Howdy i just got a new laptop and was wondering if i could transfer my itunes libary and playlists from my tower(where the last three yrs worht of my music is) to my laptop with out oo much hassel, i dont have a router can any one help.

Although the method is for an iPod, it is easilly adapted to other methods of moving, including an external HD and copying across a network from one PC to another.
The basic steps are the same what ever medium you use to do the copying.

Try plugging it up to your computer and launching iTunes and either resetting it to factory settings or resetting to last sync. Hopefully it just noticing it's plugged up to iTunes will fix it. This happened to my friend once and all she had to do was plug it into her computer and that fixed it.

Best Buy (only local option) has only a VGA / USB from iogear that scroll lock doesn't work on the Mac and low and behold I'm a d.a. and didn't notice VGA, ie: want/need DVI.
I don't game on my Mac or do high-end video editing but don't want to step down the video quality too much.
Appreciate all of the forthcoming advice.

I need to transfer everything from a ibook G4 to my Pro. Both have the most recent updates and same version OS. I need to get my office programs, all of my itunes account, pics, and other stuff from the ibook to the pro. I only have one OS disk that i used on my ibook, other than that I don't have any more discs.

If you are missing the disc that came with your MacBook Pro, call AppleCare.
If you purchased the machine and it came with no discs, contact the and ask them to contact Applecare if they lost the discs, and give them to you regardless of whether they initially lost the discs. They aren't their's to keep.

Help please! Need to restore my OSX Midi Network driver!

Hello friends, this is the first time i write you guys here.
But heck, i've solved hundreds of problems just reading these boards for some years now!
So yeah, i have been a Touchdaw user for some months and everything went great until
a couple days ago it broke/froze up, even crashing my audio midi setup issue that i managed
to fix (thanks to you guys) by deleting some plist around.
But when i came back today, to set everything up again, i found that there's no NETWORK
icon on the audiomidi setup anymore.
Thing is i can't actually find a single post about this issue anywhere on the web
Someone said that deleting the "com.apple.midi.netsetup" file would restore everything
but..bingo, there's no such file where i believe it used to exist before the crash.
My guess is i need to restore this file somehow, or install a "midi network driver"??
I seriously need this to work again, all my midi instruments are in another room, now i can't
record as comfortable as it used to be with the wireless network and it's making me lose a bunch of time!

I guess i'll have to reinstall my OS, but there's a lot of things that could go wrong...:( i don't know.

Was setting my work Gmail -(laptop is in for service)- used "setting wizard" as always-only had the personal Gmail on my N70 and used the other username by mistake- went to "MESSAGE SETTINGS" "EMAIL" selected "mailbox"- "options"- "remove mailbox" the 1st removed no issues but new mailbox wouldn't remove
-took me to "mailbox in use" thought the "mailbox in use" "gmail" was selected tried to remove and nothing happened, pushed (c) to delete and thought maybe I hadn't pushed it properly-(c) again but realized this froze the phone for a bit (or it was just in a long delay), it frozen with only outlined frames visible for a bit,so I pushed "back" a few times ("back" wasn't visible though) it went back to MESSAGES but 1 or 2 of the folder icon's were now blank with a ? in place of the icon. It wouldn't switch off-tried pushing that back button again (WHICH STIL WASN'T VISIBLE AND NEITHER WAS "OPTIONS") 3 or 4 times but before I realized it started reacting but strangely and delayed and then the rest of the message folder icons were now also gone and replaced with ? and now frozen again. I TOOK THE BATTERY OUT because it wouldn't switch off.
Switched it back on and ALL MY MESSAGES FOR EVERY FOLDER WERE GONE. DRAFT FOLDER VERY IMPORTANT- HAD +/- 10 MESSAGES ABOUT 28SMS LONG THAT I WAS GOING TO COPY AND PASTE (which is why I still N70) INTO EMAILS (which I was trying to create)
I know I chose the option long ago to "SAVE MESSAGES TO PHONE" when I first got the phone.
I'm quite knowledgeable with Computer Tech and would have just "restored to previous time" but 2 things- I don't know if it's possible on a "sort of smartphone" and 2: I don't even remember when last I ever did the "back-up phone to memory card"
I have found a data doctor: it "says it's a tool to restore deleted, erased or accidentally lost text messages, phone book saved contact numbers from mobile phone sim card." but it needs a usb sim reader (which I could try get) and the data doctor is quite expensive

I am an intern in a research center and to do my experiment I need to use Labview. I have already managed to make VI for the signal generation and the aquisition data. But now I have to identify the transfer functin from the stimulus signal and the response signal. I would like to display the Bode diagramme and to identify thr transfer function itself.
It is quiet urgent I have to to this by the end f the week.

The questions in this thread are really regarding System Identification. The only way to do this is using the System Identification Toolkit. LabVIEW by itself cannot do this. Once the model (transfer function, state space, etc..) has been acquired through the use of this tool, more complex design and simulation processes can be done using the Control Design and Simulation Module

Help, please - I need a box to pop-up when user hovers over a field with their mouse??

I created a form with several drop-down fields / questions. I would like to create a box that pops up when the person who is filling out the form hovers over the question/ field with his or her mouse. The box would contain additional information about the question that the person might consider before they select the answer. I don't want to clutter the form (and not all form-filler-outers will want or need to see the additional information) so I want it to pop up when the person hovers over the question with their mouse.
Can someone provide some help with how I can do this?

To follow on from radzmar, here is a summary of the features that are available/restricted depending on how you deploy your form.
There are two ways to apply Reader rights, one is using Acrobat Standard (v9) or Acrobat Professional (v8). The other is using an Adobe server product called LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES2.
You don't need script to apply the Reader rights to your form. Once you have applied the rights, users with Reader will be able to save the data in the form, however there may still be other restrictions in place, like attaching documents to the form or exporting XML data.

Help please, I need a line graph from a chart with existing data.

I am trying to put together a form for tracking my weaight loss. I have decided on a format that I like, but I can't figure out how to create a line graph to represent the chart that collects the data. The graph will need to begin with the "start weight" and track all chages throught the 42 cells until the final "net loss."
Does anyone know how to set this up as a line graph? Your help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.
