I accidentally interrupted the SMC Firmware Update and now I have a plethora of problems.
Please, can you lead me to a restore solution?

Call Apple. You may need a new logic board. There is no software fix for it.

Can anybody help me how to restore my iphone. or what to do next, some reseller asked me to go the shop where I bought to replace it for me as this error cannot be restored by any shop. It has to be returned to apple and get it replaced. The warranty already expired and don't know what to do.

I keep getting this error (F3-FF00-0006) when trying to do a system recovery on a Toshiba Satellite L500 Laptop that was running W7. The Toshiba support site say's to download the HDD Recovery Update 1.0.0.4 and install it. I can download it on another computer and put it onto a disk, but if the L500 I am trying to do a recovery on is all but useless...how do I get the update onto it to fix this recovery error!!!
This seems to be a flaw in Toshibas logic here. There are no instructions on what to do with the update, any help will be most appreciated. Oh, I have put the update on a disk and put into the DVD drive of the L500...and am still getting the same error

Have ordered Recovery disks from Toshiba support at $66 the set. See if that sorts out my problem.

How to restore Firmware on Z10

i have massive problems with my Z10:
-> Freezing Keyboard or hanging Apps (rarely)
Most problem is Telephone module:
If i try to call some thru BT on my car, and receiver is not responding/or call cannot connect to another phone, the Z10 phone app is completely in hanging mode like:
Call will be end -> but nothing appears
Cannot make a call further -> app let me not type a phone number
So iam not sure if this is a Hardware problem or more software.
Z10 is up2date
But i tried now several time to restore firmware.
I was making security wipe.
Can some help me with a step by step instructions?

While officially, you shouldn't do this (according to the KB,) I can confirm this method will reload the OS to the Z10. I did it on mine last night. If you don't have a backup you will lose your data. Since there is no control over what databases are restored I didn't do a restore. I just started over.

How to restore when during update, got 'connect to itunes" icon, no option to restore?

I was doing the latest update, but something went wrong and I got an update failed message. iPod touch had "connect to itunes" icon. iTunes did have a restore button, but only for an instant, and it went away (stupid robo-call rang, and I may have jumped). Now iTunes won't give me a restore option, and sync option in File/devices is grayed out.
Itunes also doesn't recognize the iPod when I plug it in, although the computer knows it's there. (Makes a sound when I connect it.)
I have rebooted computer, checked iTunes is latest version.
Tried the solution of holding down power and home buttons. The apple icon came up, but then it went immediately to the "connect to itunes" message.
I haven't tried the solutions that require you download a jailbreak program. Hope that isn't necessary.
Looked all over the internet, and haven't found a situation described where iTunes took away the restore option. Can someone help me?

- Try another cable
- Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
- If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

How to restore apps after update

I have an IPad2 with 4.3.5 and due to some of the newer apps I was forced to upgrade to the newer 6.1.3
before i updated the IOS i backed up with the itune to my laptop.
i than installed the new ISO, when it is finished it acted as it is a new IPad there were none of my old apps. my pics did move over.
I than clicked on restore under the backups and it took about 8mins and when it finished I still had nothing on my Ipad??
is there is a way to restore my old apps or i have to redownload everything due to the newer IOS?

Is this how you restore from iTune Backup?
1. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
2. You'll be asked twice to confirm
3. You'll see Apple logo and progress bar
4. You'll see a big iPad logo on screen
5. Configuration start
6. Set language
7. Set country
8. Select Network and input Password>Join
9. Enable Location Service>Next
10. You'll be given 3 options (a) Setup as New iPad (b) Restore from iCloud Backup (c) Restore from iTune Backup
11. Select Restore from iTune Backup
12. You will see picture of USB cable pointing towards iPad
13. Connect iPad to iTune (make sure iTune is on standby)
14. Tap Continue (computer)
15. Restore iPad from Backup (computer)
16. See progress bar with estimated time (computer)
17. See Restore in Progress on iPad
18. See Apple logo
19. See Apple and Progress Bar
20. Slide to Unlock

You can't. Part of the restore process involves updating the iOS.
The only reason why you wouldn't want to update your iOS is because your phone is jailbroken. Jailbroken phones cannot be discussed on this forum.

If you deleted the partition you'll need to use BootCamp to recreate the partition.

Without internet connection there is no way for you restore the iPad.

I just accidently hit restore in time machine (i photo) and don't want to restore the thousands of photos. How do I cancel? I get a message asking whether to "keep original" Keep both" or "replace". I cana't close this window as the button is greyed. See below. If I select "keep original" will I restore all the ones I have deleted? I am working with I Mac OS10.5.8 and I Photo '08
