HELP Past Due Plan on a never activated line ... please

I feel terrible about a situation which involves my cell plan especially since I very much like Verizon Wireless considering its the only option apart from US Cellular in our area.
Anyway ... I thought everything was cleared up until I am getting hit with a plan past due which says it is $900 ... what the ?? It breaks a little piece of me inside because I do not have that full amount plus I never activated the line in question. I returned the line / phone to Wirefly who in turn hit me with there own fees.
I never used ths phone in question. I always pay my Verizon bill that I currently have so this upsets me. Due to the past due coming from the other line which I never used I am not able to update my current plan. Wirefly went and made a whole new plan when I stated online it was an Add a Line , the phone in question was returned tho' because it was not needed anymore as the person changed there mind about being on the plan. So, it was never activated ... how could they be charging for this ??
I do hope this is making sense. $900 for a phone never used is quite steep. This is coming from collections from Verizon Wireless for some reason tho' it was never activated.

I paid the outrageous fee to Wirefly even after they had said to me that I would not be charged then turn around and charge me.
The $900 is coming from Verizon collections because for some reason they think I have a whole new plan due to what Wirefly did instead of adding a line.

  • Past Due - anyone heard of them, help me they are ...

    Hello I have just come back after a lovely spa break to receive in a brown hand written envelope a note from Past Due saying I owe BT money for a property I lived in 2 years ago, I have checked and I do not..... has anyone heard of these people and/or can advise me what to do as they are threatening to send people round.I am a very upset bunkin

    Hi belladabunkins and welcome
    If I'm honest, I've never heard of them up until you posted.
    Anyway a quick search gives what could be their website - http://www.pastduecredit.co.uk/
    (The above link does have a contact section - I'd use a disposable email address if I had to contact them but it's up to you).
    How did you check?
    I'd email the BT forum mods to see if they can check if any outstanding monies are owed to BT. Their email address is [email protected] (provide your name, account number, address at the time and a contact number). I can't say if they can help, but it's worth a go IMO.
    If it transpires that you do owe BT and you feel that you can't pay the outstanding balance, contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau ASAP for guidance - http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/
    Hope this helps - post back with any news.

  • "Past Due - Will be installed", but the app never tries to install

    I have gone over the existing threads and found none that fit my situation. Here is what I know:
    The deadline has passed with a status of Past due - will be installed.
    The deployment is targeted to a computer collection.
    If I manually start the install, it works fine (no failures in the .exe or install process).
    Running Application Deployment Evaluation cycle does not help.
    The content is sitting in the ccmcache folder ready to go.
    Resultant client settings show that "Additional software manages the deployment of applications and software updates" is not checked, so an errant client setting is not to blame.
    AppEnforce.log shows no update since the application was discovered. Nothing else is popping out as a red flag in the AppIntentEval or AppDiscovery logs.
    Rebooting did not help (sometimes pending reboots seem to get in the way.
    Any ideas? This has been consistent problem in our environment, to the point that telling clients they can set up a required deployment sounds like I am not giving them the whole story.

    Resultant client settings show that "Additional software manages the deployment of applications and software updates" is not checked, so an errant client setting is not to blame.
    He has not enabled that.

  • Collection agency keeps renewing past due account please help

    Hello everyone.  I have a collection agency ERC that first showed on all 3 of my credit reports back when i pulled a report in 2010.  At that time, ERC (acting on behalf of Sprint) was reporting a collection account opened 12/1/2008 with a balance of $2,076.  A partial account number is provided 157XXXXXX.  I have never spoken to anyone regarding this. Fast forward to last month when i decided i wanted to really fix up my credit.  I pulled my credit reports again and it shows ERC still BUT only this time it shows "plced for collections 12/30/2014, for $2,104 and a different partial account number #11741XXX. My question is, since i never spoke to them ackoqwleding even the orginal debt, how can they restart the collection clock?  It's now showing a possible 2019 deletion date on an account that was placed for collections in 2008 which i NEVER acknowledged! Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

    fcf313 wrote:
    Yes the account was mine, but grossly inflated. I thought If at anytime after an account is first placed into collections and on your report if you acknowledge that debt it restarts the reporting time clock.Depending on the state the SOL can be extended based on, usually a written acknowledgement, but that does not change the DOFD, I can't speak with certainty how this affects you but I have some experience in research, this thread I believe speaks directly to your point: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Rebuilding-Your-Credit/quot-The-law-limits-how-long-you-can-be-sued-on-a-debt-quot/td-p/1891703/page/2 There are two aspects: the exclusion time period i.e. how long it can be reported which I beleive is 7 years plus 180 days from the DOFD that preceded the original CO/deliquency. Then there is the actionable aspect of sueing you for said debt which I beleive is governed by the SOL previously mentioned AND the admittance that the debt is yours that would be used in court to prove thier case. This is why you do not want to admit the debt is yours as you would loose your case before it started, but if you choose to pay the debt prior to being sued than it is not relevant. Paying debts that are yours is one thing, which you should do, admitting guilt and thus incrimintating yourself you are under no obligation to do, legally or otherwise. everyone know that standard comment: "I, John Doe, refuse to answer on the grounds that I may incriminate myself"

  • Can someone (ANYONE!) Please tell me why my account still has a $299 past due balance?

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in early November I received my new iPhone 6 Plus on the Edge plan.
    There was no return label in the box, so I contacted support and a label was shipped to me in a couple of days.
    I sent the old iPhone 5 back in the box with that return label within the 14 day recommended period and went on with my life.
    It is now December 29th, over two months after you (Verizon Edge) received my old phone (I tracked it) and the $299 charge is STILL on my account!
    I spent over an hour in the store near my home on December 15th and was assured by the store employee that Verizon Edge HAD received my phone but that financials were backed up and it might take a few more days for the charge to be removed from my account.
    Meanwhile, I had been receiving 3-4 annoying automated calls per day from you saying to pay my past due bill.
    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
    Last week, my service was suspended for.... you guessed it!.... non payment of the past due amount!
    I immediately called customer service AGAIN and had to ask to speak to a supervisor after the CSR I first talked to said she couldn't help me.
    The supervisor put me on hold, then came on the line and said he had verified that you HAD received my phone.
    He put my account on an equipment hold (so that I wouldn't get shut off again) and AGAIN assured me that the charge would soon be off my account.
    Guess what?!?!?!?!
    The $299 charge is still there!
    I have been a customer for over 15 years and have never had my phone shut off for non-payment or any other reason.
    I want the $299 charge off my bill NOW.
    And if this shows up on my credit report (and I check it regularly!) as a late or non-payment situation, I am contacting your legal department and I am going to sue Verizon Wireless for pain and suffering, stress, financial hardship, and anything else my lawyer can think of to add.
    PLEASE resolve this issue today.

        Hi Julz32!
    I don't like waiting either! Have you received any confirmation about the trade in? Please contact our Trade in department at 877-247-3846 by phone, or [email protected]  by email for a resolution.
    Thanks!

  • Has anyone been charged a past due on very first bill

    I am going crazy nuts with what I'm being charged I get my phone on the very last day of feb.7days later I'm told my bill is past due,how can that be Ive only been with their company one week,this is just the begining.ive been with verizon for 2 monthy I'm still being charged way tooooo much with the plan I have my bill as I was told and even on line it comes up with taxs and everything to 115.00 but mine is at 300.00,I did return the jack pack the same day I got it so that i would not be chargee the early termination charge I was charged for the service and every thing that goes with it.and I was told i would get credit for it still being on my phone and I was given credit My bill I payed in full was 29.88 I had a nice zero balance for three days the on the forth day up pops a bill for the amount of 288.00 with a past due of 181.00 this is insane I,m on ssi and have to buget everythingthis is way too much almost 700.00 in less than three monthsb  Help ive talked to several supervisors not a single one of them has the same answer this last one says its an earl termination charge ok so remove it I returned the device the sameday I got it the policy says to return within 10 days i didnt even wait one day and I didnt evn open it. I am not stupid but I am going insane with billing.

    Just a big guess here. when you get service you are charged a device activation fee of I think $30, then there is prorate service for the time you get service till your bill date. Then there is service in advance and if you were within the 14 day return period you will still get a $35 restocking fee and if you sent it back via shipper service the charge for the device will be included.
    Since I don't know what plan you purchased or devices other than the hotspot I cannot say what other charges there are on your invoice. I would either go to My Verizon http://www.verizonwireless.com and register fir the web portal and view your bill, and then call *611 from your cell or 800-922-0204 and speak to billing and have them break the invoice down.
    There are also taxes and fees each month so that is something else to add to your invoice.
    Good Luck

  • Interested in bringing Past Due forecast from MRP Forecast Sets to ASCP

    We are on 12.1.3 (EBS and ASCP) and are interested in bringing a week of past due forecast from MRP Forecast set into ASCP. We are running EDD plan.
    Following have been enabled but no luck yet, open to suggestions or explanations.
    1. Include Past Due Forecast = 5
    2. Spread Forecast Evenly = checked (as we are in weekly buckets)
    3. Demand Time Fence control = checked on plan options
    4. Item are enabled for Demand Time Fence days = 0
    5. Complete Collections and Plan have been ran.
    Observation - Since the week start date is on Monday, when the plan ran from Tuesday, it brings the forecast for current week from Tuesday of that week onwards breaking into days. But it doesn't bring in forecast for Monday or prior week days.
    Per ASCP guide, Include Past Due Forecast is useful only in case of Oracle Demand Planning.
    Any help in this regards is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Need to suspend account that is past due. I am overseas and will be for a while.

    Hello,
    Verizon support, please contact me through this or my email. My account is currently past due and is accruing charges. My family and myself have been in South Korea since June of 2014. I am in the military and stationed overseas. We plan on being here until the summer of 2016.
    I need to suspend the account and fix the payments that have been piling up for a service I am not using.
    I do not have access to twitter or face book.
    Please respond soonest. Time is a luxury I do not have. As a commander of Soldiers overseas, I typically spend over 80 hours a week at work, am on call 24/7, and spend weeks at a time with no access to communications. If I do not have a response in the next 20 hours, you will not get a response from me until around 23 February, I will be away from any access to communications.
    Thank you for any support rendered.

    First and foremost, thank you for your commitment to our country and my freedom.  I am grateful for you as well as all of the other military hero's serving home and away.
    Now, would you happen to have someone state side that could help you with this situation?  Maybe get a copy of your orders to them and they can help you get this taken care of?  As Ann mentioned, you'll still be responsible for charges already incurred but at least you can help put a stop the future charges.  The VZW reps don't always chime in and even if/when they do, they don't always respond in a timely manner.  Your best bet would find a friend or relative in the states that would act on your behalf to get this taken care of.  Unfortunately, I wouldn't put much hope into getting your situation resolved here on the forums.

  • Past-due notice without an original bill

    I recently transferred liability of my previous account to mine and my fiancé's names.  When we transferred liability, we were made to understand that the account was a continuation of the previous one.  Then we received a past due notice in the mail, a month and a half after we had switched.  The past due notice said there was a remaining balance on our previous account.  However we never received an initial bill nor can we access the previous account online. We had no idea there was a remaining balance.
    The first two customer service agents I spoke with tried to be helpful but they could not fully explain what the charges were for and why we had received a past due notice.  I was transferred to another agent who tried to explain again but could not provide me with a break-down of charges between the two accounts.  I told her I am concerned that we were double charged and that we never received an initial bill.  She said there was nothing she could do about it, that the bill must have been lost in the mail.  This is unacceptable, if there was no way for my fiancé and I to know about the bill (or to know what the bill is charging for), then we should not be held accountable for it.

    Transferring a line over I am assuming Assumption of Liability?
    If your fiance had the account and did not pay the last invoice from that line then it is still owed. The old account could have been paid since he knew the closing date and the monthly amount owed.
    Now 1.5 months later you still have not paid the account you now have, and still owe for the other account and you are questioning the charges. Pay the invoice or go into a verizon wireless corporate store and have them get a print out copy of both old and new accounts. Then pay the bill. Its that easy.
    Lost in the mail is no excuse for not paying the bill. The amount is normally the same each month. +/- a few cents.
    Do it now before you have no service, and bad credit marks at the three credit bureaus. If you ever get married you may want a home, a car, a boat or a big ticket item. Which if a bad mark, you will not be able to get.
    Good Luck

  • Past due - will be installed

    Hi all,
    we've been setting up app-deployment using SCCM 2012, and are going in to production in about a month. Now, we have a major problem.
    None of the required apps are installing. They're simply stuck at "Past due - will be installed".
    Indeed they are past due (all deployments are set to install as soon as possible), but absolutely nothing is happening (no it's not a matter of waiting, it's a dead halt). If we click 'install all required', everything installs perfectly. But obviously that's
    not an option.
    The appenforce.log doesn't seem to be doing anything either; and it's not a problem with access to install source either; since all apps download fine, and THEN go into 'Past due...'.
    I've also tried scheduling it to a time in the future, and then it just goes 'will be installed at (xx)' and once the deadline passes, it's 'past due' again.
    So in summary; absolutely nothing is happening; and we've gone over the setup a million times, everything seems to be correct. We've also tried installing the agent on a clean (non-deployed) machine; virtual machines and with and without bitlocker. No difference.
    We are seriously stuck. Help! :)

    Bah, I don't have Reporting Services installed. Will check that.

  • Software Updates - Past Due - Will be Installed

    I've got a major problem that I need help with asap.  All of our software updates are coming on the clients as "Past Due - Will be Installed".  This just started happening this week out of nowhere.  Application deployments and package
    deployments work fine, it's only with software updates.  I've recreated deployments, recreated software update groups and deployment packages and such.
    Everything online points to a in Client Settings that is "Agent extension manage the deployment of applications and software updates", but that is set to false and has never changed.  Again this is only for software updates, not for anything
    else.  We're using System Center 2012 R2, HELP!

    Are your software updates groups deployed?
    Can you post a screen shot of the message from one of the clients?

    I appreciate the reply, I'm in a major bind right now.  Here is the screenshot

  • Basic functions (high) in query formula for highest # of days past due

    Hi All,
    I hope you can help.  I am trying to create a formula in a query for FIAR Line Item Cube (0fiar_c03).  I would like to calculate the hightest number of days past due for open line items.  There is an operator 'high' in basic functions within the query formula.  Is it possible to use this?
    Regards,
    Cheryl Adamonis

    There is a workaround usind conditions.That is you can try to filter the top 10 % or top 10 after calculating the no of days past.However this way you will not be displaying complete dataset

  • Past due PurRqs are getting deleted in APO but not getting deletd in R3

    Hi folks,
    We have a daily job, which runs at 18:00 hrs in the evening everyday in the APO Production System.The job is to delete all past due Purchase Requisitions for last 2 years (job & variant details are mentioned below) All the past due PurRqs are getting deleted from APO, which we have cross-cheked in RRP3 view many times.
    However the same is not getting deleted in R3 systems. The planner/end- user is getting confused & hassled by this list of old PurRqs which is visible in R3 through MD04 t-code.
    Please suggest remedial/corrective actions to get this issue sorted.
    The job details for the deletion of past purchase requisitions.
    The job is run with the following variant details:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ABAP Program name :/SAPAPO/RLCDELETE
    Fixed Order (ticked)
    Period = 14.03.2009 to 14.03.2011 {All PurRqs in these period shouldget deleted in APO as well as R3}
    Do you run the CCR on a daily basis. If so do you see the "reqs missing in R/3" in the CCR ?
    Also what is your transfer setting ? Meaning the transfer from APO to R/3 configuration  - is it immediate or change pointer based ? check that also
    Thanks
    I have been with Verizon since 1995 (I was an employee for years). I attempted to upgrade 2 of the 4 lines on our account today, but couldn't. We have an outstanding balance (though we have received no past due notice via mail, email, or text and make regular payments every month) that I would love to pay, but our bank account number was stolen, so we can't access our account until Monday. Because we were unable to pay our outstanding balance, we were told we can't order the phones today during the special promotion (that ends today). No one can help us, though we have no way of doing anything until Monday when our bank reopens and can reimburse us for the money that was stolen from us. No one in customer service can help us (they can't process the order but not ship until after we make payment on Monday, they won't honor today's promotion on Monday due to our special circumstance, nothing). They stated that "corporate" makes the rules and they have no idea how I can reach corporate to discuss the matter. Without the promotion, we will be charged full price for the phones on Monday, which will cost us an additional $300.00. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
    I hope that you aren't complaining about dropped calls INSIDE your condo because no amount of switching or upgrading devices will solve that.
    VZW will not guarantee service inside of any structure. There are just too many factors. If the problem is inside then you might want to look at one of the following:
    1.) Network Extender (may cause issues for others in a condo or apartment style setting)
    2.) A Google Voice Number (Free with a Gmail email address), downloading Google Hangouts Dialer and forwarding your calls to the GVN so that you can make and receive calls over Wi-Fi.
