Hi and welcome to the forums Lotte !
A couple of places for you to visit: Blackberry 101    Tips & Tricks
Pull the battery out with the device ON. Wait about a minute and put the battery back in. Let the BB completely restart and see if that doesn't help. Clears out the memory and refreshes the BB; like rebooting your pc.
When you have anomalous behavior in your BB a battery pull often helps to clear it up too.
Let us know ow it goes..Happy to have you here!

    Greetings ascnephew8,
It seems your trackpad isn't working as you expect it to. Have you reviewed the trackpad settings in System Preferences? The following article provides trackpad setting details which may help:

  • HT1343 Does anyone know what to do if the track pad stops working?

Is there something that can be done when the track pad stops working?

    Not much..

You could attempt an SMC reset afterwards. Likely you need to bring your machine in for service.

  • Track Pad Stopped Working: Swipes between FullScreen, Desktop and Dashboard, Help Please?

So I gotta do an assignment and I'm using about 2 or more apps at the same time on fullscreen, but I can't swipe between the two apps with my trackpad. I checked the system preferences and the 'swipe with 3 fingers between full-screen apps' has been ticked, but it won't work. Only the keyboard works, but it's hard to remember controls to switch between desktops, dashboard and full-screened apps.
Is there something wrong with what I've ticked? Or is it the track pad itself.
    Please Help

  • Curve 3g 9300 track pad not working.

Hi my daughters Curve 9300 trackpad stopped working. Is this a common problem and if so does the phone need to be replaced or just the trackpad??
All replies would be gratefully received.

    Hi aishilei
Thanks for the Update ! I am sorry but if your Trackpad is not working even after Device Update I think you need to replace or repair that. But before that I would like you to simple test ,Try starting your Device on safe Mode and see if your trackpad works,If it works your Apps are responsible for that ,But if it did work even on safe mode then as I said you may had to replace your Trackpad.

  • Wireless track pad stopped working

My wireless track pad and key board stopped working after the power was inadvertently turned off

You could try an SMC and PRAM reset, if you haven't already: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3603

  • Track pad stopped working??????

My trackpad has suddenly stopped working??? Apple needs to communicate with it's customers we need a fix to this problem. it's really annoying.

Depends on the problem. Have you tried zapping the PRAM or an SMC reset? Check your battery - any swelling?
If none of the above helps, your best bet is to call an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider and ask (you may need to take it in for them to determine the problem and estimate cost and repair time).
    Hope this helps...

  • Help please! Kyocera KM-3050 stopped working after ML upgrade

    Hello Apple community,
We have a Kyocera KM-3050 that scans and prints. After upgrading all the iMac, Macbook Air and Macbook Pro laptops to Mountain Lion, we are unable to scan and send the documents to any of the Apple computers. Printing is still working perfectly, but scanning has absolutely stopped working. I don't know what to do. I can't find all the installers and I'm afraid to downgrade back to Snow Leopard without them. Ah, the time machine on all three computers have never been activated so there's no restore point. =(
Any suggestions on how to go around this? Thanks in advance!

SMB protocol is used by the Mac to connect to and from Windows computers. Typically the multi function devices use this protocol to connect to Windows shares, and with OS 10.6 and earlier, they could also use it to connect to a shared folder on the Mac.
If you are able to look at the address book in the MFD, this will give some insight into what protocol is being used. Often this can be done by entering the IP address of the MFD into a web browser which connects to the internal web site of the MFD. From here there should be links to the address book where you can register and edit an address for the send function.
For  the example you give to the iMac, if the address book may show smb:\\192.xxx.xxx.xxx\sharename, where 192.xxx.xxx.xxx is the iMac's IP address and sharename is the shared folder name where the document is sent to on the iMac. It may also not show SMB at the beginning, but will show SMB as the protocol being used. The image below is an example from the address book of a Canon imageRUNNER MFD. Note that the protocol is shown as "Windows (SMB)".
As for the FTP support, one way to check is via this address book view. With the example above, I can change the protocol drop menu from Windows (SMB) to FTP. If you can see this same view in the Kyocera then this could help identify that the device supports the FTP protocol for sending documents.

  • My track pad stopped accepting clicks.  I can move the mouse but clicks will not register.  Help!!!

My track pad stopped accepting clicks.  I can move the mouse/cursor although clicking will not register with computer.  Any suggesstions?  HELP!

If you configure the track pad to accept a double-tap = mouse click - do you still have the problem?
I had a similar problem with white MacBooks - the mouse button just wouldn't work anymore - got worn out or something. I think that may be why Apple went with the whole trackpad being the mouse button. I never use that though. I much prefer the double tap.

  • My Blackberry 9300 track pad pointer not stable.

Please help me, my Blackberry 9300 track pad pointer is moving upward on it own, even when I try to scroll down or side. I wiped the phone, but the problem still continues. Please help me. What should I do?

Oh...you elected to skip past backing up your data. OK...your choice.
The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
    1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
    2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
    3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed
    http://us.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html
    4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
    5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Device-Software/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-Syste...
Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.
If you are on MAC, you are limited to only your carriers sanctioned OS packages...but can still use any levels that they currently sanction. See this procedure:
KB19915How to perform a clean reload of BlackBerry smartphone application software using BlackBerry Desktop Software

  • Laptop curser and touch pad stopped working for my pesario cq61 how do i fix it?

laptop curser and touch pad stopped working for my pesario cq61 how do i fix it?

    Hello jamdizzle,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand the touch pad on your notebook has stopped working. I will help you out the best I can!
I do have a workaround that may work, if you wish to try it:
    1. Go into Device Manager, then Mice and other pointing devices.
    2. Right-click on the mouse driver, and select "Uninstall".
    3. Restart the computer. This will force the computer to install a driver based on the detected hardware.
This should resolve the issue. If not, please provide the following information:
    1. The computer's model number. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this website: Guide to finding your product number
    2. The computer's operating system. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this website to determine your Windows operating system.
    3. Have you installed any new hardware on this computer, before the issue appeared?
    4. Have you installed any new software or drivers on this computer, before the issue appeared?
