Help Please! 2 Keys Off My MBP!

Hi,
Today at school some idiot threw a large piece of chocolate at my MacBook Pro. Two of my keys are now out, the [ and ] keys. Do they have to replace the whole keyboard? The Whole Laptop?? lol...but seriously...
ORRR...
Can I just pop them back in?

The serious part of my post was at the bottom, I don't know, maybe you missed it..
I'll make it clear *Call Apple Care*.
Seriously, anything we say will need to be confirmed by them anyway, so why don't you just cut out the middle man and call them directly?
I don't mean to be harsh or un-helpful, I just think you are wasting your time asking us, then calling apple care, then having them say to you "ignore what the idiots on the forum told you, you need to etc.."

Help Please with Key Signature/Loops

Hello,
I want to just make sure apple loops are playing pack in the project in the original key as they exist in the loop browser. I notice in the arrange window under global tracks, it defaults to key of C. Do I have to change this to everytime I add a loop in a different key to the arrange window? Or will it play in the original key automatically?

Calibrating a 2010 MBP is not required. All it will achieve is putting an unnecessary cycle on it and shortening its life:

Help please. Extended display won't work on MBP and AOC 20" 1600 x 900 60HZ monitor. Mirror display does. I've a mini dvd to vga converter cable. Should this work?

I have the same mini display port adapter and Belkin DVI-HDMI cable (but a Panasonic 42" Plasma HDTV) so just set this up on it to see if I could duplicate your problem, unfortunately for you (but good for me) I can't.
I connected the adapter+HDMI cable before switching the HDTV on and then powered up the MBP. It (the HDTV) came up with my background right away (it's set at Mirror not extended Desktop) and when I run System Preferences/Displays get the following. Sorry but all I can confirm is that adapter+cable combination should work ...
Try doing a Parameter RAM reset - hold down command/option/p/r keys at start up and wait for three chimes before releasing the keys?

If your MBP is under warranty, bring it to an Apple store and have the technicians fix it. If not, try the steps in this support article:

Ops I replied to myself in error.....

I performed the steps indicated but this morning when I clicked the mouse and hit the space key and clicked the track pad again as before nothing happens.
I hold the power button for a few seconds and the screen fills as if the computer was normally awakened but it is locked up.
Then I have to shut it down with the power button and then power it up as a reboot.
Not good...SMC reset didn't work....Throughout the day yesterday I put the computer to sleep and woke it up normally. It seems to be a overnight problem.
Am I going to have to shut it down everynight?

Safe mode is not what you want in this case. Reboot to recovery mode - hold down cmd-R as the Mac reboots. Go past the language-selection screen, click the Utilities menu, then Terminal. Type:
resetpassword
Followed by the return key, and follow the prompts. Reboot normally when done.

My (relatively) new MBP is stuck in restart mode. "your computer is already restarting" HELP PLEASE.

I have noticed when I restart my computer, the finder gets stuck and there are no icons on my desktop. If I restart, they will usually come back.
I am still paying off my MBP which cost nearly 2k. I was going to upgrade to Apple Care as soon as it's paid off next month. Unfortunately, the 90 day "complimentary" phone support expired last month and my MBP is now stuck in restart mode. If i click on the keyboard restart button, I get "Your computer is already restarting". It's been like this for 15 minutes so it looks stuck.
Can someone please help?

I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.

Hi.
I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine.

Do a reset by holding the power and home button until the apple logo appears ignoring the slide to power off (no data loss).
