Help please help me out phone stuck on itunes
i need help my iphone 4 got stuck with an itunes screen an doesnt come off itunes does not recognize it when i plug it the cord is good i tunes is working cuz i tryed my wifes phone an it works fine but when i plug my phone it does not recognize it this happen after i tried to update it to the newest version then when it was suppose to get restored i got an error message that said my found could not be restored any thing will help thanks guys
Make sure your case is not obstructing the usb to dock connector cable when you plug it in (you might try removing the case just to be sure). Also examine the dock connector on the bottom of the phone to be sure there isn't any debris on it that would interfere with a good connection. And make sure you are using a usb to dock connector cable that you know works (such as the one that is working with your wife's phone). If you iTunes still won't recognize your phone, but it does recognize your wife's phone, then you may have a hardware problem, and you would need to take it to the Apple store (if you can) or an authorized reseller for evaluation.

Help!! phone stuck in recovery mode
Hello, I really hope somebody can help me.
I tired to do the new ios update (7.0) but it asked me to plug it in to itunes, when u did this it's in recovery mode and now will not come out of it. I cant turn my phone on at all so it is not usable!! Help!!!

Tries updating iPhone 4S with iOS 6, update failed and now phone stuck on itunes logo
So i tried updating my iPhone last night to ios 6. Soon after the update began, iTunes said an error occurred and the installation stopped. now my phone is stuck on the itunes logo with a usb plug under it. I have tried everything i know of. turning the phone on and off/trying the reset thing with the power/home button does nothing. plugging into the wall does nothing. when i plug the phone into my computer, the sound of a device being connected happens, but iTunes does not recognize a device. no message pops up about a device in recovery mode or anything. I uninstalled then reinstalled everything apple-related, did not fix the problem. I'm not overly tech-savvy, but if anyone has any suggestions, lemme know please. ive spent well over 5 hours trying to fix this thing to no avail
OK i figured it out. you have to put it in DFU mode before itunes will recognize the phone.

IOS 7.0.4 update crashed phone - stuck on iTunes and plug screen
Attempted to install the latest update and phone just got stuck on a black screen with the iTunes icon and the USB icon underneath. I have attempted to power off/on countless times. I have also tried to hold the power and home button down at the same time to reset. I have followed the directions on Apple to reset it as well; plugging the USB into my Mac and holding down the power/home button at the same time while putting the plug in the phone. No luck. I am to the point now I am attempting to restore the whole phone. While restoring it says it is in recovery mode (still stuck on the same screen for about 18 hours now).
Frustrated and disappointed with Apple. Was already irritated that the battery life has been a nightmare since initial 7 install and now this. I am concerned that I will have NOTHING on my iPhone when and if I get it fixed. I am most concerned about losing my contacts. I realize things may be retrievable, but this is all unnecessary if the frequent updates would just work right to begin with.
To make things worse, I work in a public education institution going to 1:1 iPad initiative and one of two people responsible for making sure the iPads are working properly. We will soon have to update every iPad (over 800) and concerned what issues this update will do to our iPads.
I have searched online and others have experienced this same issue.I guess you have never experienced an update to Windows? It's software. Sometimes things don't go as planned. It could be a misbehaving app that caused the problem.
Try another device, one of your 800 iPads and see if you have any problems before you make a judgement. I have updated 4 IOS devices without a problem. -
Is there any way to regain access to phone stuck on itunes connect screen?
My iphone 4S is requiring me to connect to itunes via USB to do the latest software update, 8.1.2. The phone is just locked out of any normal functionality, just the itunes connect screen.
I have tried to just do an update for the software, but it says I have to do a factory restore and will lose all photos, videos, documents, etc.
I am guessing this is because I have less that 1G of free space.
Is there any way I can gain access of the phone to delete stuff I do not need on there, so I can update successfully?

Create iTune and App Store account without credit card
1. Go to App Store and select a free app
2. Tap INSTALL APP
3. Create New Apple ID
4. Confirm Your Country

I changed the name of my apple id and now I can't use the app store on my phone correctly because it's using my apple id's old name. I signed out and in on itunes and synced my iphone. Still doesn't work. Help please?
Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with. -

I am facing a weird problem with my iphone 4s Wi-Fi connectivity. As i connect my iphone to my office Wi-Fi, internet works in one building, but it doesnt work in the other building, although the phone shows Wi-Fi is connected in the other building. No one here can help you, & Apple can't/won't help you. Fact is, there is no way to get that iPhone officially unlocked. Only Softbank can authorize the official unlocking of your phone, but they won't. Softbank does not offer official unlocking for any iPhone.

Did you buy your phone unlocked from Apple or did you have the original carrier unlock it? Or did you have some third party unlock it for you? If the latter, and you are trying to set the phone up with a different carrier than the original, you're going to have problems as the update most likely reversed the unauthorized unlock.

I upgraded my phone to IS6.1 - please note that I have always stuck to apples software and never tried to jailbreak it
On sat the phone just switched off despite having 20% battery left and wouldn't switch back on
When I plugged it into the mains the apple logo appeared after 3 mins and then displays a grey screen with IS06 displayed, I then slid the slider bar across and entered by password. This then displayed the docking sign - it wanted to connect to iTunes. I unplugged the iPhone to connect to my PC and the phone died again.
When I connect to the PC it never fires up. It displays the apple logo for 5secs and then switches off for 3 secs and continues in a loop.
I have tried charging for a day, replaced the battery (displays 100% full) and still the same thing happens time and time again
I have held the power and home button switch on and off and makes no difference
I have also tried holding the power button, plugging the phone into the PCM and then pressing the home button in hope that the iTunes docking sign would appear, but nothing
Convinced this is a software issue
The phone is out of warranty
Does anybody have any ideas.

Now the first question is, when you are saying connecting to personal hotspot, have you always been using the iPhone to connect to the internet? Are you someplace where the only place to connect is available via tethering to the iPhone's celluar network? Or do you have other options?
