Help! Order of photos in a Folder does not match order of albums

I have seen dozens of threads on folders and albums, sorting them etc. However did not quite find an answer to this one.
The question is : Why the order of photos in a Folder does not match with the order of Albums I have created underneath the Folder?
In other words I created a floder and placed within the folder a few albums we will call G, K, C ...etc in the chronological order in which I want to show the pictures. The pictures within the album are not strictly chronological. ( I will explain more if this is an issue)
Next when I click on the Folder, I notice that the photos are grouped by the corresponding Album which is what they should be, however their(photos) order did not correspond to that of the Albums. In other words, in the Folder view, I see photos of K first and then may be G and then may be C. I am not able to change that order to G, K, C..the way I want. This will mess up the slideshow for me.
For clarity, I created each album simply by dragging corresponding event down into the Folder. The events are sorted by date and ascending in View>Sort Events.

Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto, reset its preferences and try the slideshow again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

Check your footage interpretation, split the audio in an external program, convert the sample rate and import it separately or whatever. Most likely you simply have used unsuitable recording settings with odd sample and data rates.

Folder Does Not Match Hardrive

I am trying to understand why my folders on my extermal hard drive do not match the folders in Lightroom. On my hardrive I have all the photos organized in folders and subfolders, but on lightroom all the folders are in alphabetical order, which makes it hard for me to find the folder I want. How do I get these to match?
Also I have 349 missing photos according to Lightroom, how do I reimport them to Lightroom?

Firstly folders are how files are organised on you computers operating system. With LR you use collections to organise images once imported, you can then forget about folders. LR shows the folders you have imported from and it does this in alphabetical order. Personally speaking I never even bother looking at the folder system in LR these days, I just import files into date folders in one location on a hard drive (backing these files up to a separate location) and from then on use LR to organise my images.
When a file or folder is shown as missing, this mean you have moved the file from the location it was in when imported into the LR catalog using the OS rather than LR. LR no longer knows where the original file is, until you tell it. To do this right click on the missing folder or file and select relocate missing file or folder and then tell LR where the folder or file now is. The LR catalog retains the data of any changes you make to a file in the catalog, but it does need to know where that file is if you wish to actually apply any of the changes and export a derivative file.
Never attempt to re import a file already in the catalog. You can create lots of problems for yourself by having the same file referenced in the catalog more than once.
Read the support manual and view a few of the basic tutorials accessed by the on line help part of your help menu in LR to understand how LR works. It is a database not a file browser and deals with files in a very different (and once you are used to it a far more sophisticated and usable way) than the traditional file browsing systems in OS's.

The number of photos in an event does not match between iPhoto and iTunes

Not sure what's up but the number of photos in one of my events in iPhoto is 19 but on iTunes it shows (and syncs) as only 9.
Any ideas?

Count and size of photos in iTunes does not match what is on my iPhone

I have 2 different iPhone 6 phones. For each of them, the number of photos on the phone does not match the number of photos shown in iTunes. For example, one of my iPhones has fewer than 400 photos; however, when I connect the phone to iTunes on my computer, the usage bar at the bottom shows that there are more than 2500 photos accounting for 2.5GB. I suspect that iTunes is including photos that I have deleted from my phone. Are the additional 2100 "phantom photos" actually taking up space on my phone, and what can I do to make iTunes match what is actually on my phone?

You can see photo stream photos on icloud.com. You can only see them on an iOS device or computer that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled. If you want to see them on the web, you would have to add the photos to a shared stream using the public website option enabled (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99). This gives you a private url allowing you to view them from any computer browser.

i put the code creating the folder in comment and put your code in place, i also put your function before the function creating file.
With the base code (without modification) photoshop is able to create my folder assets, but when it try to export the png, it export nothing, so i have a empty folder.

Get an Error window, The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files

I am using CS2 and it would not open up my latest RAW files, I was getting a warning Could not complete your request because it is not the right kinds of document. So, I checked the Camera Raw Plug-in and it says Version 3.7. I see that my camera an Olympus E-20 is supported. But it is not opening the Raw files, the day before I took jpeg and they have opened. I will not trash my Adobe Photoshop CS2 because it was a royal pain to install and I don't know where the CD is.
I installed the latest DNG Converter and when I try to open up the folder which has all the RAW images that didn't open in Adobe, I still get an Error window that says, "The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files." Why? It says it supports my Olympus E-20. I actually have the E-20n, I don't think that is the problem. My RAW icons usually show up as small image thumbnails and this time they are gray icons only with the incorrect date under the icon. Is there another product I can use without spending money? These images I took in RAW were special and I don't want to lose them. Please help!

Hello, I was using only CS2 with my Olympus E-20n for 5 years, no problem. It just started acting up in RAW this year. I downloaded Picasa that same day and now it seems to be opening up all of my RAW files that didn't open the other day. So, I think Picasa installed a new plug-in adaption to CS2 because now all my RAW icons have a new logo on them, the same one that's in Picasa. Strange, but it works now and I am not complaining anymore. I love CS2 and the many ways I can adjust RAW files, so I am using it, Picasa is a sideline now that I can take a look at many thumbnails and it organized all my photo files by the year and folders. Amazing free software. I have probably 60,000 images in my computer and an external hard drive and Picasa picked them all up and made a library, cool.

Did you try to build the application (Project->Build in Visual Studio) ? If the error doesn't go away then and you have no other compilation errors (if you do you need to fix these first), you should replace "FolderExplorer" with the namespace
in which the Folder class resides. If you haven't explicitly declared a namespace, you will find the name of the default namespace under Project->Properties->Root namespace. Copy the value from this text box to your XAML:
xmlns:my="clr-namespace:FolderExplorer"
The default namespace is usually the same as the name of the application by default so if your application is called "FolderExplorer" you should be able to build it.
If you cannot make it work then please upload a reproducable sample of your issue to OneDrive and post the link to it here for further help.
