Help please - 785GM-E65 return from RMA but still KO..

HI,
my 785gm-e65 was broken after the m-flash use.
no POST at all.
RAM, 1 month then came back this morning.
i put the sempron with its rad, the ddr3 and the power switch, then the VGA plug, and ....
no POST ...
clearing CMOS without power plug did not help.
so my question is, may be its not my mobo, but to debug, i need to know what are the minimal things to POST.
should i have POST without CPU and RAM, only keyboard and VGA plugged ?
i tried this and nothing..
HELP me solving this problem, before calling again the seller..

ok, that's what i thought :
CPU+RAM+IGP+power on mobo+power switch
specs:
sempron140
DDR3 noname
antec NSK1480 with PSU
the thing is that everything was working before M-flash, and after that i RMA my mobo
it's coming back and they told it's fully functional...
but still not working, so it's hard to believe that my CPU or RAM is defective, because they were working without trouble..

Hi, I have a powerbook and want to record into garage bands using guitars and mics and stuff. I was told to buy a fasttrack audio interface but when i was recordng it was crashing. Then I was instructed to buy more memory, I now have 1.25gb of it!!! However, when I try to record my guitar into garage bands there is nowhere near enough volume and even with the levels up at the highest I can't get anything like enough. I have tried running the guitar through an amp, and trying an acoustic guitar as opposed to an electric guitar but still the levels are reallt low and this changes nothing. Can someone please help me, I have spent alot of money on this stuff and feel I have really wasted it!!!!

The pictures that are on your phone, that you don't want, did they appear there after syncing with iTunes? Or were they taken with the iphone's camera?
Pictures synced from iTunes have to be removed by syncing again, but not having those pictures checked under the Photos tab in iTunes.

HT200250 I couldn't open the files from a Canon XF 300 so I downloade the plugin from Apple but still can't open the files. I opened and clicked on the installer icon. I'm not sure the plugin was actually installed. can anyone help?

As you probably know the Canon plug-in enables Log & Transfer in FCP7. I'm not sure whether it works with Final Cut Express or not.
Look in Applications>Canon Utilities. I'm running 10.6 as well and that is where it's located on my machine.

I deleted and re downloaded Firefox 5 using my VPN "Astrill" linked "from Australia" but it still happens. Can you assist, as a lot of the downloads I create have Mandarin instructions in them. I can't get adobe Flash 10 to work here in China either, but FF and A10 were both working prior to leaving Australia when I used xp. I had a computer crash and reloaded everything new, including FF and Adobe 10 Flash when I arrived in China. Can you shed any light?

Browser not connecting after returning from sleep, but email and imessage working fine

My Browsers are not able to access the Internet after returning from sleep. This effects other browsers (Firefox & Chrome) as well. The connectivity from mail and iMessage is working fine. I am also hardwired and not using WiFi.

I have the same problem since updating to Yosemite, works fine after restarting but once it goes in to sleep it affects email as well as browsers, I have a broadband connection. Also accessing the app store is hit and miss, it's either working or simply not not working.
It also affects other devices trying to connect to the internet over wifi via the airport time capsule, the problems started after installing Yosemite.

scenario by <entity>.id. But i am not able to do so beacuse of the object type. Can some one tell me how i can return the new created value?

You could try to use refection since the object type would be obtained at run time, and from the edmx medadata workspace, to obtain these primary key properties, and compare the object type property to check if current property is a PK, if so, set it value

All CDs deleted from iPod but still in iTunes library. help?

So i imported some more CDs to my iTunes and it wouldn't let me drag and drop it to sync. Nothing happened whenever i did that. I ended up pressing sync and it deleted all of my CDs from my iPod 5th generation. they're still in my library, but I have no clue how to get them back on my iPod. i keep dragging them and dropping them but nothing is happening. I also restored a backup, but it was still the same. I'm getting frustrated because the CDs account for most of my music on my iPod. Any help would be much appreciated!

Help Please with moving files from an External HD to a New Hard Drive

OK My Powermac MDD's Hard Drive Needs Replacing, but before I replace it I was told to buy Super Duper software and backup my hard drive and the applications onto an external Hard Drive. I am going to go and buy another external Hard Drive tomorrow and do this, but I have a few questions...
What do I need to do to do this successfully? Please explain in the simplest of terms.
Here's the steps as far as I understand. Please correct where necessary.
1. Buy an external HD like an LaCie for example.
2. Attach the LaCie external Hard Drive to my mac. *What Do I need to do to set it up to use with Super Duper? Please explain this in detail if possible as it is really confusing me how to set up my external LaCie Hard Drive so I can move my Files to it using Super Duper and then put the files back onto a new Hard Drive!*
I've read I need to be able to "boot from the External Hard Drive" after I copy my files there using Super Duper. What do they mean by booting from the hard drive?
Do I need to "format" my new LaCie Hard Drive?
What do I use to format the LaCie Hard Drive? I think the last time I didn't have to do anything, when I used my external Hard Drive for storage only, but do I have to do something special now that I want to copy my whole hard Drive from the LaCe external back ont a "New" G4 Hard Drive?
3. Buy or Download "Super Duper" software to copy all of the contents of my Hard Drive to the LaCie external Hard Drive. Does anyone know if the demo will do this or do I need the advanced features?

Well I see I have 2 options that both sound viable. I ran disc utility and under S.M.A.R.T. it said: Failure. The only application I can't open is Safari and the drive is still turning properly and semi-reliable though, so I may be alright to clone still. There is stil the issue of errors though. If there are errors I agree with you I don't want to copy themm over to a new drive but can I not run disc utility after I copy verything over to the new drive?
My reason for wanting to use Super Duper is that I have about 23 applications that all have different serial no's etc. and to reinstall all of these would take a considerable amount of time, so that's why I was wanting to use SD, but if "Migrate Assistant" will copy over applications like Photoshop, Mail and other applications then I think that might be a lot better because my install would be a lot cleaner and I could only install what I needed. What do you think?
It looks like "Migration Assistant" only comes with Tiger. This throws a wrench into things. What would you do? Would you buy Tiger or just use Super Duper etc. Can I install Tiger onto my external Hard Drive only and then use "Migration Assistant" to transfer files over even if my Hard Drive only uses Panther? Sorry for all the questions but I see there are a few ways to do this and I want to use the method that will work best. : )
So if i use Migrate Assistant do I need to copy over my system preferences too? I think if I copy my applications they will create new preferences when launched won't they. Also would all of my "Mail" information be copied over using "Migrate Assistant"
Method #1 (Using Super Duper)
1) Install the external HD and format it using "Disc Utility"
2) Run "Super Duper" and clone my hard Drive to the external Drive.
3) Disconnect the external Hard Drive
4) Disconnect the computer and install the new hard drive
5) Reconnect the external Hard Drive and Run "Super Duper" and transfer the information back to the new hard drive.
6) Run Disc Utility and fix any errors.
7) "Erase" the contents from the external Hard Drive
8) Done!
Method #2 (Using Migrate Assistant)
1) Use the mac G4 discs and select the "External Hard Drive" and Install the OS from the install disc directly to the "External Hard Drive".
2) Then use my Panther discs and select the "External Hard Drive" and install Panther to the "External Hard Drive".
3) Go into "Preferences" and select "External Hard Drive" as my "Startup Disc" so it will "boot" to the "External Hard Drive".
4) Use "Migrate Assistant" to migrate or transfer only software applications (Photoshop. Mail, Address Book etc.) from the "old" hard drive to the "External Hard Drive".
5) Disconnect the external Hard Drive
6) Disconnect the computer and install the new hard drive
7) Reconnect the external Hard Drive and Run "Super Duper" and transfer the information back to the new hard drive.
8) no need to run Disc utility as it's like a clean install.
9) "Erase" the contents from the external Hard Drive
10) Done!
Please tell me if I have missed a step or if a step is incorrect in the above 2 methods.
