HELP! Photo Files not appearing!

PLEASE HELP!
I have ir-replace-able photos on the line.
This is what happened. I did control + Click on about 15 photos. What I did was just add an 'a' to each file name so the file name was HM1234567, I changed it to HM1234567a. (I was trying to see if it would fix something in iweb)
Now when I right click them and click on show file, nothing comes up!
Also when I try to drag them onto my desktop it wont allow me!
Also When i try to edit them there is a blank box with an "!" in there!

Ya, Basically I just changed the file names, I went back and searched for my pictures that seemed to be deleted but their thumbnail still appear in my iphoto by clicking on the one before the one i was looking for and adding one more digit to the name plus the 'a' that i added myself. So if HM222 came right before the one taht was missing i searched for HM223a in spotlight. I found them and changed them back. Once I did this all of their functions came back to iphoto. I will give you the points for at least responding back to me thanks.

Photo files not appearing after refreshing

I've added some photos to my website root folder and for some reason they won't show up in my files list. It has worked for me before but when I refresh the folder it won't show the files. I've even restarted my computer and everything and still no luck. I'm using CS4 and Vista. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Are you running DW CS4 with Vista Administrator Privileges? Right click DW icon > Advanced.
Have the photos been saved for the web first in RBG mode as JPG or PNG filetype?

Photos do not appear on published site

My photos do not appear on the page when I publish the site within the computer.
Also the hyper linl mwnu at the top of every page are not there either when published.
Sounds like I do need help,

Ok, I will dig deep into my computer software boxes and look for the discs that came with the computer.

why do videos from a shared photo stream not appear in iPhoto? Within iMovie, it appears as though videos can be imported from the iPhoto library. However, within iPhoto there are no videos that appear within the Library. Is it possible to import photos into iPhoto from a shared photo stream? if not, how can videos be imported into iPhoto?

I would first of all trash the preference file for InDesign, make sure the application is closed then find the prefs in
/Users/USER NAME/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign and just throw the entire folder away, it will generate a new one after you launch InDesign again.
Now launch InDesign and see if the problems are resolved.
If not I would repair your permissions on your hard drive wih disk utility, and if that fails then di-install InDesign and re-install that single application.
Let me know if any of these suggestions work for you

TS3322 Photos do not appear in order on apple tv

Synced photos do not appear in order when viewed on apple tv. Shuffle is turned off, have downloaded photos from 2 cameras on computer & saves them in folder, renamed them so they are in correct order but when viewed on apple tv they are not in correct order. Have tried renaming them numerous times & they are not in correct order.

This used to work properly till Nov 2012.
After I upgraded to Ios 6.0.1, this has stopped working

Photos do not appear properly on MyWay homepage.

When I do a restart of my laptop and open Firefox, my homepage (MyWay.com) opens properly showing photos. See attachment. After closing Firefox, and then reopening it, the photo do not appear, and the wheel in the upper left hand corner goes round and round like it is attempting to download something. Something is happening after I close the Firefox browser that seems to be causing this problem.

Photos do not appear inline on Yahoo e-mails

When opening e-mails on the Yahoo mail website, inline photos do not appear. This occurs only with Firefox.
OS Win7 w/Norton 360. Using Better Privacy add on.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

* Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.

FTP publishing on iWeb to replace existing site - files not appearing.

On iWeb, I used FTP publishing to replace my existing site files, then deleted the original files but not only has the new site files not appeared in my public html folder but I get the message:The requested URL /www.geofflevitus.com was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Founderror was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

That's an indication that the index.html file that is created alongside the site folder by iWeb is missing.
Try publishing your site to a folder on your hard driive and use a 3rd part ftp client like the free Cyberduck to upload the site folder and the index.html file.
Cyberduck or Transmit will let you view your server folder in a Finder like window where you can see which files are missing.

Open it with QuickTime-player and then open inspector (cmd+I) and read
• Video Format/Codec: nnnnnnnnnnnnn

• import it into iPhoto and in iMovie import from title iPhoto Movies at top in Events window - or
• convert it into streamingDV .dv or AIC and use this.
AND - my read 24fps - I would convert this to PAL 25fps or to NTSC 29.97 (if for US) by JES_Deinterlacer.

HT4236 I want to delete photos from my iPad but this help page does not help, when I click on devises a pop up for photos does not appear.

The instructions in HT4236 are as follows:
To delete synced photos and videos
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.
No where does it say anything about a "photo pop up option". When you click on your device icon a panel with many tabs appears. One of these tabs is "Photos". You are supposed to click on the "Photos" tab.

Photos: File Not Found

Could use some help here...
I am creating a bunch of slideshow pages on my site. Unfortunately, after I publish the site, when I click on the individual thumbnails, I get a message saying "file not found," although all the correct files are indeed in proper folders.
Here's where I think the trouble may be:
To create the slideshow pages, I am dragging a photo album from the iPhoto media browser window onto one of my iWeb pages. I then choose one of the standard templates, and then I modify that template to match the rest of my site by using my own navigation and turning off the template's navigation. But, once I publish the page, files aren't found.
Just for the heck of it, dragged a photo album onto my site, and published it using the standard iWeb template. All the files showed up. I then compared to code for this page with my previous pages and noticed my previous pages had the following extra code:

If I erase this code in my older files, everything displays properly.
Does anyone know what is causing this code to appear? There have been a few instances where I have updated the pictures in the gallery after I've dragged it onto the page. Could that be it?

It's because of the apostrophe in the page name. Get rid of it and things should work fine.

Photos do not appear when I'm trying to construct a Book in iPhoto 08

I really hope someone can help me understand why some picture images do not appear in the photo window strip of iPhoto 08, when I go to make a Book. These same images appear in my Library - but just seem to vanish in Book/Project mode!
All the photos from my digital camera seem to appear OK ... but I have noted the images (jpgs) in question are ones I've downloaded from the Net - legitimately from friend's UGC sites (with permission and which do not breach any copyrights).
I cannot work out what is going on - as older images I've previously downloaded from the Net - which were imported into earlier versions of iPhoto - ALL appear! I've also tried renaming the jpgs removing all '&' type symbols and reloading them into iPhoto - but still without success.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Yes they do appear in full size and I can edit them. I've just realized that it's not just photos from the Net that are not appearing - it seems to be happening for all photos I've imported into iPhoto after a certain date.
After spending many more frustrating hours trying to work this out, I found that if I click all of the 'events' which contain the photos I'm after and then create a Book - all these photos appear in the selection window strip. However I still need to work out a proper solution as this still limits me to only those photos in the highlighted 'events' and no new pictures can be added to that particular Book.

Photos Do Not Appear When Dragged Into Ibooks Author

I formatted my images to 72 DPI .png files and when i drag and drop them into Ibooks Author I can see them, I can manipulate them, resize, add captions. When I do a test the images appear in the text view portriat mode of the Ipad but when in the landscape mode, the images do not appear. There is just a blank space with a caption. If I create a photo widget and drop the photo inside I am able to see it on the Ipad however that widget does not allow me to resize as I would like. Does anyone have a fix for this issue or an idea?

Confirm your process here:
Optimizing performance in your iBooks Author books
...and try jpg for photos instead of png.
And remember - layout in landscape...edit in portrait. Always delete a placeholder image before adding your own.
