Help! Please, help! Can't access iTunes 7 library!
I loaded my iTunes this morning, and it was comletely blank. Not the iPod, but the iTunes. I had over 600 songs, all from CDs on there, and they're all gone. iTunes says that all my songs are in a different library, but when I do the shift-double click, only one shows up and that's the blank one! Please, help!
If I hook up the iPod, it warns me that if I continue, it will erase everything on the iPod! It won't let me import CD's either? Please, help - I've only had it for 5 days!
Nope - that did nothing. Does the iPod have to be connected to do it? Simply "authorizing" does nothing - "i out of 5 machines has been authorized", and its still blank

Since downloading the latest iTunes update I get the following error message every time I click on my iTunes Store:
'ITUNES COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE ITUNES STORE. THE NETWORK CONNECTION WAS REFUSED.
MAKE SURE YOUR NETWORK SETTINGS ARE CORRECT AND YOUR CONNECTION IS ACTIVE, THEN TRY AGAIN'
(Message in not in capitals, obviously)
But.... my network settings are correct (I think - what does this mean?!) - and the connection works fine.
What could be wrong? Has anyone else had this problem? And how would I fix it? Please advise - thank you!
vaio Windows XPAre you running Norton Internet Security or anything similar? There have been reports that Norton and similar firewall products treat an upgrade as a new application and so you have to go in and reallow connections for iTunes. Check the settings and if necessary remove and re-enable the exception for iTunes (consult your privacy filter's documentation for the appropriate procedure). You may also need to check the built-in Windows firewall as well.

Hi, I can't seem to get my ipod 32gb 4th gen to sync with itunes. It's brand new, but everytime I plug it in it says can't access Itunes store and nothing else happens. I enabled my firewall to allow itunes but it still can't access the store. Please help.
If you look at the feed, and look at the entry 'The end to an exciting field season in Aulavik National Park' you will see the line:
<pubDateFri, 29 Jul 2011 04:00:00 GMT</pubDate>
You have not closed the 'pubdate' tag - there should be a '>' as the 9th character. Because the tag has been left open, it invalidates everything which follows it, and thus the entire feed. iTunes therefore cannot read it, which is why the Store has not updated. Add the '>' and republish, and all should be well.
It's always worth checking your feed by subscribing manually, from the 'Advanced' menu, or by clicking the 'subscribe free' button on the Store page (both do the same thing) - if you can subscribe to the feed it should be OK. -

I can't access iTunes on my MacBookPro. I double-click it, it bounces a few times, then nothing happens. I think it happened as a result of me tinkering around with my user name / password on the MacBook. I was trying to set up an account for my cousin so he can use the computer also, but I think I temporarily changed MY user / password. Is this some sort of security feature? Help please!
Run Software Update, wait till all the updates have finished downloading then restart the mac.

I have just upgraded to 10.8 on my macbook pro and now I can't access itunes, videos and there is no sound - anyone help?
It is an old macbook pro probably 6yo with the back lit keys - not under applecare anymore obviously. I downloaded the upgrade last night which took quite a while longer than it should have.

My OS is windows 8.1. Today when going onto itunes it asked me to update to 11.something so I dd. Now I can't access itunes at all. Keep getting an error message. error 127. I've tried repairing. Uninstalling and re installing. Can't seem to contact anyone at apple to get support - just keep going around and arond on their contact page.
Log in to the Developer forum. You will find instructions on how to install the lastest beta. Your problem is the beta you have installed has expired. All of them did on October 5; you will find hundreds of threads discussing this. If you have a beta it is assumed that you will continue as a beta tester, so a simple update using iTunes will not work.
If you no longer want to be a beta tester install the GM 7.0.2 by restoring from iTunes using DFU mode. -
I have over 350 songs that were lost on mutliple devices in an accident.The original computer and Ipod were lost. My account has been the same for years but I can't access my old library. Help!!
<Email Edited by Host>Whatever you bought from iTunes is yours forever and can be downloaded as many times as you want. This assumes what you purchased is still available in the Store.
Here is the procedure for your reference.
On a computer, launch iTunes. Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
"Sign in" using the Apple ID used to purchase your songs, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.
Whatever you have that did not originate from iTunes will have to be obtained from whatever means you used to obtain it in the past. -

may you please assisst me get itunes on my phone please.You don't install iTunes on your phone. iTunes is a program that runs on your computer. As RG asked, please explain more clearly what it is you are trying to accomplish.

You may think you are connected to the internet, but maybe not. Click on Safari and see if it connects.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I can't access itunes store on my pc
Since downloading itunes 10.5 update I can not access itunes store on my pc and could before. The status bar stalls halfway. I uninstalled itunes and re-installed it and that didn't help. I use Google Chrome as mysearch engine instead of IE. I even tried avarything using IE and get same results. I even tried the trick of adding to the end of the link for the proxy settings and this didn't work. out of ideas......HELP!

How come I can't access itunes when I could yesterday?
How come I can't access itunes when i could yesterday? When I hooked up my iphone to sync it asked me to reset phone to factory settings! I don't think so! Then when I tried to download update it won't do it.
On my iPod touch I don't have a spotlight search icon or option available. Also under my settings and general there is no "restriction" options or settings. I reset the iPod several times and that doesn't work.
The thing is the music that is on my iPod is not all in my iTunes library so I can never sync automatically. Also if i restore to factory settings then it will erase what i have on my iPod and not in my library. I always manually add songs. When I plug in my iPod and i go under Summary...the only other tabs are music, tv shows, photos and info. There is no Apps tab. When i plug in my iPhone i do get the apps tab.
I got my iTouch awhile ago....is it possible that this is why i can't get apps?? I got the iTouch back in 2008.
Ughhh this is so frustrating. I just want to get this one app on my iPod Touch. Please help!!
