HELP Please, I NEED to know HOW to upgrade from iPhoto 8.1.2 to the latest

I cannot find link where to buy the upgrade to iPhoto 9 in the app store which will enable further updates.
Need to do this before updating to OSX Yosemite.
I do not want or need the entire ilife 11 suite just the iPhoto component.
Can anyone provide the link please? :-)

If you are using Safari as a web browser :-
Open Safari, go to Safari menu > Preferences > General, and put Google as the homepage. Then, choose Google as your default search engine.
If you are using Google Chrome as the web browser :-
Open Google Chrome.
In the top right corner of the page, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu > Settings.
In the "Search" section, select Google from the drop-down menu.

Time Machine is a back up you have to set up to back up before there is a problem like a hard drive failure.
It is possible to recover files from a failed drive, but it is an expensive proposition.
There is a faint hope that an app like Disk Warrior or TechTool Pro might repair the drive. You could try making an appointment at an Apple store and ask a technician there to take a look... the diagnosis will not cost you.

Does anyone know how to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3 ios?

After being tricked by the fast talking smoothy helper at Apple store in London to buy a micky mouse ipodtouch (fourth generation) two years ago I am stuck at ios 4.1 and find that all the useful applications need 4.3 or more. So I went to the trouble of letting the macbook stay open all night to load yet another micky mouse version of itunes so that I can upload the more recent version of ios and now (since I don't want to continually have a lot of rubbish on the ipod I disabled the automatic sync "feature") I can only go round in circles whereby the only real possibility left is to turn on the autosync feature. I have had messages like "your ipod will be completely erased if you proceed" and "do you wish to fiddle another few days with this nasty system, then click on continue" and so on.
Does anyone know how to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3 ios?
That would be great (maybe) because otherwise I will toss this children's waste product on the floor and set up my HD camera to show how easy it is to smash the brightly lit screen into pieces and relieve myself of trash which Apple sell to unsuspecting gullible humans who believe that they are not being tricked by such a nice company who produce shiny colourful gadgets which only work for a month or two before becoming 100% obsolete.
Great to hear from those who have wasted many months of their lives and discovered how to trick the system into doing a simple update operation!

1. There is nothing "mobile" under Application Support. For whatever reason.
2. Devious - that Apple has set up iPod to not show in Finder - a red herring and sign that corruption is visible.
I will try iFunBox next and it sounds like they provide this for the more serious users but use a trivial name to excuse further strangeness.

and so we are back to where we always land - the user is left in the Apple designed sabotage situation which annoyed me so much initially.

Recheck: Under Application Support "mobilesync" folder has appeared (MobileMeSyncClient has also appeared [while again trying to update iPod] with zero size) - Good news, a Backup file is there, but it is only 3GB while my iPod has 32GB and is close to full (800MB free space).

So it looks like I may have lost all the important pictures documenting various items all around Europe for the last two years - luckily I moved a year ago from the iPod toy camera to a Panasonic real camera with SD card which can be read on any computer. Hence important items lost may only be older than one year rather than the most recent items.
Glad I have changed to Panasonic since they don't try to screw you when you don't use their system.
I will now check the "more information" rather than just click on "OK" since I am of the 3% who "don't accept cr*p".
For full information I quote that the iPod now shows a screen with a USB ikon, an upward arrow and an iTunes ikon (all micky mouse language which reduces transparant, clear and technical discussion and thus covers the trail of "where things went wrong").

I record much of this activity on Video to be able to later prove EXACTLY what occurred, rather than having to rely on screenshots and opinions. But since I have not removed the USB and keep returning to this message I am able to write for a few seconds (now 30 seconds or more) and the message remains on the screen but not blocking this conversation. It appears to be random but in fact as you can later see from the video, it is not reappearing each periodic number of seconds but as I reach a new comment.
I will try to close iTunes so that this can be stopped (I clicked on OK and it appeared another few times, each time I clicked on ok and now it has left me in peace to write here although iTunes is still not yet closed).
Difficult to log down all the strange behaviour but I think you can get the gist of what is going on.

I typically create a TEST folder on the remote site. Upload new pages and dependant files there for debugging and testing purposes. Then using a 3rd party ftp ware (filezilla, cute ftp or Ws_ftp pro), I move the new site files & folders over to the root directory. If you have used the same filenames as were on the old site, new pages will overwrite the old ones. If you used a different naming convention, you will need to delete old files from server.

11.1.5 is likely to be the version of iTunes you are being asked to run, not the version of Mac OS X.

This is one of the most benign Upgrades Apple has ever issued. The size of the Operating System gets smaller, performance is slightly faster, and very few Applications are left behind. If you have some older PowerPC Applications, you may need to ask to install the Optional Rosetta emulator for PowerPC code when you install.

You can use Smart brush. From tools panel on the left, select Smart brush tool and select Black & White category and select any effect which you wish and start painting over the area to be changed to B/W.To edit your adjustments, you can select Detailed smart brush if you feel more comfortable in using brush than Quick selection tool.

When I open TestStand using a seq. file, I can see all the VI's that are called, but when I try to open them for editing, I see this message;
"The labview adapter is currently configured to run tests in an environment that does not support editing VI's. In order to edit or create VI's, you must select a different labview Active X server in the lab view adapter environment"
So, I clicked on all the options allowed to me in the "Module Adapter" (is this the same as the drop down menu (by default)"Labview Standard Prototype adapters") but I was still unable to open the VI�s for editing�
Anyone know how or why?

You will find the option under Configure | Adapters...then select the labview and press the configure button.
So if you are not able to do this then it could be because your system doesn't have the LabVIEW development system or you do not have adminstrator rights (Teststand login) or it could be that your VI's have been saved without diagrams.
What are you logged in as?
Do you know if you have labVIEW?

        As per your requirement, after the Sales Order is created, what you can do is, you can set up the Message Control Configuration (Setting up the Output Type from NACE for Sales Order) to send the Sales Order Number with the other Information in the form of "Sales Order Confirmation".
This can be done without having to code anything (Unless you have some specific requirement).
NACE / VK01 - To Set up the Condition Type / Output Type
                       For Sales Order Response.
WE20           - Set up the Partner Profiles. Here, you can
                      specify the receipient (PO) so that the concern
                      receipient will get the Order Confirmation which
                      contains the Sales Order Number.
So, after this configuration is complete, whenever there is an Inbound IDoc (PO IDoc), a Sales Order is created and whenever the Sales Order is created, it will create an Order Response IDoc which will contain the Sales Order Number.

An iPad 1 can only be updated to iOS 5.1.1.
If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update.
