Help please - I cannot lose data!

I am so sad and disappointed at Nokia. I have always had Nokia phones and never had a problem. But this time...
In december 2005 my birthday present was a Nokia 6111. Since then, a lot happened in my life and it was all stored in that phone. Specially messages, either from the happy days before my son was conceived, as from the very bad days when his dad left him and wanted him to die. Those are precious memories for us and evidence for court if needed.
Plus, may videos I made in India, where I am sure I will not return... photos from the last vacations... and about 800 contacts.
As many other 6111 from what I read on this forum, what happened was it stopped turning on, it wouldn't allow me to login. I took it for repair at Nokia shop. They say it was the flexible part and that most data would be retrievable.
Well, when I went to pick it up, they said no data was recovered. None at all. I couldn't believe that. I broke down crying at the store. It's a huge part of my life that is gone. I cannot accept this.
My cellphone is as good as new in terms of handling. No one could say I caused the damage, as all my old Nokias are at home old but working fine. I feel Nokia has let me down, they failled in all they were obliged.
They said the software was blocked, the phone memory was "dead". I am wondering if anyone here knows of a wise expert who would do the so needed miracle for me. I really don't care about the phone, I think I may just smash it against the wall when I go pick it up again, but I need the data. Desperatly. Please, anyone, can you help me?

Well, i deal with that situation almost daily
Let me just say before i start, i am very sorry for what happened to you, but,
First, as psychomania as said, you can never trust an electrical equipment with something such valuable as what you seem to had.
Second, Nokia does offer you a variety of options to backup everything you have stored in your equipment. For example, Nokia PC Suite and My Nokia Backup.
Third, about recovering, that is really hard. Something thats usually not hard is your contact list. SMS/MMS is almost impossible. Your gallery files, i'd say about a 5% to 10% chance to save it.
I would gladly try this for you, free of charge, i have all the equipment and software available to do it, but I'm from Portugal, and unless you're thinking about coming here soon, you better start searching someone around your area
You could send it over mail, but then there is the trust issue
If you ever decide to come here, send me a PM so i can tell you where i work. Just remember one thing, maybe its possible to save it all, and maybe its impossible to recover anything at all.
