC IP address at the bottom. All four LEDs above the power button show steady green, and the unit ID buttons switch the blue LED on/off as they should.
I can get to the CIMC login screen, but the password's been changed from default so can't get any further in that direction until we find out the new user/password details. Unless someone knows how to reset CIMC to default.
I've tried the following recovery steps ..
(1) If we set the "Clear CMOS" jumper J2065, the server won't power up. It powers up to standby, but does not respond on pressing the power button.
(2) Using the "BIOS recovery" jumper J2068 doesn't appear to have any effect, the server does not read the recovery file from USB flash drive.
Any ideas?

Cheers. There's not much to reseat at this stage. The server came back with two CPUs of unknown type, I've removed and set those aside in case they're some sort of weird CPU that needs a special memory configuration.
We've fitted a single E5-2609 as CPU1 and single DIMM in A1. There are no PCI cards or anything else to reseat. As a matter of fact the server behaves exactly the same if there's no memory at all, making me think it's hanging up before starting the memory check.
I would love to get into the CIMC, but does anyone know a way to reset the username/password other than via the BIOS screens (which aren't accessible).

Configuring and testing email functionality for GP

Hi,
May I know what are the steps that i need to do in order to send email out to users in Guided Procedures? What are the configurations that need to be done?
And after configuring it, is there any way to test if the email configurations is set properly and is working fine?

Resolution
Update to the latest version of iTunes. The latest version of iTunes can be downloaded from this page. If updating to latest version of iTunes does not resolve the issue, continue: Error occurs while syncing music
The error will most commonly occur while syncing music. This issue can be resolved by following these steps:
Select the device name in iTunes under Devices.
Click the Music tab and under the Sync music option, choose Selected playlists.
Deselect the Voice Memos playlist.
Click Apply and then click Sync.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, check the device and the iTunes library for duplicate voice memos. If you find any duplicate voice memos, delete the duplicates and then sync.If those steps do not resolve the issue, then follow these steps:
Select the device name in iTunes under Devices.
Click the Music tab and deselect the Sync Music option.
Click Apply and then click Sync.
After the sync is complete, reselect the Sync Music option.

Test in a new user account

How to configure and test Profibus network using NI part number 780161-01 Master/Slave interface

I have purchased this board from NI. I have been in touch with Comsoft who it appears is the developer of this board. I have used the configurator II to try and build the network. The GSD file for my slave board is entered. I also can see the GSD file for the master. There appears to be no obvious way to test the bus from the configuration tool. I have tried the Express VI provided by Comsoft. Nothing happens. I have a purchased profibus cable with terminations installed. I know the cable works as another division has another Profibus master that does work using this cable How do I configure correctly for sure? How do I test?

Hi Rick,
First, ensure that you have the correct drivers installed on your system:
Make sure NI-VISA 4.2 or later is installed on your system.
First install 1.3x.x COMSOFT driver
Second install a DF PROFI II Slave and Master board in your PC-System.
Reboot your computer System.
Install the NI-PROFIBUS driver, instructions can be found here.
However, it sounds to me like you may have an issue with your bus configuration or with the GSD file. First, did you obtain the GSD file from the manufacturer or from profibus.com?
Also, common issues with the configuration include specifying an improper baud rate (supported baud rates can be found here), or an incorrect PROFIBUS address. Were you able to successfully save the bus configuration and generate the configuration database? Were you able to load the configuration database into the master device successfully as well?
If you are unable to resolve this issue, can you provide me with some more information about your system setup and error? What PXI chassis are you using, version of LabVIEW, operating system? What devices are you testing on the bus?

Need some help regarding Client Proxy generation and test via SOAMANAGER

we are integrating a 3rd party Java client via webservices.
For that matter I generated a client proxy (consumer proxy) in se80 using the existing WSDL.
This worked fine.
The I wanted to create a logical port.
Since this is only possible in SOAMANAGER I tried it there.
Trying to do this automatically by the given WSDL file didn't work. The system dumps.
So, I tried the manual approach by entering the server name and path in the 'Transport settings' tab.
Now I wanted to test this.
Unfortunately the test function in se80 (Proxy->Test) doesn't show a positive result.
I always get an error
SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response:
ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED")
So, I am kind of stuck here.
Do you guys have any idea what's wrong (approach, settings, bugs)?.
I tested the webservices with a test application (soapUI), and they work fine.
So it seems to be a problem in the proxy framework or a network problem?
I really appreciate any kind of help.

Having problems configuring and testing FieldPoint modules with MAX 3.0.

I have a FP-1000 and FP-AO-200 connected together. MAX is able to find the FP-1000 and communicate with it. The FP-AO-200 POWER and READY lights are on.
MAX does not find the FP-AO-200 when I invoke "Find Devices". I can manually define it using "Create New Device". When I attempt to test a FP-AO-200 channel using the Write function in "Items Configuration" I get the following error message: "The module or item addressed does not exist".
I am also not able to write to any FP-AO-200 channels in LabVIEW 7.0.
Any ideas what is wrong?

I would check the pins on the FP-1000, between the modules for bent or pushed in pins. Then, I would make sure the AO module is seated correctly in the Terminal Base.
If that's not it, try a different AO module and/or a different TB, to see which is the culprit. The AO module should show up when you do "Find Devices".

When & if I set all my realms as protected then I am unable to startup my servers and get the folowing error:
We are trying to setup (as in intergrate SiteMinder with Savvion) SiteMinder v2 with weblogic 8.1 sp 5. We have appropriately included the references to variours siteminder related jars as per Netegrity's ASA document. We aren't using any webserver, instead wewould be using launching page (which be a protected resource). The following is the installation, configuration, and testing information related to various siteminder components:
SiteMinder Identity Asserter (IA) - installed, configured & tested successfully.
SiteMinder Authentication Provider - installed, configured & test result -> Unsuccessful.
SiteMinder Authorziation provider - installed, configured & test result -> Unsuccessful.
Has anyone seen anything similar to the following? My guess on the above is that it looks like it is trying initialise siteminder stuff every time we start each of the servers(admin, ejb and portal). Since the initialisation happens for the 1st time) when the admin server is started, an error is thrown complaining about not being to initialise when we start either portal or ejb after that. If this is true then is there a way around this problem?
The Admin Server starts fine. But when we try to start either of the ejb or portal server, we get the following error:

I'd like to have a closer look at that error message please.
Generate the error message again. While the error message box is open, hold down the Alt key and hit the PrtSc key. Paste the screenshot into an image file (using a program like Paint), and save the file.
Start a reply here and click the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window. Click "Choose file", browse to the image file, select the file and click "Open". Now click "Insert file" to insert the screenshot into the reply.

Installed MySQL ODBC, system DSN configured and working, provider still not showing in SQL 2005 provider list

As per the title, really.
I need to fetch data periodically from a MySQL DB. Installed the 5.1 MySQL 32bit ODBC driver onto the SQL server, configured and tested the DSN, all fine.
Provider still not showing in the list in Management Studio.
Can anyone offer any advice? is it a simple case of restarting services? I haven't tried that due to the server being in production.

Is this a 64 bit SQL Server? For a linked server you can only use OleDB data provider, have you also installed OleDB for MySQL? If not, then you have to use the ODBC OleDB provider together with a System DSN.

Page / iView Help Option

Hello,
I have a couple of questions regarding the Help option at Page Title and iView Tray level.
First, this option is available in the properties of PageToolBar but when I set it on, it still does not appear in the options menu.
Second, I have set the option on in a url iview and it appears in the options menu of the iView tray but when I click it I get directed to a page saying 'Sorry no help'. Where do I maintain the content of this linked help page?

To set the URL at the iView level, do the following:
Open the iView, click on 'Edit property Attributes' (its the link right at the top above the Property Category Dropdown)
In the new window, select "URL to help topic" and change the end user personalization to "Read/Write" -- Click Apply/Save.
Back in the iView Content editor, in the Property category, select "Show All".
Scroll down to the field, "URL to Help Topic", where you can enter the URL
You should hide the help url after setting it--otherwise the end user can change.

The "link related" and "text related" crashes were what I interpretted here, too, though I'm at a loss on how to proceed given that this is a fresh system and applications. This is happening with multiple InDesign projects in a design office environment where many others work on the same files and none of the other computers are having problems with these files. I've removed the same files listed (thank you for those) before and did so effectively with creating the new user account to test with, but it had no effect. I just tried again though, as these files could easily have becone corrupt again if they were being written to when InDesign crashed. Will let you know if that makes any difference. I've also gone through and completely cleaned out the fonts again and once more cleared the font caches. If need be I'll reboot this system into safe mode and try that way.
