Help Please I can't print IE or Safari with 10.4.4
Can anybody HELP ME PLEASE. I have upgraded to 10.4.4 and now I can't print from Internet Explorer or Safari. I don't have any problems with Mail or any other programs. I just can't print any web pages and I need to do that often.
I have tried all the trouble shooting from the Apple site and nothing works. Everything seems good. I am using a HP all-in-one 2200 series printer. I have updated the driver for it to 3.0.1.
Please don't get really technical with answers, cause I'm a mechanic not a programer:)
Please do a search on the forum for "safari blank pages" or something similar. I believe that a workaround to this problem appeared a little while ago. Hope this helps.

It's more likely a failed Erase Free Space, which creates a huge temporary file; that's why it looks like you have no more available drive space. You can recover from this. See these links

i have apps to be updated but when i try to update them a message pops out saying "You have updates for other accounts, please sigh in with the other id". Can some one help me how can i still update the same with the new apple id ive created. As i dont have the access to the earlier id anymore.
You cannot. The apps are assigned to that Apple ID and there is nothing you can do to change that. You could choose to download them again with the new Apple ID, any paid apps will need to be purchased again.

Open the Mac App Store and try downloading Yosemite. If you get told it's incompatible, the computer's also incompatible with Mountain Lion and Mavericks; if desired, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Xeon or Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU and 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Back up your data and check your applications for compatibility before upgrading. In particular, Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC programs such as versions of Microsoft Office prior to 2008.

Why would you allow firefox to update computer web-browsers if you have an idea that it will no longer work after the update? And why would you not include instructions for, how to fix the problem? Help Please! Can I go back to the old one?

[email protected]Mozilla, like many other software companies, thoroughly test their software before releasing it to the public and I'm sure that no problem you are having is intentional.
I do not work for Mozilla but I do have experience of releasing software for public usage.
Firefox has no way of knowing what other software is already on your computer and with millions of combinations it isn't always possible to test for every scenario.
You can go back to the old version of Firefox but that won't always solve your problem.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use -

I would try updating through a computer. Just make sure that your computer has the latest itunes

Can I print from my ipad with an wireless printer and an apple app or do I have to have an air printer?
It depends on the printer and if it is shared on your home network.
I have a wireless HP printer, but it is not an E Printer and cannot print directly from my mobile device. I purchased an Epson all in one E Printer so that I could print from my tablet. THe printer cost me less than $90 at Walmart.

Help please! Can't sync ipod with itunes among other problems
I reset my ipod deleting all information on it. Whenever I turn it on with the button on the top left the apple is lighted for awhile and then the screen fades to black. This is all my ipod touch does. My itunes doesn't recognize my ipod touch either. I thought that once I reset the ipod it would easily sync with itunes and put all my music, videos, and apps on it. Help please.

Under your post is says that you are using a docking charger to sync it????? Try using the cord that came with the ipod.
Can you get into the ipod to use it or is that all it does.
If you have jailbroken your ipod, this could be the reason for the problem.
You could also try holding the home and top left (on/off) button at the same time and wait until the apple logo come up.

Help please it is a printing problem through airport express from pc
Sorry I'm new on here too but I didn't get help with my last problem at all but I was able to figured it out on my own. No luck with the following problem though.
Here is the problem My printer works I can print from my Mac but not from my pc. It recognizes it and it says printing and the printer actually uses a page but it comes out clean/clear. I can print to this printer from my mac like I said but not from my pc. I have rebooted, restarted and deleted and installed the printer back again, but still nothing. I mean it works, it just doesn't print anything on the page. Just a blank page. The printer is connected to an airport express and it works and it has been restarted and everything. The printer was jump started too. It works great with my mac but my pc can not print to it. I have another printer connected to my airport extreme base and that one can be used by both my mac and my pc. It works just fine. So Why won't this other printer work with my pc but yes with my mac. Both printers are connected to the network through AEBS and AX through usb, Not directly to any computers. Both printers are HP photosmart allinone 2575 working just fine with both and HP 6210 officejet all in one printer working only with the mac. Remember it is responsive with my pc and it says printing and it actually grabs a page and prints it out blank. Oh and it does have ink, I have made sure.

I am just installed the trial of iWork Numbers and can't print or save and get an error stating that I must buy it before i can save. It's extremely annoying as I can't put it to the test because everything I create in he trial must be lost. I also find iWork really slow compared to Excel (on Windows). in Excel moving from one cell to the adjacent cell is about a millisecond/instant, but in Numbers it takes about 30ms.
I read to correct the print/save error, I should delete the iWork plist. I tried that deleting it from my account and from the system. It made no difference.
For now my best option is to use an online service like Zoho. Can anyone help?It's sad that you're going to lose data... maybe someone could have helped if you'd given some info like what kind of Mac, what version of the OS, what app you were running, etc.

Help! I can't print from an executable.
I've written a vi which prints a barcode to a small brother label printer and compiled it into an executable. Both the exe and vi print when the printer is connected to my computer, but when I move it to the target machine it won't print. The program seems to run fine, but nothing happens when I send the print command, nothing appears in the print manager. There are three printers connected to this machine (2 local and one network), and I can't print to any of them using a labview executable, but can using other programs (microsoft word). Using the "queary available printers" function, all three printers show up. Any ideas why I can't get anything to actually print out? Is there a source file I need to add when building an executable?
Both computers are running windows XP service pack 2. I am using Labview 8.5, third quarter 2007.

Philip.Sorry I wasn't very clear in my original question. My goal is to print from an executable on a computer which does not have Labview 8.5 installed (It does have the runtime engine installed). The printer is connected locally to this machine and I'm trying to print three lines of text by creating a new report, printing it, then closing it, all using the report generation tools.
I'm desiginating the printer by just using a text control wired to the printer name input of the print report vi. I havn't wired the output of the queary printers to the print report vi, but I have copied and pasted this text manually to make sure the name was right.
How do I build a debuggable exe to check for errors? This sounds useful!
I have found a work around for this problem, which was to create an installer for the executable and include every single additional installer. I'm not sure which one it needed, but my executable worked after this was installed.
Do you have any idea which additional installer was needed as creating a 1 gig install file and installing this on multiple machines takes a lot of time!

Help! I can't print to HP Printer across LAN
I can't print on my HP psc 1350xi all in one scanner and printer from my iMac G5 across my LAN. The printer is connected to my old iMac 600 MHz computer, running 10.2.8, through the USB 1 port, and the two iMacs are networked through a wired Linksys router. The G5 iMac can find the printer on the network, but it won't let me add it as a device. When I was using 10.4.2 on the G5 it worked just fine across the network. But, since I upgraded to 10.4.5 the Add button in the print selection pane fails to highlight when selecting the printer.
I went to HP's website and followed their instructions to un-install and reload new driver software which was dated 1-2006. This didn't help at all.
Does anyone have any idea how to get the G5 iMac to add the printer across the LAN?

I would suggest three things:
1. Reinstall the latest combo update (10.4.5)
2. Repair disk permission from Disk Utility
3. Create a new user and try to install the printer

Printing a phone book (or an 'Address Book" as ontacts Help refers to it) is done directly from Contacts, and does not involve Pages. Details are available in Contacts' Help files. Try searching 'print phone book' (without the quotes).
