I have an iPod Video 60gig for around 3 months...and yesterday i discovered that the joining part between the metal and the plastic piece is getting wider...what should i do???should i bring it to apple center??
i tried it...but still quite loose and i need to keep on pressing to let em stick back together...1 more problem is i can see the colours of rainbow if i look to the screen at 45degrees...

Below is the advice you forwarded:
I found a solution to my problem.
> start menu
> accessories,
> right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.

My ipad keeps crashing and this time it won't come back on it just keeps telling me to connect to itunes which I did and it just keeps telling me it can't restore this ipad because an error has occured! Really need help please?
If it keeps coming up with an unknown error - no error code given - try another computer. If that doesn't work, it's time to take it to an Apple Store or an authorized service center to have the device evaluated.

I have the new iOS 6 on my iPad, and when ever I try to log on to the iTunes store this comes up: Cannot connect to the iTunes store. Anybody help please?
I'm also having this problem I've already tried changing the year stuff and its still the same I succeeded once when I toggled my credit card account but after that the same problem occurred.

Contact the manufacturer's tech support for help. Most likely it needs a compatible driver.

My files are all there and open in Preview but in Numbers they come up blank. Same in Pages. Any ideas please? My Mac was stopped suddenly by a power cut. Could this be relevant? Help please. Jon Sims

Do you have access to another computer with Numbers installed?
If so, do your files open properly on that computer?
If so, then the problem is your computer itself, which is best posted in a different forum. -

From the menu bar click Mail > Preferencees then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab then click + to add the account. -
Every time an email comes in it's preceded by two telephone rings. I don't know what I did to create the problem so I don't know how to resolve it. HELP PLEASE!!!

Hi, Hope this is in the right place.
I'm trying to upload photos into facebook from my iMac. I've clicked on the upload to facebook icon in iphoto but just get an error message saying 'error occurred with iPhoto - try again later. I've also had problems lately when I click on a photo to open it I just get a grey screen with an exclamation mark. I've downloaded the latest software but nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help please?

How come now every time i throw something into the recycle bin it asks for my password and when I do it doesn't show in my bin help please!
You're throwing away files that either don't belong to you or are in a folder that doesn't belong to you. Since your user account has Administrator privileges, it just ask you for authentication, else it would forbid the operation.
To better understand the concept, select one of your files from your home directory and press Control-I. In the info window, check the Sharing & Permissions section at the bottom. Do the same with one of the files that asks for the password. -
Hi, I have a iPod touch 4th generation. It comes up as charging when it is plugged into the computer but it does not show in iTunes. I have everything up to date and have restarted both computer and iPod. Help please?

Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.

Ask your wireless provider. None of what you describe has to do with the phone itself.

You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.

This only happens when I'm in my browser. Ex. when I'm on a site and I decide I like what I see and want to print it text that is, my printer always prints tiny. When I'm in Microsoft Word for ex. I print it and it looks like what I expect. So I don't know if somehow my printer got set to print tiny when on the web. If you can help me I would be most appreciative.
