Help! pictures on storyboard disappear!

Hi! I'm working on a slideshow for my uncles party today which i have to be at in 4 hours and desperately need help! Whenever i add a new photo to the show the entire storyboard disappears and i have to adjust the icon sizes to get it back temporarily. whenever i add a new photo it disappears again and i have to change the icon size again. as you can imagine this is very troublesome and time consuming; is there anyway to fix it?
I also would like to know how do i save my slideshows onto my iPod (I'm kinda new with macs...)

Easiest way. Share to iTunes on your Mothers Mac in mobile. (Do other sizes if you need them).
In your mother's iTunes, right click (or control-click) on the movie and select "Reveal in Finder". Right click on the Movie file and select "Copy". Navigate to your flash drive and select "Paste".
Then, you can either leave a copy in your Mother's iTunes, or you can delete it.
On your Windows machine, plug in your Flash drive. Open iTunes to the Movies tab. Drag and drop it onto the list of movies.

Problem with AMD Driver, pictures on TV disappears

Hello,
I have a laptop HP Pavilion g6-2303sm, I recently installed Windows 8.1 PRO, (64-bit).
Laptop works always when we connected it to the plasma TV with HDMI cable, but the problem arises when I install the graphics driver, then pictures on TV disappears. Without drivers all doing well, but i can't play games.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. With your Windows 8.1. I would recommend clicking the Windows key and typing device manager. In Device Manager, locate the network adapter, and then double-click the device name. Click the Driver tab, and then click rollback driver. Restart the computer.

Pictures in iPhoto disappeared after downloading Mavericks.

I downloaded mavericks and all of my pictures disappeared from iPhoto. Help! Can I get them back? If so, how?

One last test to see if there are 8000 master photos still in the library.
Starting over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Open the library package like this.
2. Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
3. Drag the subfolders of the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the open iPhoto Library package into the open iPhoto window a few at a time.
This will create a new library with the same Events (but not necessarily the same Event names) as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
Note: your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

Help!- aperture library disappeared after copy

I'm screwed...After a long holiday with my macbook and my aperture (3.0) library (90GB) on an external drive I finally get home and decide to copy the library onto my iMac (pictured folder). I always keep a copy in my external drive as a backup and for macbook use (internal drive too small).
Well, I connect the drive to my iMac, and try replacing the aperture library. Takes very long thinking, so I decide to delete the old aperture library on my iMac and just do a simple copy. Everything seems fine, it starts and says it has 50 minutes to go...so I leave for dinner. An hour later I come back and not only had the aperture library not been copied (only 700 mb or so of it), but the source isn't there either! i.e. it disappeared from my external drive!!
I though it might be a database problem, but mac os x says I have 90 GB more free space on my external drive, so the aperture library seems to have been deleted!
HELP HELP HELP....all of my photography is in there and I cannot believe I have lost everything just by trying to copy it!

The 30 day free trial cannot convert an Aperture 2 library.
Using the trial you can can only import into a new Aperture 3 library, and should not have any of these conversion issues.
We converted 6 workstations this weekend, specifically did not convert the imaging as that can be done in the future on an as-needed basis.
All of the libraries reside on disks that are no more than 40% full, for performance reasons.
The first library we converted was 500GB and at about 2.5 hours it froze at about 58%. I trashed the partial conversion and started over with a clean copy. This time, in Aperture 2 I did a Library rebuild before I converted. After this the conversion ran perfectly, in about 4 hours.
I ended up with a new file called Aperture Library, and another file called Aperture Library_Original. I found that this is the way the conversion is designed if you have the diskspace for 2 full Libraries. If you do not, it will delete the original after the conversion.
At any rate before converting run a rebuild in Aperture 2, and then make a backup of that library. You will then have a very clean original should anything happen in the conversion.
I am happy to say we followed the rebuild and backup on the other 5 Libraries, ranging in size from 500GB to 1.2 TB, and all the other conversions went smoothly.
The key is have plenty of diskspace available, more than double the size of your library, and Aperture will leave an Aperture Library_Original which can still be opened in A2.

My picture preview has disappeared!

Hi. I recently transferred my iPhoto '09 library from my old computer to a new one. The transfer went perfectly and all of my faces information etc. is still available. However, when I look at my events and faces all of the preview pictures are missing. When i move the magnification bar either up or down the pictures come back, but disappear as soon as I let go of it. What can I do to repair this problem?? Thanks for your help.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Community profile pictures have all disappeared

It seems that all profile pictures in the community have disappeared.... All I get is the blank default picture.
Clearly, my pictures are still there, why else would I get a remove/change option (see image).... They simply don't show.

Can I schedule a picture to expire (disappear) on a specific date?

I often place an image that says NEW! on a web page. I would like it to disappear to viewers on a specificied date, for example two weeks after I introduce the picture. FrontPage had a feature called scheduled picture to do this; and after the specific date there was an element that said "expired picture" that I could see in design mode but that wasn't visible to viewers. How do I do this in Dreamweaver?

Please help! Photos have disappeared.

My albums on iPhoto are empty. I have no idea how this happened. But when I look in the Pictures file of my hard drive, some of them seem to be there.

I downloaded my new photos. Afterwhich my iphoto reset and all 1300 photos disappeared completely from iphoto. I reloaded the current ones and out of those two disappeared leaving a dotted box in the spot in which they were. I know all my photos are still on my computer because I have accessed them. But I want them in iphoto.

Help: folders in Mail disappeared!

I regularly check two POP mailboxes in Mail in 10.4.3.
While on vacation, I moved the Users/Library/Mail folder and my Mail prefs (Users/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.prefs or whatever it is) to my laptop and then proceeded to work from my laptop while I was traveling. Worked fine.
Came home, did the opposite (dragged those two files from the laptop to the desktop), started up Mail, and everything looks normal -- I have my two POP boxes at the top, then a couple dozen folders below that. But as soon as I click "Get New Mail" all the couple dozen folders disappear!
If I quit and reboot Mail, the same thing happens.
If I reboot Mail, but click on any of these folders, I can go through them and read messages, etc, but as soon as I click Get New Mail (or it does that automatically, on a 5-minute timer), all my folders disappear!! (Leaving only the POP boxes, Drafts, Sent, Trash, and Junk)

I did correctly copy both the Mail folder and the prefs file.
I later solved the issue. For some inexplicable reason, two of my mail folder's permissions got screwed up in the transfer. I found this after I went into my Mail folder, looked at the long list of folders, and saw the red sign next to two of them. After I reset them both to read and write (and their contents), Mail is now back to functioning normally.
I have no clue what set this off (the permissions were fine on the source computer's Mail folder and all its contents), but that solved it.
Argh. I hate permissions.

HELP! Library has disappeared, How do I get the music from ipod to my comp?

Please Help me! I don't know what to do!
I'm a fourteen year old and my Itunes library completely disappeared from nowhere. I honestly didn't touch anything on it!
So know my Itunes wants to erase and sync my library with its library on there, which has nothing! So, How do I get my ipod music from my ipod to my computer? I'm on Windows XP and Itunes 10!
Please don't make me download anything, because I'll probably get a virus....

Have you looked in the recycle bin? If it's not there, do a search for a song and see if it can be found on your computer somewhere else. By design, iTunes is a one way street - from your computer to your iPod - not the other way around. However, if you can't find any files on your computer, do an internet search for how to move the files from your iPod. Good lesson on why you need to back up your files. FWIW, files/folders just don't "disappear".

Help! - Stacked canvases disappear

Using Forms 6.05. Have content canvas with 2 stacked canvases which I want visible at all times. Have 2 large data blocks requiring horizontal scrollbars on the stacked canvases. Have put the identifier column from each of the data blocks on the content canvas so they remain static and visible while the user scrolls horizontally thru the remainder of the data blocks. Have also put the vertical scrollbars for the data blocks on the content canvas so they too remain static and visible when scrolling horizontally. PROBLEM: When content canvas 1st displays, stacked canvases are visible and data blocks are populated. If the first user action is to manipulate the scrollbar, the stacked canvases disappear. However, if the user clicks on a data block item first and then manipulates the scrollbar, the stacked canvases remain visible. HELP! I can't figure out what is happening and how to fix it. Any info is appreciated.

The canvases have to be ordered in the Forms definition in the order they overlap each other on the screen, i.e. content canvas, stacked canvas, stacked canvas.
Use show_view and immideatelly go_block built ins, where the block is a block from the stacked canvas.
The items shown on the stacked canvases have to be separated in different blocks, where you have to declare the scrolbares.

I was trying to remove a bookmarked address, and the entire address bar disappeared. How do I get it back? None of the Safari preferences help pages

Help with notes that disappear from IPad and iPhone?

Help! My notes on the iPad keep disappearing from my IPad then from my iPhone. The notes are showing in yahoo ok. I type my notes and then they are there for a short while then disappear. I share one apple account with my husband so we do not use the iCloud for notes so that we keep them separate. On his IPad when you go to settings/notes he can then show under default yahoo, iCloud and on my IPad. On my IPad it just shows yahoo under default. How can I sort this? Use to work fine before the upgrade.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the notes you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device, or the left side panel in mail on a computer), non iCloud notes will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your notes are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling notes syncing.

Pictures rotate or disappears by from the book I´m creating!

I have made a few photo books in iPhoto before, no problems. When I´m now creating a new book some photos in the book rotate all by their selves and some photos just disappear! I correct them and after a few minutes other photos disappears! Please help!

No. And to assure that they don't is why we suggest backing up the library beforehand if you don't already have a current backup copy. Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window.
2 - Run Option #1, Repair Permissions.
3 - if that doesn't fix the issue repeat the process and this time select Option #4, Rebuild Database.
