  • Help - Outlook Client Crashing

Appologies if this has appeared before, but I am not an expert at using these forums. My Outlook (2003, all service packs), on XP Pro (all service packs), is crashing after about 6 or seven hours after the desktop redirector is activated. It might transmit 30 to 40 messages, and then in a send/ receive cycle, simple hang (outlook only, the redirector is still running). This does not happen with the redirector service off. I am using desktop software version 4.5.0.15 and redirector version 3.6.0.68. I have never had any kind issue with outlook until i have installed and activate the redirector software.
I cannot use the internet service as i have several incoming email addresses i need sent to my phone
    Please help?

If I was a mind reader I could answer your problem in an instant. but since I'm not You are going to need to supply more information. What OS? What computer? for starters. does the problem persist in a new user?

  • Outlook 2010 APPCRASH wwlib.dll !!HELP!!

having a huge problem, tried everything I could find and think of personally to no avail. I send an email from my business email address on outlook (yes, with a signature) and the moment I click send the app crashed and restarts (loosing the email I was writing).
Only on new emails, when I save the draft beforehand, I am able to send the draft after restarting the program. Replies work just fine as well. I have error checked the PST and the OST, uninstalled MS OFFICE, REINSTALLED, changed the dll file to 'old' and
repaired office, as well as disabled each of my plain jane add ons one at a time to no avail.
Im lost and really need help, this problem costs me money daily. I am however able to send the same email once I restart the program as long as I saved it as a draft I can send it that way.  PLEASE HELP

send emails without Outlook immediately crashing.  Event log reported this same error pointing to OUTLOOK.EXE & wwlib.dll.
It is probably related to the signature file.  Outlook might only be attaching the sig to new emails and not replies or forwards.
Try creating a new one or just recreate the existing signature.
We ran outlook in safe mode.
scanned the .pst with scanPST tool.
turned off ALL of the add-ins, and removed a couple of them completely.
backed out the recent MS updates.
Uninstalled some unsupported apps that had been installed.
    created new profile in Outlook.
Followed advise from Technet,  MSDN, and SpiceWorks forums.
cleared out temp files in App Data under his user profile directory.
Ran CCleaner and cleared out more temps.
    upgraded to Office 2013
ULTIMATE FIX was recreate the sig.

  • How do I set up my e-mail so that it doesn't delete it from Outlook?

When I read and delete my e-mail on my iPad, it also deletes it from my Outlook account.  How do I set it so tha it does not delete it from Outlook?

Most people like it when mail syncs across all devices, but it appears you want to set up your mail account on your iPad as a POP account.  I found this link, which may help you:

     Hi
    zhenyun,
Sorry for Late reply, if you are still facing same
issue then you should go for some kind of auto refresh plug-in or Add-in. After a bit search on Google, I found some of them called
    “Zoho” and “Vtiger”.
As I am not much sure about this Add-in, you have to read about
its functionally first by visiting given link.

  • SWITCH IDENTITY IN OUTLOOK EXPRESS WITH OS9.2.2 -Disaster...... ?

    Hi everyone -
I applied Switch Indentity on Outlook Express 5 in my G4 OS9.2.2 and all my Address Book content disappeared. I can't get it back and don't know how to reverse the choice. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether or not I can. In any case, now that I've done the damage, what exactly does swiltch ildentity really do for us...... ?
    Ron

    Hi, Ron -
When you invoke Switch Identity you enter a new account, one with its own set of email archives, Address book, etc. You should be able to switch back by using Switch Identity and selecting Main Identity (that's the name given to the original, default account).
If you upgraded Outlook Express from an earlier version, such as a v. 4 version, it may have been stillusing account information in the program's folder. But, when you switched accounts, it may have created the new one in the folder the later versions of OE use, and won't go back.
If the latter is the case, you can move your old account info from the Identities folder in the OE program folder to the new location. OE 5 expects to have those files here - (hard drive) >> Documents >> Microsoft User Data >> Identities. In the Identities folder should be at least one folder, named Main Identity - that's the default account. Each additional account should be contained in an additional folder, typically named Account 1, Account 2, etc.
It helps Outlook Express a lot if you increase its Preferred memory allocation - adding 20 or 30 thousand, or even more, to the original Preferred amount is not excessive.

  • Outlook Archive not working in 2010/2013 versions

    Hello,
I have a few users who are having some problems with their archives. They are not able to see them in their Outlook Desktop Applications, but they are visible on the OWA. I work for a university and all of this started happening after they upgraded their system
to 2013. I am trying to figure out if this is something I can fix from the users PC's or if I have to take it up the chain.
    Thank you!
Sorry if this was not super specific, I will answer any questions you have to narrow down the issue.

    Hi,
Let’s begin with the following article:
    http://www.msoutlook.info/question/523
As the above suggestion, online archiving feature only works with specific versions of Outlook.  Specifically, it works with versions of Outlook that come from volume licensing and not with versions purchased through retail.
Thus, we can try to check the Outlook version:

  • Outlook 2013 can't connect to Exchange 2013 SP1

    Hello,
I've already asked that question on Exchange 2013, now I'd like to ask it again in regard to Exchange 2013 SP1.
The question i s very easy: suppose I have just installed Exchange 2013 SP1 (in a Win2012 R2 domain)  with three mailboxes (user1, user2, user3). I can successfully run ecp and owa for all users...
...but when I'm starting Outlook 2013 and trying to set up a profile manually, for example, [email protected], Exchange 2013 Sp1 keeps saying "Outlook can't log on...The name cannot be resolved."
In Exchange 2013 this could be fixed by adding the server's ip address to its Hosts file, but I thought it was a bug and it would be corrected later or sooner... Now the same problem with Exchange 2013SP1...
Would anybody please tell me is there anything special I must do to connect to Exchange 2013SP1 via Outlook 2013 (not Outlook 2013SP1 - without MAPI over HTTP)??? If yes what articles can I read about it?
    Thank you in advance,
    Michael

    Hi,
When we automatically configure the account, Autodiscover service will help Outlook find the new type and we don't need to run the command to get the mailbox GUID until we manually configure the profile.
For more information, you can refer to the following article:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124251(v=exchg.150).aspx
"Through the Autodiscover service, Outlook finds a new connection point made up of the user’s mailbox GUID + @ + the domain portion of the user’s primary SMTP address."

  • How do I automatically print emails in outlook?

    Hello,
I recently starting using Microsoft outlook again for emails.  I am not very competent in how it works just yet, however, I would like to know if there was a way I can set up incoming email to automatically print when I am out of the office.  I
tried to create a new rule, but there was not an option for automatically printing incoming emails.  Maybe someone can help me figure out what I need to do to make this happen.
    Thank you,

While this is informative, it does not really help me much.   I am using the web browser outlook, not the good old fashion outlook express that was its own entity.

The Share Point server is running SP 2010 SP2 and the Exchange server is EX 2007 SP 3 I am not sure what roll up. it looks like their is a permissions issue.  But could it be permissions with in SP or EX?  You help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi  ,
Towards the public folder permission issue, there are two permissions included, one is for the server side permission; the other one is for the client side permission.
There are some links for your reference:

To use Outlook Web App Web Parts, you must, at a minimum, be delegated "Reviewer" access to the content that you're opening. If you've embedded an Outlook Web App Web Part that requires authentication into
an application, you must pass authentication information through together with the request for the Web Part.

  • Outlook 2010 calendar invites - duplicate recipients

Have a client with Outlook 2010, she’s finding many of the Outlook invitations on her calendar have multiple copies of the same recipients.
This user's calendar is opened on multiple computers - running Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010.
I’m trying to reproduce this issue reliably, but not having luck yet. Tried creating an invitation, moving the time, but couldn’t get issue to occur.
    Has anyone run into this?

    Hello,
What Anjula meant to say was there are no updates that corrects the issue you are having nor are there any "Solution in the works". From Time to time we have made changes to Calendar work flow that enhances calendar performance. So its advisable that we have
clients at the latest Service packs and updates available. I don't think there will be any new changes to the work flow in the near future. Its best advised that you have the latest updates installed for Office. You can install the updates from here.
953878 Cumulative updates are available from the Microsoft Office team to fix reported problems
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;953878
To troubleshoot this issue. We can do the following
    > For manager Delegate scenarios its best advised to have a similar version of Outlook client.
    > we can review permissions assigned on the calendar. Change that or remove delegates to see if there is any impact.
    > Disable mobile device usage etc to narrow down the issue.

  • ICloud update 3.0.1 40 has removed my sync buttons in Outlook 2007. I run it as admin but the add in is "unloaded" and will not install :-(

I am about to get a nervous break down from this. FINALLY I got my 2 iP5 and my 2 Win7/Outlook 2007 PC's to work and sync together. This latest update did remove that add in and it's impossible to install / load it. Tried as an admin but of course no result. I hate this so much that I am glad I don't meet any of you Microsoft or Apple guys who produce this updates. WHY NOT DO A BETTER JOB?

I have now got my "buttons" back ("Refresh iCloud" & "Notifications"), but in spite of that my shared calendar does not sync the events I insert in my PC Outlook 2007 to my other 3 devices.
Events between my 2 iPhones (iP5/OS 7.0.4) work fine, even with my other Win7 PC.
All was fine until I updated my iCloud a week ago... :-(
I have now - as an admin in Outlook - under Tools/Trust Center/Add ins activated the iCloud Add-in, so it is not any longer Deactivated (?)
Under Help / Outlook 2007 - under Disabled Items the add-in is now removed. It was there even after it had been removed from the Trust Centers Disabled Items..
This is honestly the most stupid way of using nice time (thank god it's raining today and my golf was cancelled.. )

  • Outlook does not sync with Office 365

I am having issues with 3 "newly" created account on Office 365 with Outlook 2013.
    Office 365 Accounts
    All 3 accounts are new
All 3 had not have any emails imported
All accounts on the same domain etc etc
    Outlook 2013
Running in Windows 7/8 with EXCHANGE mode (not IMAP or POP)
It syncs initially, then does not send or
sync anything (ie. emails, contacts, calendars, tasks etc)
Account cache of between 3-24 months - none works
Tried with Cache disabled - still persistent
Tried Outlook in Safe Mode - no difference
Outlook 2013 is FRESH Win7x64 install on a PC WITHOUT any Office - still same
Outlook 2013 on existing Win8x64 - same result
It is NOT an OST error as all 3 are NEW accounts and newly created OST
Tried that Outlook debugger website with 13 methods to try - still the same
    Outlook 2011 (Mac)
Created new Identity - works perfectly
Emails, Contacts, Calendars and Tasks all synchronise properly
I remember Microsoft used to make Microsoft products work with each other fantastic OOB - why does it work on a Mac but not on a Windows PC?

This is very frustrating, I cannot seem to get the Exchange Server as the "About" is no longer available, and I cannot get the Exchange GUID via Powershell:
I have found that my mailbox seems to be linked to: pod51057.outlook.com
Tried a manual to that name and get an infinite Username/Password loop - dead end.
Tried to connect via PowerShell: http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/cc952755.aspx
However I was getting errors, but got it working and got the Mailbox ID:

I entered this details into Outlook and the following error appears:
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be

Bad English syntax! Wouldnt have mind, but Outlook still does not work, so re-opened and oddly it worked!

  • Cannot get Outlook Connector work Communication Express style

We are using Sun Messaging server with Communication Express, Outlook Connector, Imap Clients.
And we have problems saving SENT items in one style. Both - IMAP clients and Communication Express works correctly - they saves sent items into folder named "SENT", but I cannot get Outlook Connector work the same way.
I have installed outlook connector (Product Version: 7.3-05.01), and configured it to set system folder names "Communication Express style".
I have set my local file:
    C:\DOCUME~1\<user>\LOCALS~1\Application Data\Sun\Outlook Connector\sjoc_folders.map
    content to:
    [en]
    INBOX=Inbox
    Deleted Items=Trash
    Drafts=Drafts
    Sent Items=SentDoes this goes somewhere?
But nothing helps - Outlook 2007 still uses its own SENT ITEMS folder iwth this name and saves sent items in this folder.

    Hi,
Does the issue happen to all users, internal users or external users? What about OWA? Does it still work?
If OWA can work normally, please try to use ping to test both the Exchange Server FQDN and the IP address of the Exchange Server.
If OWA cannot work either, please collect some Event logs or error message/code
     for further troubleshooting.
Additionally, here is a related KB that may be helpful:
