Help! Phone update stuck on 7% for the last 6 hours!
I was told i needed to update my phone (curve 9360) to the latest software. so i did all the necessary things needed, and then it got down to the actually installing, and the screen was said:

Overall Backup process: | 7% |
it was on this for 4 hours, so i took battery out to restart, when i did turn it back on, it got back to 7% and stopped. help, i need my phone urgently as i have NO way of contacting anyone - therefore wont be able to go to work, because i cant contact the person who gives me a lift. I cant contact anyone in an emergency. I was expecting an important call which obviously i have missed. HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Currently you will need to finish the update using a PC by going to www.blackberry.com/update

I downloaded the os 6 by wifi and when the phone restarted it told me to plug into itunes. I did that and the iphone software update has been stuck on '70 hours remaining' for the last 3 hours. Help!
it says " itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes" so i restore it and after it gets finished it says " the iphone :iphone" could not be restored. the device cannot be found" but ive used this itunes since i got this phone.

After ios 8.02 update iCloud Drive is stuck in a loop that reads "upgrading" with a spinning wheel spokes for the last 48 hours.
There's a solution posted here that may work for you: iCloud Drive won't stop upgrading.

Updated to Adobe Muse 2014 this morning and have worked in it for the last 8 hours. Now when I try to publish the updated site to Business Catalyst for my client to preview it crashes everytime. I have tried just publishing altered files only, then tried the whole site again, and then tried publishing as a new site altogether. Thought I would then try to export as HTML in the hope of uploading the files via an FTP client and Muse crashes and locks up again. I am extremely stressed about this as I am in the last few days of of website I have been working on now with no issues since December. We are due to go live and my client needs to see it. I am desperate for an answer. It is not looking good. I am on an Apple Mac and have not had any isses publishing it for the last 6 months. Not very happy to say the least. Need desperate help.
Hi Zak, I got onto Adobe Customer Care Live Chat this morning and gave them the error message. After some trouble shooting with them it appears the older archived file of the site still publishes. I have now reverted back to the old file and copied and pasted out of the new file and from some ideas given to me by support I am now able to publish to Business Catalyst. It seems there was something corrupt within the new pages added yesterday. I have no idea if this would have still happened if I hadn't updated but I am glad it wasn't a Muse specific problem. I am loving using Muse and the support from Adobe has been excellent. Thanks everyone. By the way I do love the new version and apart from this hick up that lost me a few hours, aged me some more and gave me grey hair I really love Muse. Thanks again.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME? I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RESTORE MY IPHONE4 FROM IOS 4.3.3 TO 5.1.1 FOR THE LAST 6 HOURS AND EVERYTHING GOES THROUGH OK UNTIL IT GETS TO THE RESTORING IPHONE SOFTWARE, IT LOADS 1/2 THEN FREEZES. We do have 11 million records in product_interim table, for those 11 Million records, this query has been running for the last 6+ hours...in OEM, it still says, 89% percent completed and 2 hours waiting time.. it always shows 2 hours waiting time...
Can you guys give some ideas to get this run fast....Your time and help would be greatly appreciated...>

Don't do anything yet!
Let it keep running until you know that you REALLY want to stop it. If you think the UPDATE is slow the ROLLBACK if you kill it may take much longer.
Now - how do you plan to get it to 'run fast' when it is already running? If you do a ROLLBACK the time it takes to apply the UNDO could take even longer than the time it has taken to get this far with the update. And if you interrupt the ROLLBACK you will have to do a recovery from backup. Don't go there.
Read the FAQ at the top of the thread list for how to post a tuning request and the info you need to provide. Some of that info is:
1. Ask for help BEFORE you start running the query. Once you start you should usually just let it finish.
2. Always provide your 4 digit Oracle version
3. Provide table and index DDL
4. Provide row counts for the table and for the query predicates
5. Provide info about the exact command you used to collect stats and say if the stats are current -
Downloaded late set iOS 7 update and it's been just showing the iTunes icon and charger indicator with arrow for the last 7 hours, is this normal? How long before phone reboots
That means something went wrong with the update and the phone is in recovery mode.
Connect it to your computer and use iTunes to restore it.

Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Select ReinstallLion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from
the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is

I don't know what is wrong with me but I can not figure out how to get Crystal to pull records for the last 24 hours. I have a date field I can key off of but I can not figure out the formula or correct syntax to put in the Selection formula. Any help would be great!! ThanksPost Author: SKodidine

No need to create any formula. In your record selection criteria type:
{table.date} in dateadd("h",-24,currentdatetime) to currentdatetime
If you just want the prior 24hrs and do not care about the time then replace 'currentdatetime' with 'currentdate'.
(currentdatetime - 24) will give you 24 days before and not 24 hours. -
I usually have iCloud backup but I got a notification that my phone has not backed up for the last two weeks, and It wont let me do it manually.There is also still enough storage space. Why did it all of a sudden stop backing up?
The HT1766 article you attached lists the prerequisites for an iCloud backup:
iCloud automatically backs up the most important data on your device using iOS 5 or later. After you have enabled Backup on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in Settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage, it will run on a daily basis as long as your device is:
Connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi
Connected to a power source
Screen locked
You can also back up manually whenever your device is connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi by choosing Back Up Now from Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup. -
my phone is blank, its an iphone 4, its been just vibrating for the last two hours non stop, its unresponsive to turning on or off, or even being connected to my lap top. my lap top doesnt recognise the usb...very confused.
Try a hard reset. Hold the power and the home button down at the same time untill you see the apple logo appear. then let go of the buttons

I just loaded Firefox onto my laptop. I set up the the sync add on and had no errors. When I hit sync now I get "Sync encountered an error while syncing: Firefox sync server maintenance is underway, syncing will resume automatically." I have gotten this message for the last 10 hours. Should I wait or is there an issue with my setup? I checked the Mozilla sync server status and it listed no issues.
