Help...people picker control does not recognize outlook formated bulk users

Hello,
Currently out of the box people picker control provides a textbox, User validity icon and a find user book. If there are bulk of users from outlook and paste it, the SharePoint control does not recognize user and cant find bulk
users in the find book directory all at once(need to find user details one at a time) , so I was told to hide the user directory icon and link. Will you please suggest me to on how to hide directory icon? is there a way using JavaScript or Jquery to hide?
Otherwise if there is a way to directly transfer bulk of users from outlook into SharePoint people control works great.
multiple users allowed in sharepoint people picker control however it does not support outlook format in SharePoint people picker.. such as
'abc, xyz <a href="mailto:[email protected]>' ;  efg, pqr <">[email protected]>' ;  efg, pqr <[email protected]>
Can anyone suggest me to hide the finder link & image? also to add bulk of users directly from outlook?
Thanks

Nobody has anwered. I have solution and done myself to hide and manage controls on SharePoint list. Key thing here is to map the jquery library correctly and specific version.
Hope this helps at least others and can overcome difficulties I have undergone
Here is the Javascript:
<script type="text/javascript" src=".../jquery-1.3.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){$('a').each(function(){if($(this).attr('title') == "Check Names")$(this).hide();});});
</script>

I know there are people who can and many who cannot, never saw a resolution yet, I hope someone who can will reply to your post so that is why I am replying this sends your post back up to the top. Here is a recent user who can but does have a issue: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Link/Duplicate-Calendar-Entries/td-p/3108949 I wish I could do more but I do not use Outlook or BB Link.

  • IPhoto does not recognize Tiff format

I am trying to import my photos in TIFF ext however I get a response from iPhoto that it does not recognize the format.
    What I am doing wrong?
    thank You!

Did this test in the begging, and it doies not give me the option to create a new library.... : /
Then you're not holding the correct key or not holding it long enough while launching.
But I could import all to Aperture and then from iPhoto import the pictures......however when in the iPhoto library they have been "converted" to JPEG file and lost all quality...the same picture in Aperture (TIFF) has 36MB   while in the iPhoto after I imported 684KB!!
You need to understand how to use Aperture. You're getting the Aperture Previews, not the original files.

  • Latest iTunes Setup Does Not Recognize Outlook 2010

I recently had to put in a new HDD in my Dell Laptop (WinXP Pro) and just finished installing iTunes v10.1.1.4 but in trying to setup a sync with my iPhone 3GS (which has all my music, contacts, calendars etc.), iTunes does not seem to find my new installation of MS Office Pro 2010...more specifically, Outlook 2010.
Is there something I'm missing in terms of getting iTunes to recognize that I have Outlook 2010 installed so I can sync my iPhone to my laptop?
    Thanks for your help.

    Greetings.
I am using the 32-bit version of Outlook 2010 on my Win7 64-bit system. I had no problems with MobileMe and I thought (that is what I get for thinking) the migration would be somewhat painless.  Not the case.  I see the adin for iCloud in Outlook and it is enabled, however, iCloud does not see Outlook 2010.  Trying to follow HELP at Apple, is like a dog chasing it's tail.  Round and round with no answers.

Win 7 64bit. Outlook 2010.  Open iCloud control and all items refering to Outlook are not selectable.  What have I missed? The [email protected] was added to Outlook.  Can receive and send mail.  Unable to sync calendars/task, contacts or mail.
    Thank you.

  • Desktop manager does not recognize Outlook 2003.

    Hello everyone,
We have an Exchange server but use POP3 accounts individually on the users also.
I have installed this software (desktop manager) many times with other clients and never had an issue.
On this particular user using Blackberry 9550 v5.0.0.713 I have installed and then uninstalled desktop manager 6.0 because it saw that we had Exchange and automatically assumed Enterprise Server was present, when I chose not to use Enterprise account, it did not see Outlook as a choice to synchronize with.
I then removed 6.0 removed user settings, restarted and installed Desktop Mangager 5.01 sp1.  I chose the option for personal mail.  The synchronize configuration still does not list Outlook as a choice to configure.
Has anyone else run into this?
I found a post that said to make sure that Wireless Sync is off and it is.
    Help please,
    Jeanne

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Have you tried performing a detect in repair in Microsoft Outlook?
For more information about Detect and Repair: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02403
After you perform this step, then try to setup the synchronization.

  • Iphoto will no longer recognize my camera, says it does not recognize the format....they are jpegs? And now it will not even open when I plug my Canon Eos Camera in to download. I have checked everything on the camera and it is working perfectly....

Iphoto will no longer open when attaching my Canon Eos Camera. I have checked the camera and everything is working perfecty. When I open it myself, Iphoto is working perfectly too. But now when I attach the camera, Iphoto no longer opens at all. Yesterday it did open after a really long wait but it kept saying that it did not recognize the "format" of the images....they were jpegs??? Then it flashed on and off and if I hit download at just the right second they would download. But today it won't work at all. Any suggestions.
    thanks

    As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

  • ITunes does not recognize Outlook 2007 contacts or calendar

I have a PC running Vista and Outlook 2007. I have Microsoft Exchange Server, and local Oulook with a Personal folder with contact and calendar groups. I do not have a business account on my new iPhone 3G. I just want to bring over my personal contacts and calendar. When I connect the phone (without being connected to MS Exchange Server), iTunes does not give me a choice of any of my personal contacts or calendar groups. It only shows me the Exchange Server "calendar" and "contacts". I went ahead and did a sunch of the calendar, and got the Exchange Server calendar. This is not what I wanted.
I would imagine other people have the same configuration and want to do the same thing, hoping someone solved this. iPhone tech support has not been able to solve it yet. It seems like iTunes can't recognize my personal folders.
I hope someone might have an answer. Thanks for reading my issue.

  • 8830 & Desktop Manager does not recognize Outlook Express 2000, cannot sync

I just installed Desktop Manager 5.0 and connected to my BB 8830.  I use Outlook Express 2000 for calendar and I want to sync it with my BB 8330.  However, in Desktop Manager under Sync / Config / Select Device for calendar, the only choices are Yahoo and Import/Export Text.  Obviously it is not recognizing Outlook Express 2000 as a calendar program.  Does anyone have a solution?
I bought this 8830 mainly to sync its calendar with my Outlook Express calendar.  If it does not work, then I am going to return it to my cell phone carrier.

Outlook 2000 has not been supported since Desktop Manager 4.2.

I would check on Outlook 2003, still supported by MS and the cheapest version still available.

  • DM 5 does not recognize Outlook 2003

    Hello.
I recently got a new laptop & installed the latest Desktop Manager - 5.0.1.37.  When I try to sync, I get to the screen where it asks to select a desktop application, and Outlook is not listed (Options are: <None>, ASCII Importer/Exporter, Yahoo!).
I am running Outlook 2003 SP2 (this is the version currently supported by my company, so I can't change it).
How can I get DM to recognize Outlook as an available desktop application?
On my previous laptop I was running Outlook 2003 (no service packs) but had DM 5.0.1.18.
Is there a fix available?  Do I need to downgrade from .37 to .18?  How do I do that?
    Thanks!
