Help please: Large photos do not appear in album...

I am having difficulty viewing the large photos in iphoto. All of the photos appear in the "thumbnail size", but when i want to view them "screen size", only the small size photos appear - when i try to view a larger photo, nothing but white screen...is there a "blanket approach" i can apply that wil let me view all my photos? i have about 4000 photos scanned, large and small.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

HELP Keyword Tags - Photos do not appear under Keyword

At the moment I am just trying to get my head round how the LR works and I am looking at the Library.
I'm using Windows XP.
I have imported a few hundred photos and they can clearly be seen in two folders that replicate the actual folders on the hard disk.
I have assigned a number of keywords to these photographs. However, when I want to see the photographs allocated to a particular keyword nothing appears. I get a note just above the Film Strip that says something like:
"Keyword Tags / [Selected Keyword] / 0 of ### photos"
LR obviosly knows that ### photos have been assigned to the selected keyword but it does not display them. I've spent hours trying to get this working and before the men in white coats come and drag me away can somebody please give some indication where I'm going wrong.

I guess I have'nt played with it as much as you have, and you don't use keywords. Doesn't make sense, though keywords should be context sensitive to search a Collection or Folder rather than only all photographs. More powerful selective searching that way.
Can't check it now because LR is tied up in a Wifi Reference import to my laptop.

Photos do not appear in albums.

I've used iCloud to stream 50 photos (.png files) to "My Photo Stream" on my iPhone 4S. They get there. Selected 4 of those photos, created new album, saved. The New album gets created, but only contains 1 photo. ?
I then go back to "My Photo Stream" and select the missing 3 images and save to existing album, select the same album name and it appears to save them into the album, but when I go there, still only the one.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
If they're in an Album then they're in the Library somewhere. One common reason for this problem is that the pics are not where you expect them, as the date on the camera is wrong.
If you want to track down the specific event a pic is in, then simply select the pic in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File' or 'Show Original File' if that's available. A Finder window will pop open and you'll be able to trace the Event name from that.

My photos do not appear on the page when I publish the site within the computer.
Also the hyper linl mwnu at the top of every page are not there either when published.

Ok, I will dig deep into my computer software boxes and look for the discs that came with the computer.

why do videos from a shared photo stream not appear in iPhoto? Within iMovie, it appears as though videos can be imported from the iPhoto library. However, within iPhoto there are no videos that appear within the Library. Is it possible to import photos into iPhoto from a shared photo stream? if not, how can videos be imported into iPhoto?

TS3322 Photos do not appear in order on apple tv

Synced photos do not appear in order when viewed on apple tv. Shuffle is turned off, have downloaded photos from 2 cameras on computer & saves them in folder, renamed them so they are in correct order but when viewed on apple tv they are not in correct order. Photos do not appear properly on MyWay homepage.

When I do a restart of my laptop and open Firefox, my homepage (MyWay.com) opens properly showing photos. See attachment. After closing Firefox, and then reopening it, the photo do not appear, and the wheel in the upper left hand corner goes round and round like it is attempting to download something. Something is happening after I close the Firefox browser that seems to be causing this problem.

When opening e-mails on the Yahoo mail website, inline photos do not appear. This occurs only with Firefox.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

• convert it into streamingDV .dv or AIC and use this.

On certain sites, some lines have the lower half missing. Changing the font or its size does not help. The error does not appear with Iceape or Chromium.

I looks that the whole line doesn't fit in the container, so the bottom part is cut off. The usual cause is that a font is used that takes more vertical space, so any increase or changes from the font in what the website prescribes can cause this issue. I've seen web pages that were even affected by changing the minimum font size from none to 1 (!). If you do not have the font installed that the website specifies then Firefox will fallback to another (default) font that may have different dimensions.

Album artwork does not appear in album list or grid

I added album artwork (did get info then copy and paste) and it shows up fine in cover flow but does not appear in album list or grid view.
What am I doing wrong? Artwork files were scanned from album covers that I have.

Your album artwork cache may be corrupt. Provided most, if not all, of your artwork is embedded you can simply delete the Album Artwork folder that you will find inside your main iTunes folder and then scroll slowly through the library in Grid/Albums mode to rebuild it. Any images that were "downloaded" rather than embedded will need to be reacquired.
Threre are separate folders for the downloaded and cached images, but I've always gone for a complete rebuild so I don't know it would work to delete just the cached folder.

Please Help! "marching ants" do not appear anymore

After many years of the marching ants (15 or so), they all of a sudden do not appear when I "select" something. I have had CS5 for around a year and they have been working just fine. One minute they were normal, and now they are not. It is so frustrating not to have them; I just have a solid line — not good. I looked into the preferences several times, but could not find anything to address this.
