Help Please! My contacts list wont sync.

Hi i have to blackberrys both curve and i wanted to change to the second one but when i tried sending the contacs to microsoft outlook to transfer to the second blackberry and also save it on my destop but instead it cut the contacs in half and put the same contacts list name for both and one of them cant sync and i have tried various things like backing up deleting and installing again but nothing is working because i cant back up what cant get recognized to get syncronized any ideads?

It's a bit difficult to understand your situation...lacking any punctuation (save for the ? at the end), parsing your post into useful information is difficult. I think that you are trying to switch from one device to a new one, and are having some difficulties with the Contact List -- exactly what those difficulties are, I'm not quite able to understand from your post.
The simplest method to switch devices is via the Device Switch Wizard:

Beyond that, if you are having trouble with only the Contacts, and are using one method, then perhaps trying another method might be useful. I think you are trying to use backup/restore, but then you also say "synchronized", which is a different function, so I'm really unclear as to what method you are using and what issues you are having. Nevertheless, here's another method you could attempt:

Help please! my ipod wont sync with my libary anymore..

Can anyone help? - my ipod is only picking up a few songs from my libary yet it worked fine before!
My libary has 1702 songs and seems fit and well but its only syncing 630 to the ipod. This has only happenned in the last few weeks - i have downloaded the new itunes today but still the smae problem.
I've tried to restore with no results (in fact there is now less songs than before!)
Am i doing something wrong?

Does it work if you manually manage your iPod's music?
To switch to that setting, click on your iPod in the Source List of iTunes, and go to the "Music" tab. Deselect the "Sync" option, and click on "Apply" in the bottom-right corner of this iTunes screen to save your settings.
Then, in iTunes, click on your iPod's "Music" section. Manually select all of the songs, and delete them off of your iPod. Then eject/disconnect the iPod from your computer.
Now, connect it back to the computer again, and try to manually transfer all of your iTunes library songs to your iPod (to do that, select all of the songs, and drag them to your iPod's name in the Source List of iTunes).
After the songs have loaded to your iPod, you can eject/disconnect it again, and see if all of the songs that you transferred appear on the iPod.

Help with SPA9000 contact list

Please help, I have been trying to confgure my SPA9000 to do something I thought would be easy....but so far it isn't.
I have 2 sets of phones (941/942s) extension 101,102,103,104 and another set 201,202,203,204
when a call comes in I want to call the 1st range (all the 10? phones) , then after 20seconds, call the second range (all the 20? phones) and after 30 seconds cfwd to voicemail
I did have huntrgoups set up llike this
600:name="All",100,101,102,103,105,109,hunt=al;30;1,cfwd=aa|500:name=Home,201,202,202,203,105,hunt=al;10;1,cfwd=600|
Then I set the contact list to be 500 ( the first hunt group)
.. but it doesnt work
does anybody know how this can be done ?

i'm not sure if it is possible to use cfwd to another hunt group ...also, i believe the delay that will be followed is the CFWD No Ans Delay under the Line in SPA9000 and not the delay in the Hunt Rule
what if you simplify your hunt rule first by putting a single extension on the cfwd just to check if it will forward to an extension? like 500:name=Home,201,202,202,203,105, cfwd=100

You can try putting it in DFU mode (google is your friend), but that's all we can suggest.

Need Help with hijacked contact lists

Hello all, I am new here, so please forgive me if I'm posting to the wrong board...didn't really see anything more appropriate. I have a problem with a hijacked contact list:
I have three email accounts being forwarded to my BB Curve 8530. Two from Yahoo and one from AOL. In each of these accounts (when accessed directly from yahoo.com or aol.com) have different contacts. Not all of these contacts are in my BB contact list. The other day, one of my yahoo accounts was somehow hacked, and resulted in one of those spam "drugs for sale" emails being sent to people in my contact list. Well, when I investigated, I discovered that actually, someone who is not even in that particular accounts contact list, but another account. How is this possible?
If that is confusing, here's a better summary (using fake email addresses):
[email protected] sent a bogus email message to [email protected]
but, [email protected] is not in [email protected]'s address book. it is in [email protected] [email protected] is not listed in my BB device's contact list.
The only thing I can think os is somehow the BB was hacked, and someone was able to go through all linked contact lists, and send an email across all connected accounts.
How was this able to happen? what can I do to stop it?

Sorry, not possible... UNLESS you gave your BlackBerry to someone to use for a while, during which time they spammed all your contacts. Did you?
Do you have a Security password set on the device? If you are afraid of the above happening, setting the password will just that impossible.
But it wasn't hacked.

Help! Same contact list, different phones

We have 3 phones. Myself, my husband and my daughters. We just recently went from me and my husband having Iphone 4's to iphone 5s. When we had the 4's we shared contacts and the calendar. We run a business and it just made sense to have it accessible whether we were on the phone, mac or ipad. Then when we upgraded, we gave our daughter my old iphone 4. Immediately all **** broke loose. We now have some, but not all of our contacts. We also have some of our daughter's contacts. For example, I had my husband saved as ICE with some info in the contact itself, like DOB. This contact is GONE. On both of our phones, in the recent calls the contacts are saved like my daughter's contact list so it says "DAD" not ICE.
I want to know how to make it so that either my daughter has her own contacts and my husband and I share (preferred)
or
One master contact list, but as we had it before we added her phone.
Any help would be great!

What's probably going on is that you are sharing the same iCloud account on all 3 phones, syncing Contacts with iCloud. When you do this, the contacts on all three are merged, and the merged list appears on all three phones (and any other devices sharing the same iCloud account). Then your daughter probably saw some of your husband's contacts on her phone and started deleting them. When you share an iCloud account, any contact added or deleted is added or deleted from all devices sharing the account.
To straighten this out, your daughter needs her own iCloud account with a separate Apple ID. (Note: she can still share the same ID for purchasing from the iTunes and App stores without creating any problems. The ID used for purchasing does not need to be the same as the ID used for other services such as iCloud.) To do this, on her phone go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The other devices still sharing the account will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on her phone using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account.
To untangle the merged data you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the unwanted data (such as deleting your contacts from your daughter's new account, and vice versa). These changes will be reflected on each device syncing with the account being changed.
Another thing to watch out for is that you should also be using a separate Apple ID for iMessage and FaceTime. If you don't you'll end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls on your devices. To change the ID for iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (Receive At in iOS 5), tap the ID listed, sign out, then sign back in using a separate ID. For FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

Help please - synchronizing contacts on all devices.

Let's start with this question, where is my master contact list, in other words, which device am I working from?
I would like to sync to my MacBook Pro, Air, 4s and iPad. Currently the contacts on all devices vary or so it seems. I recently lost contacts all together from my 4s, yet they are still on my notebooks and my iPad.
Can someone please walk me, step-by-step, through this process?
Obviously, when additional contacts are added, I would hope that they would stream to all devices.

I have not thoroughly examined her Outlook files on her business computer but will be doing that. She says she has a "business" pst and a "personal" pst file. Can both pst files from one computer be sync'd as long as the path to each is shown?

My 2 Iphone5 contact lists got sync automatically

Recently I bought 2 iphones one for me and the other for my wife. I was an iphone4 user, so I restored everything from my iphone4 to iphone5 via itunes. At the same time, I also restored my iphone4 information to my wife iphone5. Then I renamed her iphone5 in a different name. She then deleted her contact list in her iphone5, but everything she did was synced on my iphone5 automatically. Simply, my iphone5 contact list was deleted.
How can I maintain 2 different lists on 2 different iphones?

Set up different iCloud accounts with different IDs on each phone to keep you contacts and other iCloud data separate. Continue to share the same ID on both phones for iTunes and App stores (it does not need to be the same ID as the one used for iCloud.)

My all contacts lost but now i remember i backup on ovi sync. after that i logged to ovi.com site . i m happy to saw all contacts are safe on ovi site . Now big problem is that i m trying to restore to phone always shows this msg " Your device is partially configured. Please complete the configuration by synchronizing the device or remove it to add another "
Main thing is that my phone already configured with sync settings. Plz give any solution . If ovi.com add option in the site to direct download backup to PC then it will be resolve.

- Sign in to contactsui.ovi.com and open link to manage your device. Then select restore your device and confirm (if not already done).
- On phone side open Menu / Applications / Ovi sync / Synchronise (or Menu / Applications / Tools / Ovi sync / Synchronise)
Did it start to sync now? If not remove device from Ovi.com. Then open phone Menu / Apps / Ovi Sync / Options / Unsubscribe Ovi sync and start over with Ovi Sync wizard (Menu / Applications / Ovi sync / Synchronise)
Alternative option is to send sync settings via SMS to phone by adding new device on Ovi.com / Manage your device. Follow step by step instructions on web. After receiving sms on phone, open it with code given on web and save sync settings (open sms message / options / save). Then on phone open Menu / Applications / Ovi sync / Synchronise.

TS1702 contact list wont open up

ill go to open up contact list and its just freezes and has to be shut down and restarted

If you haven't already done so, try reseting your phone: hold the on/off and home buttons until your see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release.

I need help printing my contact list. I used to be able to do it, but now I can't.

I can no longer print out my contact list. Is there a way to go it? I used to get all my my conatcts info...name, address, telephone..etc...

Somebody PLEASE HELP!! As you can see my videos will not sync. Some of my songs also do not sync. This has happened ever since i updated to ios5.1. I have rebooted and lots all of my existing videos and songs and restarted so many times. My ipod touch is 4th gen which i have had since september 2011 and it worked fine before then. HELP Please need contacts ASAP!!

I had two blackberry curves, one was my personal and the other one was from my job. I keep the one from my job sync with my desktop but would do backups for my personal phone in a file on the computer. My personal phone was stolen this weekend and I need to pull the contacts and place them on my work phone. However when I use the desk top manager it doesnt give me the option to switch pins (as it usually would do once I connect a one of the devices) My personal phone files are all saved as ipd but I cannot open. Please can anyone provide assistance as I don't have any family/friends information anymore until I can retrieve my last backup file from my personal phone. I tried opening the desktop manager and switch device wizard but it only recognizes my job phone device.

On your work phone, Open the Address Book and click Menu > Options and General Options. Do you see the choice there for Wireless Syncrozination? Disable that, and then return to connect to the USB and Desktop Manager.
Click on Restore > Advanced > and over the left hand pane you will see File > Open and navigate to the most recent backup IPD file, and proceed.
After it reads the file, scroll down on the left hand side to Address book data to where it is highlighted. Press the right facing arrow in the center of the screen to move that data to the device.

Help please - itunes library empty after sync with iPod

Please help if you can.
Plugged in iPod to charge, iTunes opened and said ipod associated with another library. I obviously took the wrong option as now all my music has gone, play lists, purchased music included. Music store still has correct account no though. Everything is on my ipod but nowhere else. If you know how I can get it back, I would be most grateful.

If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod, this is just a selection. Have a look at the web pages and documentation for these, they are generally quite straightforward.

Now the resulting linkedlist is the following:
AB => Null
what happened to the rest of the list?
Now we go on to your updated example, we result in the following list:
A => AB => Null
hmm do you see a pattern here? when inserting a new node we are disregarding any reference to the tail of the list.
Extending on that idea we have the following pseudo code
1. if node to be inserted
1.a new_node.next = list_tail
1.b current_node.next = new_node
A => B => C => D => E, where newnode=AA
AA => B => C => D => E //using 1.a
A => AA => B => C => D => E //using 1.b
