HELP phone seems stuck and won't turn on or off

Hi....I JUST got this phone....Saturday the 21st. I have been having issues where I have no internet unless I have wifi. I don't have the little 3g or 4g symbol at all and anytime I try to get online I can't unless it's in wifi. Admittedly I could have done something that caused that, but I have bigger problems at the moment. I thought that maybe I could turn my phone off and then turn it back on again and maybe that would fix my 3g/4g issue, well NOW it turns on and says flashes DROID like it's going to start up, but that's all it does and it won't turn off or go completely on! I'm thinking that I need to take it in and get a new phone, but maybe there's something I can do...any suggestions? Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that your phone is having data and power issues. That's never awesome! smashogre had a great tip, too. I hope it has worked for you. If not, I do recommend an alternative reset to return the phone to the factory settings. If after these steps, it still isn't functioning properly, please direct message me so I can assist you further.

Nothing you can do, sorry to say. If it will not turn on there is absolutely nothing you can do now to backup what is on it. The whole point of a backup is to have made it before disaster strikes. Now, with a dead iPhone, all you can do is accept the loss of your data.
You will be able to re-download iTunes and App store purchases since they are tied to your AppleID, not your device.
Have you been using iCloud for backup? If you have, then you should have a backup in iCLoud you can use to restore your replacement phone with. iCloud backups are automatic (once every 24hrs, whenever your device is on wifi, plugged in and asleep).

My phone ( iPhone 5c, IOS 7.3 ) recently crashed and won't turn back on. I randomly looked at my phone and there were green and red horizontal lines flickering. My immediate thought was to try to turn it off, so i could try to turn it back on. I held the home and power button down and the screen went black. When i tried turning it back on ( holding power button ) there was no response. For the past day, my phone hasn't been responding to anything.

It most likely has a lot to do with your crash.
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
   1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
       other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
   2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
       until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
              * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
                Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
                release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
       device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
       let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some

My iPhone lock button is broken..and now the phone is dead and won't turn on! Help!?

So the lock button on my iPhone 4 is broken, 100%, and the battery died earlier today, when I plug it in, it usually turns on if it has been dead...I tried doing this for hours and nothing happened, I plugged it into 3 different chargers thinking that might be the problem. And since there isn't a apple store close to me, I went to AT&T and they told me I need to do some type of restart (I forget what it's called) it is where you hold down the home and lock button at the same time, but as you can see that wont work since my lock button Is broken. Is there ANYTHING else I can do to fix it!?

Help! iPhone6 froze and won't turn off

HElp! I was just setting my alarm in my iPhone to wake me up and while editing the alarm the phone became very slow in responding to my touch screen commands, and finally completely froze. The screen is full brightness, and I cannot power down, cannot do anything. I plugged the phone into my laptop thinking that an iTunes synch might wake it, but ttunes didn't even see the phone connected. I called my iPhone from a Landline and i got voicemail after four "rings"- the one didn't ring or anything.
What can I do?

Try resetting your phone. Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

My phone has been saying searching all day and I know it is a hardware and antenna issue this happened before 6 months ago and I was able to restore my phone on my own when my carrier couldn't fix it. I haven't needed to, but you can try the reload feature in Link, plug the phone into the USB, click on Blackberry, should see 'not connected to Blackberry' click on 'reload software', choose Z10, LED will turn green. Unfortunately you will lose all your data, Hopefully you have made a backup and your media is on a sd card.

Was using the maps feature, it crashed and then my phone went black and won't turn on now. :-(.

I Don't know what happened to it. I'm also having the problem of calls going straight to voicemail.

Pressing just the Power button can also do a Reset as well... I added some additional things that can help if your phone is giving you issues in the Future..

What is safe mode and how do I use it ?

Uh oh. I dropped it....now it is stuck and won't turn off, connect or

anything. There is no sound coming out, and the clock says 10:10am, the time I dropped it.
I tried to connect it to ITUNES on computer, wouldn't acknowledge it.Curious if this is something that can be fixed or do I just need to move on and get another one?

Dropping the iPod may have damaged one or more of its internal parts, more notably the hard drive itself.
Have you tried resetting it yet? To do this, press and hold the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together for a couple of seconds until the Apple logo appears. If no luck the first time, try a few more.
If you are able to successfully reset it, I would also recommend restoring it as well.

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, usually takes about 10 seconds. If still nothing, connect to Wall Charger and Reset, this can sometimes take about 20 seconds while on charger.
