Help! Oracle 8i Personal Too Large to Download - Options?

The zipped file is WAY too large for me to download at 56k (over half a gigabyte!)
Is there another way for me to get an eval copy of this?
(I plan to install it on Windows XP Pro)

6103 doesn't accept memory card, and its internal space is not so big to download many games.
Maybe the games you really want to download have better graphics' quality, so they need more space, and your provider's ones are low-quality and need less space.
My phone doesn't accept games that have more than 1mb, so 6103 must not accept them too. Before trying to download a game, see how much memory you have at the moment.

OS X 10.4.7 udates too large to download with dial up

The Mac OS X Update combine for Intel based macs (version 10.4.11) is 330 MB. That of course is way too large for my dial up internet connection to handle. Where I live there is no other options . . . so my question is . . . what do I do. Is it possible to have the downlaod sent to me on CD by apple or something? I tried going into an Apple store, making an appointment with a Genius (which is the wrong monniker for those people), trying to get the data from another computer, waiting to see if it would eventually download, and a few other things - nothing works.
The 50% of the people in the US with internet connections over 1MB do not seem to realize that the other 50% of us with internet connections under 512k (and no other options) exist.
Software vendors now assume that everyone can get updates via the internet.
People with high-speed internet don't seem to know how hard it is to use a computer when you cannot get OS, and application updates.
Even the security companies have this all wrong. They want me to download files which are 10s of megabytes so that they can protect me from viruses and adware.
I love installing a program I purchased in a store only to find that it will not run without some massive program that I can only get via download.
FYI: I have PCs, Macs, and Linux. They all have this same issue. But, you can pay Microsoft to send you a CD of OS patches, updated apps, IE releases, and/or media player. While I do not like MS, they are the one software vendor that seems to give the low-speed internet users some options.
Apple does not want to market to people without access to high-speed internet. Its was the number one design goal of iTunes and the apple.com website - if you don't have the bandwidth, then we don't want you here.
They continue to add more products and features which are 100% dependent on a high-speed pipe.

Solaris hangs when Oracle SGA is too large

I am an Oracle DBA with preconfigured Solaris servers. Our Unix admin is outsourced so we don't have a lot of good support here. When I set the instance SGA too large the server hangs and requires a hard reboot It seems that the error is due to insufficient memory or swap. Is this normal behaviour for Solaris 10? Shouldn't the process abend before the server does?

I've managed to duplicate this behavour on two seperate boxes. The first server is quite small only 1G physical memory and the SGA target was set too high. Additionally Oracle was competing with other resources on this box. Still it was surprising to me that the server actually hung. I would have expected to get something like "shared memory realm does not exists" if there was not enough memory.
The second box has 8G physical memory and 4G swap. I set up the oracle /etc/project parameters for this one, here are the kernel settings:
shminfo_shmmni = 256
seminfo_semmni = 128
shminfo_shmmax = 4G
seminfo_semmsl = 256
In this case Solaris hung when I started the database with a 4G MAX_SGA_SIZE, I don't think SGA_TARGET was set. I think the server ran out of swap but I'm still confused because it seems like physical memory should have been available. Also I don't understand why the Oracle instance would have even been using swap because Oracle locks physical memory using ISM or DISM.
In both case the OS hung and could only be revived with a hard reboot.

HELP! Display appears too large for screen!

Weird thing happening... The display on my iPhone for some reason is appearing too large for the screen, as if I zoomed in on the display slightly. I can't figure out a way to fix this.

I updated to the latest software/etc... because I figured that that might resolve the issue. Restarted the phone. Can't fix. Trying to avoid my local Apple store, since it's an absolute mob scene. Any advice?

Update files too large to download.

I have dialup internet and I have tried many times to download the iTunes update. I tried again today and started at 9am. At 5, my internet lost connection for being online for so long (And I only had 43% done) I have given up trying to download updates myself, but is there a way to get discs anywhere to update? If not, this should be an option for people with slower internet connections.

do you have access to a different computer with broadband and a CD burner? if so, download and save a copy of the 5.0 installer to the hard drive of that PC. burn a copy onto a CD-R. take it back to your machine, and copy the installer to the hard drive, and run the installation from there.
(actually, while you're on the other PC, get a copy of the standalone QT 7 installer and the ipod software updater too. neither will take long to download.)

I get this message with downloading video. I gave 2G media card available, and 112M available memory. Is there a way to enable 2 minute video download? Setting?

Every carrier has different download size limitations. Email it to yourself, then download it via your PC and then save it to your media card.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your browser's cache before you try downloading. If it continues to present that error try using a different browser.

My time Machine keeps saying, "Time Machine could not complete the backup. This backup is too large for the backup disk. The backup requires 345.74 GB but only 289.80 are available." I have already excluded files. I have a 1tb external drive. HELP!!!

Oracle 9i Personal Edition Download Problem

Hi there,
I'm currently attempting to download Oracle 9i Personal Edition, however upon clicking on the file link, I'm being constantly presented with the login page (even after having logged in). I checked my browser (MSIE 6) and cookies are enabled. Trying the same procedure for other files yielded the same unsuccessful results. Can anyone help please (my username is [email protected]). Download it again. I had the same problem the first time. It happens when there is a problem in your internet connection. The second time I downloaded it, it worked fine.

Oracle JSP Exception code too large for try block

My jsp is exceeding the memory limit (64KB for Oracle 10g App server i think its the JVM limit),
so it is throwing exception ,code too large for try block,how to over come this,I cant minimize the use of logic tags because it is business requirement.please help me out.

I think you need to give a value to the attribute buffer in the <%@ page%> directive to solve the problem.
There will not be any need of going for pagination then.
buffer="none | 8kb | sizekb"The buffer size in kilobytes used by the out object to handle output sent from the compiled JSP page to the client Web browser. The default value is 8kb. If you specify a buffer size, the output is buffered with at least the size you specified.
