Help please!!!! Had to reload old OS and now having application problems

I have a Power mac G5 and use leopard. I recently installed ILife 08. I somehow lost Iphoto. I reloaded bundled software from my install discs (10.3.5) but it didn't work. I then reinstalled this 10.3.5 software and archived my old info. I then reloaded leopard. My desktop was the typical virgin desktop until I synced with mobile me. I now have a folder named "previous systems." I was able to pull old itunes music and reload them. I can't find my 500 photos that were on Iphoto before these problems. However, these 500 photos are on my iphone. WHen I try to sync my iphone, I get an error message saying my iphone is synced with another photo library. it then asks me if I want to sync iphone with iphoto but it sounds like it will erase my iphone photos so i do not do it. I also cannot find my apple TV icon that was on my itunes tab (I have an Apple TV).
I have limited computer knowledge, so any info would be great!

Why didn’t you install it from the iLife disk?

I’m sorry this makes no sense to me. You went back 2 versions of the OS and then came forward again? What ‘Old Infor’ did you archive? How did you do this? Also, when you re-installed 10.3, did that not involve wiping the HD?

MobileMe is no place for virgins, obviously

Well to go back to 10.3 you may have wiped the HD, so did you back them up?
However, these 500 photos are on my iphone.
It’s very likely that these are tiny thumbnails compressed with the iPhone in mind, and not very useful in any other circumstance.

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes and Quicktime, and ask on the AppleTV forum.

I recently purchased a Mac OS X 10.6.6 which was an upgrade from my Mac OS version 10.4.1.1 I downloaded the Adobe Photoshop CS2 which I had on my old computer and now it cannot read my NEF files which is a RAW file from my Nikon D200. I did not have this problem on my old Mac. I always shoot RAW and can't open any photos. Can anyone help me PLEASE?!?
Do you have access to another Mac to see if the disk can be read by it? If it can't then you're pretty sure it's the disk. If it can then there may be issues with your optical drive which might be cleared up by using a cleaning disk on it, one that uses dry brushes (no liquid).
If you have access to another Mac and it can read the iWork disk make a disk image of it so you can move the disk image to your iMac and install from the disk image.

I have a macbook pro 1.5 years old ver10.7.5 and now having a problem with having to manually force quit after a hour or so of use to clear up memory(unit slows down) should I up grade iso if so to what and what is the correct procedure? Rick

My firefox wont load any page. Says it cant find the server of any of them. I can view the same pages in safari. I just updated to 3.6.7 and now having this problem. What is happening?

Never have had a problem synching both of my iPhones with my PC, specically Outlook files, now having a problem. It goes thru the whole process and shows completed, doesn't add any recent events posted to my PC calendar. Should I delete and reinstall iTunes?
think the current itune version removed the feature and that you should use iclouds to sync your outlook stuff and your ios
but read they will be adding the direct sync from itunes again in the next version of itunes or something like that

I needed to reload windows 7 on to my laptop after a serious issue - now I cannot sync my iPad. Is there an easier solution other than to erase my library and start again?Download the latest version of iTunes and do a reinstall of I tunes. The windows redo may have erased or replaced some of the dll files needed for I tunes to work. If you do a reinstall, it will not disturb you content.

I had to reload my software and now the computer does not recognize my ipod
I had to reload my software due to a virus, and iTunes wouldnt work. Wound up deleting iTunes from the computer and reloading it. It works but lost all my library and the computer now does not recognize my iPod. Like it is synced to another computer, but both are the same as before. I want to restore my iPod library back to the computer and get new music, but nothing seems to work, plus I cant transfer new music to my iPod either. I am so lost.

Upgraded to 5.5 last week and now having some problems...
Did a quick search for issues folks had when upgrading to 5.5, and didn't see mine in there anywhere. Unfortunately when 5.5 came out is when I was MIA on these boards, so I've missed a lot, and if these questions have already been addressed, I apologize...
Last week I upgraded from 5.0.3 to 5.5, ran all the updates (now at 5.5.2), and was told on launch that my graphics card (GTX-285) wasn't recognized, and that CUDA would be disabled (It had worked perfectly in 5.0.3). I did a quick driver update (version 8.17.12.7533 is what Windows update found) and all was well... CUDA was back in play.
This morning I ran my first video project since the upgrade, and found everything worked as normal... until the export. I have just a basic 12 minute 720p30 timeline (choose an XDCAM-EX preset since that's what I most commonly work in) filled with still images (60frame duration, automated to the timeline, with 10frame cross-dissolves) and a music bed--it's a slideshow of our 2012 runs at the local fire department where I work part time. I choose the Vimeo HD export under H.264 since I've found that gives me the cleanest picture with a decently small file size (orginal images totalled 1.5GB). I ran the export twice--once in HD and once in SD, since some of the guys don't have computers that can handle the HD stream. Everything seemed to go fine. I tried playing back the HD file just to verify that it was okay since I would be showing it at our Christmas dinner tonight, and found that after the opening two title slides, the pictures were a complete mess. Most of the time it didn't show them at all, and when it did it didn't show them properly. So I checked the SD version, and it had exactly the same issue. Music on both tracks played along just fine, however. I tested both files in four media players (Nero, Quicktime, Windows, and Chrome) and all four (on two computers) showed the same issues.
I had worked the project with EVERYTHING (project file, stills, music, etc.) sitting on my desktop, which I know is a no-no. So I moved the stills and music to my data array, moved the project to my export disc (my project array is down right now, pending a new disk arriving tomorrow) and then tried again doing the Vimeo HD export. This time I got about 60 seconds into the export process and got thrown an error from the NVIDIA OpenGL driver saying "Your hardware configuration does not meet the minimum specifications needed to run the application. The application must close. Please visit http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html for help. Error code: 7." I hit "OK" and ultimately had to reboot the computer before I could get Premiere to open again.
I reopened the project, turned CUDA off, and redid the Vimeo HD export after rendering my timeline, and the finished product (which took 65 minutes to export instead of the original 14) looks perfect.
Just for kicks I tried it again just now with CUDA back on, and got the same error.
Anybody know what's going on?Hmm... Ok, so I took that project and tried importing it to a new project, still with no luck. Then I tried taking that project and creating a new timeline by dragging one of the stills to the new item icon so that I'd get whatever PrPro decided was the best timeline, and still no luck. Then I tried creating a new project and importing different footage and it worked. Tells me perhaps there's something wrong with the stills? I know not to use overly-large stills in a project, but they're all around 4k resolution or smaller... so surely that's not too big, right? 412 stills total 1.5GB which means an average of about 2.5 MB per file... certainly not too big. I even had a couple video clips in the timeline that were shot with a point-and-shoot still camera, and I tried taking those out just in case it was something in those, and still no success.
So, ultimately this project got exported without CUDA, and I'm okay... but I also am wondering what caused the problem? I do a fair amount with stills (not a lot, but enough) and I need it to work... do I just go on with life, assuming that it was some weird fluke? Or do I try a complete wipe and reinstall of OS and Programs?
Oh, one other tidbit... whenever PrPro crashed and closed, the application itself wouldn't close. I have to go into the program manager and force quit it...
Thoughts? Recommendations? -
i have just updated my old 3GS and now when i am on restore the window is comming up and asking for a password. i have not set up a password for restore, please help how i can restore my date???

I can't download Mavericks. I have 10.7.5 OS. I had my computer worked on and now iPhoto is gone and it won't let me re-download it until I have 10.9 or higher. PLEASE HELP
iphoto is on grey disk 2 (applications/apple hardware test) that originally came with the computer.

I had to change my user ID because I used my email at my old job and now the old one keeps popping up and I can't sync my phone or authorize my computer at work to sync my phone. I have a new user ID and PW that allows me into ITUNES but that old one won't go away. Any help? Thanks
Hi, you can't change which ID was used to purchase any app. However, you can edit your Apple ID, which may be a better option than using a new id.

I updated my iphone 4s on my computer - I lost a lot of pictures - it gave me messages that I had sent back in June and now it wont allow me to play any of my itunes on my phone - any got any solutions to what I should do? HELP
I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -
