Help please. Colour correction

Hi guys, I recently shot a video and when my camera was pointed toward the sun there appears to be a bluey/purple ring around the sun. I really want to get rid of it but i can't seem to figure out how. Any ideas?

I assume, in the scopes it's a flat-line, right?
(=highly over exposured, just yelling "WHITE!").
What about composing a white circle 'over' it?
you could blurr the borders to transparent, so the overlay is better 'integrated'.
a bit tricky, if this is a handheld shot ... (it is, right?)
btw: lucky you, you haven't killed the chip of your cam!

Hi any help please would really appreciate it,
i am doing these videos where some of the camera colors dont match ,i have been trying colour correctiing and going around in circles trying to get these images to match,
any suggestions(even rude ones) i would be greatful and any ideas what the cameraman has done on the right for future reference.

Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with.

Mobile me has been discontinued for over a year. What system and iPhoto versions are you running?
How are you trying to sync? With Photo Stream or thru iTunes?
Do you have an iCloud preference pane in your System preferences?
Do you meet the minimum requirements for iCloud and Photo Stream?

hello ptbruce, you probably only selected to open (not save) the video which will download it into windows temporary folder where it gets deleted again after it has been used. <br>you could try to right-click the entry in the firefox download manager and copy the link of the source file and try if you can download it through this url again. otherwise you'll have to contact the vendor of the video to find a solution...

Hi! My "Touch" has gone haywire since a botched up date. The colour has gone from my music menu Page (eg "songs", "artists2 etc. and my Touch will now not shuffle my tracks so I have to move on manually. Help please.

An update to my Touch went haywire and I lost my music and apps but luckily I had subscribed to i Cloud and they were reinstated but my music contents page - "artists", "songs" etc. no longer has any colour and the shuffle will not work. Help please?

You have tried turingin on shuffle, right?
Try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost

So just to be clear on a few things:
Should partitioning the hard drive not work is it undoable?
Will this have any impact on doing a complete erase and reinstall and will that restore it back from the process?
Is there a limited amount of space that makes this process ineffective?
I have never had to do this sort of thing so I just want to be sure I don;t wind up in the dog house *)

In Iphoto 11 all 7000 of my photos show the same thumbnail. I rebuilt the thumbnail using ctr alt and opening iPhoto. This worked and rebuilt the thumbnails correctly. Then when I reopened iPhoto the problem came back? Help please?

Help with what? If the WiFi radio is broken, there's nothing any of us on this forum can do help you. Either go to Apple and pay for an out of warranty replacement, or find a 3rd party repair shop and get the phone repaired.

Hi i have a SB X-fi Xtreme Audio PCI-E card on my pc , i have currently installed windows 7 and for months now i am trying to make the card work .. I have a poor sound especially when there is bass, the card is not detected by windows 7, its detected as a high definition audio device , when i plug my mic is not found..and i cant use the creative applications because is says its not supported or i have no creative poroducts on my pc ... I have tried all the latest drivers and stil have the same problem.. HELP PLEASE !!

First, uninstall all creative drivers, console, from add/remove. Restart computer install: . X-Fi Xtreme Audio Series Driver .04.0000 from creative website. 2.X-Fi Xtreme Audio Pack .03.0002 from creative website. 3. install Creative Console from here: http://forums.creative.com/t5/Sound-Blaster/PAX-Console-Launcher-V-0/td-p/549970 * PAX Console, Modded Original Console, but newer then Creative) or this creative console: CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_6_09.exe ( it creative original console) With this console you will have bass, treble, etc, BUT you need to open ConsoLCu.exe from Program Files/Creative/Console Launcher. ConsoLCu.exe have all the options you need. Creative forget about thier sound board, thier drivers, bass, treble, etc, about customers. If you install thier drivers from their website you will not have BASS, and also an crappy sound. You need to install Creative Console from google, or from http://forums.creative.com/t5/Sound-Blaster/PAX-Console-Launcher-V-0/td-p/549970 to have bass, crystalizer, etc. I also have Creative Audio PCI-e board..... crappy chipset, just like Sb Li've 24 biti PCI.

Our EFFECT COLOUR CORRECTION COLOUR BALANCE feature doesn't work on solids. Any clues?

Hi, I'm trying to help a friend troubleshoot a light sabre effect. He has followed a series of instructions from the net, but no matter what we try the solid will not change colour using the EFFECT > COLOUR CORRECTION > COLOUR BALANCE feature on the layer.

Could someone more experienced with After Effects please help us out and tell us why this feature isn't working in this project?
"Using your mouse to slide the numbers, drag the 3 “Blue Balance” labels to the right, up to 100 is you wish. This should start to change your glowing white lightsabre into a blue one. Play around with it, till you have the colour you want. You can slide the “Red” and “Green” Balance labels to the left to lessen their effect too."

I agree with Mylenium. There are some serious flaws in the instructions. With no colour in the solid, Color Balance will have no effect.
But your project is also incorrectly built, according to the instructions: you've duplicated the mask 5 times, rather than the layer.
In the precomp, make your solid blue, with just one feathered mask, duplicate the layer 3-5 times, switch all to Add transfer mode.

Colour corrections not saving and not exporting

Am puzzled by something in FCE. I did a whole load of colour corrections, then saved and closed the project. Whenever I re-open the project, all the colour corrections are un-done. All other edits are unaffected. This happens repeatedly.
Also, after re-doing the colour corrections, saving and NOT closing, I exported the project to MPEG2. The colour corrections did not come through on the exported file.
My timeline is 3.5hrs long, and re-doing all these colour corrections is *time consuming*.
Please does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

If you have created some modified effects (eg. 3 second dissolve) and put them into your FCE Favoutites Bin, trashing the preferences will trash these. They can easily be re-created or save this Bin somewhere else and bring it back if that's the course of least resistance.
