Help please, cant connect Homehub 2.0 to laptop

I have upgraded to the Homehub 2.0 from Homehub 1. I have my desktop computer linked to my homehub 2.0 via an Ethernet Cable as did previously with the other router. Linking my laptop wireless. I am having connectivity issues concerning my laptop. Initially when I go into network settings search for new wireless , found my BT Homehub 2.0 no probs. Inputted WPA key as requested and it linked. Broadband extremely slow coming at 1.0 mbps connection speed. Did a speed test on desktop and everything is as it should be.
Went back to the laptop and refreshed the wireless connection, still no joy, struggled to find the BT Homehub 2.0 second time round, when found , very slow to connect once I inputted the WPA key.
If anyone has any ideas as to the problem I would be most grateful.
Thought the laptop would be a doddle to set up as was previously.
Am I missing something really simple here ?
I reverted back to the original Homehub, and everything is back to normal but wish to use the new Homehub 2.0.

Changing devices is no reason to create a new Apple ID.
All content purchased from iTunes is permanently linked to the Apple ID it was purchased with.
To update apps purchased with the old ID, you MUST sign in with that Apple ID.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

First of all, try and reinstall the firmware. Sometimes it just goes haywire for no apparent reason and a second attempt might solve the issue.
Failing that, you could try a hard reset:
1) Press and hold the green "call", "3" and "*" buttons.
2) With those buttons pressed down, switch the phone on.
3) Keep pressing those 3 buttons and only release them once the phone shows signs of life such as the Nokia "hands" logo or the language selection screen.
If none of those work you'll have to pay a visit to a Nokia Care Point to see what they can do.

Please help I cant connect to my home wifi on my iPhone5 since downloading ios7 unless i am on top of the router, but the minute i leave the router it disappears.

I deleted the previous wireless connection i was using but i dont know how to set a new one up myself. When it asks for all the data etc..i really dont have a clue and i dont want to mess with it.

Hi everyone having problems connecting my i pad 2 wirelessly to my live box a738!
Ive phoned my network provider and theyve assured me if i can connect wirelessly to my laptop I can do the same ... if not I should contact apple for a solution with settings?
Ive tried every thing - restarting ipad and livebox typing livebox code slowly umpteen times and still no joy
Please help as its a present for my dad and i want to have to working before he gets it !

Yes, livebox a738 is a wireless modem.
It appears in the wi fi section but when i type my tlivebox security code in it doesnt accept it,.
My lapt top is a compaq presario and work sfine with the wireless modem and the security code.( or wep key as some call it )

I developed a tuxedo-corba client to use a non-tuxedo orb, my test in Tuxedo were fine, because I was using a Tuxedo-Corba Server with a DUMMY corba method.
I'm using Name Service and ISL who connected to a //localmachine:xxyy
But, when I'm trying to connect to a external Corba Server, (//111.222.333.44:14000) non-tuxedo, it fails.
Maybe I need something more, can you help me please...

You need to explain a little more what you are doing and what configuration you are using TOBJADDR does not work with foreign ORBS, you have to use standard CORBA urls, e.g. corbaloc:iiop:host:port/NameService

Help Please! Connection problems!

Hello,
I received an Iphone3 yesterday from my friend as she no longer wanted it. When I was with her with the phone it would connect to her home internet fine with no problems, so didn't think i'd have an issue.
I've brought it home and it would connect to my Plusnet home internet connection. It wont even bring me up the option to connect or enter my password.
The internet will connect to my orange contract but i don't reall want to use that.
I don't know much about this technology and really no sure what to do.
