Skype account got hacked and i see unknown activit...
This morning I saw skype charge on credit card and I see unknown activity. somebody is calling using my account. I changed the password and still see the calling. I tried searching for the customer support phone number but was unable to do so. I even chatted with the customer representative but to no avail. I trusted your service and now I am stranded with some hacker using my account. There is no quick customer support and which is very frustrating.
My Account also got hacked and I too was charged $20. I too had seen some 200+ SMS sent to phone numbers in China. I think Skype servers are hacked and they are not informing users about it.
Can someone from Skype respond ? -
I need to contact live chat or something. I have the 2-step security on my Gmail account and they hacked into it and changed my other skype password, and I'm afraid they'll scam people, as I use skype for online gaming services.

Help, please! I've Been Hacked! Firewall & Admin permissions changed?

You guys have been great, and I tried to read as many threads as I could to solve the problem on my own, but I'm in way too over my head. Okay, I'm going to struggle through explaining this as best I can and just list the "highlights" of what has been going on. More details are below.
Several events occurred simultaneously, and I'm not sure which did what damage.
Scanned my machine with ClamXav. Trojan was found. I deleted the Trojan.
I downloaded a script (against my better judgement), opened it and my machine started working hard. Activity monitor was going crazy. Immediately shut down Airport. Looked at my Firewall, and EVERYTHING was open. I always keep Firewall on. Looked at logs (and saved a few). Good thing I did because for some reason, I now do not have permission to view sa or security logs. Awesome.
Here is a more detailed account of what happened. I know it's long, but I'm trying to answer any questions you guys might have.
Two nights ago, I scanned my machine using Clam. It was the first time I had run the scan, and it found a Trojan in the form of an mp3. I located the file in Finder so that I would know where it was located to delete it, clicked on info, and iTunes opened, which I had not planned on because I had only selected info. I immediately force quit iTunes and deleted the file. I was never prompted for my password, so *was the virus executed*? I have since run Clam several times, and there are no infected files.
Next thing: I downloaded a script which I'm 99% sure was malicious. I'm not a techie, and I know this was incredibly stupid given my lack of knowledge. After opening it, I saw that it was all in a different language (Portuguese, I think?), and immediately closed and deleted. Then my machine started running hard... I checked activity monitor, and things were going crazy. I immediately disconnected from Airport. I don't remember exactly what the numbers were, but there were a lot of page ins/page outs and data being read/written. (I don't even know what those mean exactly, but I check Activity Monitor fairly frequently to look at memory and see what programs are taking up space.) But I was also doing a scan with Clam and I had about 14 tabs open in Safari, so I'm not certain if the activity was correlated to the scan or to the script or to having so many things open and going at once.
I checked my firewall, and it was off. I hadn't looked at it in a few months, but I'm fairly certain I had it activated. Remote access, FTP, etc. - basically all sharing options were enabled. I disabled everything and started the Firewall. I looked at the logs (even though I don't really know how to read them) and saved several of them which I would be glad to post here. One I saved was the Secure Log - I tried to look at any new activity today, and I got the message "You do not have permission to read this log file". What's strange is that my Firewall has logs dated for preceding days and months... but the Firewall was not activated when I initially checked it.?? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
I created a Master Password (alphanumeric 17 characters) in File Vault, but I did not turn on Fire Vault... I'm not sure if this changed any settings and has to do with why I can't read certain log files.? To my knowledge, I'm still the admin.? How do I tell if that has been changed? I ran Disk Utility, and it changed a few permissions, fwiw, but I still don't have access to particular logs.
I have Little Snitch running, and it hasn't shown anything abnormal. I looked at my DNS, and it's the same as what it always has been. I'll be glad to post the logs I have, but I don't know what's pertinent and what isn't. Here's a Big Problem: I don't have my installation disk. I know I will probably be advised to wipe everything and reload, but the disk is 500+ miles away tucked in a storage facility. This is killing me. I've been reading everything I can on this forum (you guys are awesome, btw), and was going to try to muddle through this on my own, but I'm way over my head. How can I reinstall if I don't have the installation disks? Or maybe I'm being paranoid and someone didn't get in to my system? Any help would be appreciated.If this helps, this is my Firewall plist. The plist was created on the day and around the time of all this happening. If everything is enabled to be editable, does that mean that they could have rewritten the codes after I locked everything down?

Help please: can you just save a layer?
I have created a layer that I want to use in Fincal Cut. It is a rectangle that is colored yellow. When I save it and then reopen the file, it is my box with a white background like a blank page, but I don't want that - I just want the box. Is there anyway just to save the box and nothing else? I have Photoshop CS4 if that helps.
Thx!!!If you have Illustrator you might want to use Illustrator and just draw a rectangle fill it with the color and export it as .ai format and bring that file into FP.
After Effects would be good for this as well.
But if you must use Photoshop use the vector tools to create the rectangle and the Path Panel to fill it and export it as a .psd and then import that but firest make the document with a transparent background.

And here in Premiere Pro it is imported ( a layered psd allows you to import any or all of the layers from the file.
In this case only one layer is imported and placed on the time line on its own layer as well and adjust to be translucent but with a totally tsransparent background so you ca see the video.
Same should work in FP -
Help Please!! Just Want Text No Background
First, thanks for reading my plea for help. I'm 100% new to Photoshop CS I have ZERO experience. The Company I work for wants to create the company Logo in Photoshop. After, creating the logo we will import it into our Flash Website Source.
The Logo is just the first 2 letters of the Company Name. That's it. Sounds Simple. The name is Madison Park. The logo is a simple MP. That's it just MP.
The problem is that when I create the Text MP in photoshop it saves the Background with the Text. So, imagine MP with a Gray Background. I Don't want the Background I just want the letters MP. The goal is just have a jpeg or BMAP with the letters MP no background color.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. How do I create it without saving the background and what type of file should I save it as JPEG, BMAP?

I think I may have taken on a bit more than i can handle with this project.
I have been asked to create a "Picture in Picture" situation, What i am wanting is to have the background of the File Static with the food menu consistently rolling over coming from a .txt file so it is easy to change the wording and prices, while having adds (up to 50) running on the other half of the screen cutting in and out of Bloopers. I have seen in done once before and was told it was all done in flash, can anyone please help me out, even a tutorial would be great, I have tried the Variable text to no avail, does this need a starting code??

I was working in FCP5 last night on my iMac G5, when I noticed someone had just taken control of my mouse. They clicked out of FCP and into Firefox, then started looking at my favorites.
My setup was Airport turned on but not used, a wireless router not used for the iMac (used for a PC laptop we have), and a hardwired ethernet, which is how the iMac is connected to the Comcast modem.
Immediately I unplugged the wireless router and turned off Airport. I also have turned on FileVault for extra security. It was a pretty freaky experience, so I wondered if anyone else can help me with some added security for my iMac?
I guess a follow up question would be, how do I set up WEP encryption for my D-Link router?You say that they "clicked out of FCP and into Firefox, then started looking at [your] favorites"? You're saying that they were moving your mouse and performing user interface actions? That's not so much about wireless network access... that's about having access to control your screen (or at least appear to be controlling your screen).
Perhaps some screen sharing software is installed on your machine. You might have Apple Remote Access or Timbuktu or some other remote access / screen sharing software installed. And if you do, and if it's set up properly (to allow access from outside your network), then this same person can remotely control your machine regardless of whether your network is secure. (That's what this software is designed to allow.)
You could certainly turn on a firewall and thus block the ports being used by this remote control software but that would defeat the purpose of this software, assuming you installed it for expressly this purpose. You could also change the privileges or accounts that are part of this software. However, if you didn't install it.... perhaps someone you know who has physical access to your machine is playing a joke on you?
Or perhaps someone has paired a wireless mouse to your machine? Intentionally or not? (Another easy way to play a joke.)
By the way, FileVault is not going to do anything for you here. That encrypts your hard drive contents to prevent someone from reading the contents of files if they get access to the machine or hard drive. If they're logging into your machine somehow or if they're logging into remote screen sharing software after you've logged in, then, just like you, they have access to your files.
The advice to change your account info on your iMac makes sense, as does not enabling root access, but this still doesn't prevent you or someone else from using software installed on your machine that is specifically designed to let you log in remotely, like Timbuktu. Again, you can set up a firewall on your Mac or even better, on your router -- that Windows machine is even more vulnerable -- but I would want to find out what's installed on my machine and how what you saw happened.

I've just moved on from an iphone 5 to an iphone 6.
I'm now on my second attempt at restoring it through the icloud.
My photos and videos are unavailable and it keeps saying I'm low on storage. At this stage it just keeps saying it's updating but it's been saying that for 8 hours and I still don;t have any photos available....any advice appreciated. It's getting a little frustating

When trying to preview a composition in 3d (like you see when people are doing tutorial videos), whenever I click on the preview (whilst attempting to move the camera around in the scene to preview it), the preview stops (due to clicking the mouse button).
In other words, I cannot play back a preview and manipulate the camera at the same time. Again, in most tutorials I see online the "teacher" is manipulating the camera while also previewing the scene they are discussing. I can't do this as every time I click the mouse to manipulate the camera, the preview stops due to the mouse click.Hi Dave...

Your post made me double check what I was looking at, and I think I was wrong. I was watching a Trapcode Particular video tutorial and perhaps all of the 3D particles in the scene gave me vertigo! In any event, I think this case can be closed as quickly as it was opened.
