Help please quirk with a Giga Designs 7A-1800U 1.8GHz 7447A G4?

Hello
My Quicksilver 2001 has been running at 466MHz yet it has a Giga Designs 1.8GHz installed.
I got the processor used & can't seem to find any info about it online & the manufacturer seems to now be defunct.
Does anyone know where I can find the drivers for this & a manual to know how to calibrate the dip switches & jumpers?
Any & all advice &/or comments would be greatly appreciated please & thank you in advance.

Help please problem with export

When you've got the job out of the way reboot the Mac and try the export to desktop again. If it is still broken then in Disk Utility run Repair Permissions on the Mac and La Cie.

Ok, so i took my iphone 4s to the apple store and spoke to icloud support over the phone and neither of them could help me...all they did was tell me things ive already tried....i backed up my iphone to icloud and then restored it due to some glitchiness...however, it restored everything from my icloud backup except for my photos and its clearly something wrong with my icloud account but NO ONE can seem to fix my account...can someone please help , I'm so desperate....

Set the iTunes login and password and the e-mail addresses on the iPad iCloud setup to the same as the owner of the Family Sharing and iCloud account, which in this case is you.

do a back up and reinstall firmware without memory card in your phone. right after the update use code #2 from the list below.
1. *#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default ( you will not lose any data)
Make sure you back up your data as you will lose all of it when you perform option 2 or 3 on this list. The default code for ALL operations listed here is 12345
2. *#7370# - Reformat your phone (out of the box, tho keep in mind that most newer nokia phones at least n series, e series and s60 based phones have udp - user data preservation so not ALL data may be lost. still it is a good idea to always do a back up of your stuff.)
3. This you perform as a last resort. Nothing else is working.If the phone is not showing any activity, proceed with hard formatting , turn off your phone, hold the following buttons while pressing the power button. (the default code is 12345)
hard reset - hold the following buttons *, 3 (number button) and talk/green key. turn on the phone and do not release those buttons until you see the Nokia boot up screen. once you feel the phone power up you can let go off the power button while still holding all three buttons ( for Nokia 5800XM - use the following buttons to do a hard reset, GREEN/RED/CAMERA keys pressed all at once on power up. this will only work on 5800's that have firmware version 20... and up. ) For Nokia N97 (unofficial version but works) is SHIFT /SPACE BAR / BACKSPACE while holding the power button. Again do not let go until you see the handshake screen.
If these codes are not working the only thing for you to do is contact your Nokia Care Center/Service for assistance.

i was using AWM since 9i just because it creates OLAP metadata with a new API called CWM2, and Oracle Enterprise Manager was using a propietary API .
With AWM 10.1.0.4 building your OLAP metadata is very simple, you can define your Dimensions, cubes, measures and even you can load your data from your source system.
You can refer to the Oracle® OLAP Application Developer's Guide where you can find more information on this tool.
And relative to your error i will recommend that you build on a dimension-by-dimension basis and try to validate your OLAP Metadata.

nevermind, managed to sort it although i have now lost everything, never again will i have a sony phone, pile of junk is probably the nicest term i can think of for them, this happened with mine, and my partners was broken (somehow screen smashed without any assistance) within 2 weeks of having it. samsung all the way!

Help Please: working with HTML BLOBS and workflow attachments

simply put need to be able to:
1. create html document using plsql and store as BLOB in a table.
2. retrieve this BLOB and send as Document Attachment in workflow notification.
This sounds so simple to be able to do and yet I've spent the past week trying to find easy to understand documentation on how to do this.
The html i'm creating is too large for just the normal 32K (I believe) buffer for a regular (text) document attachment. If i limit the # of rows returned, I can use this method just fine. However, my assumption is that with the amount of data I need to return in the attachment is that the BLOB type is what i will need to be able to accomplish this.
I would be more than happy to e-mail anyone samples of the workflow and code I am currently using to attempt this.

I had done some work trying to see how Lotus Notes handles HTML content.. to my dismay, Lotus Notes does not even handle some of the basic HTML correctly.. leave alone the embedded OA Fwk content in the workflow e-mail notifications.

Sorry, I know next to nothing about wireless. I have an eMac and would like to connect to my housemate's wireless router so I can ditch the land line. I think it emits "G" or something like that (he has a PC). If I add an Airport Extreme card, will I be good to go?

Help please. with a.) flash and b.) what is it doing?

i have posted and reposted flash player. it is listed as installed in my programs, but when i get online and go to material that needs to use flash to play it says it is not installed, frequently a page for a 'biz coaching' will appear wanting me to download a player from them (very annoying). i have run scans for viruses and for malware and all have been clean. wtf? (don't judge, could be freak, or frack, or frick or frock or ....).

With regards to your .arw files:
You need to either purchase and install Lightroom 5.4 -- OR -- download and install and use the FREE Adobe DNG Converter version 8.4, did you actually launch and use the DNG Converter?
There should be no problem importing JPG files into Lightroom from your camera, what happens when you try? Is there an error message?

With a standard account you need a valid payment method even for free apps.
From the message it sound like there is something wrong with your account or some of the information you entered in the account is not correct.. Verify that the information is correct and then if still problem contact iTunes.

Leopard on 887 Mhz Quicksilver w/Giga Designs 2 GHz 7447A?

Has anyone out there successfully installed Leopard on an 887 Mhz G4 Quicksilver with a Giga Designs 2 GHz 7447A CPU upgrade?
As an experiment I tried using a Leopard CPU Drop-in DVD from an Intel iMac (duped to a USB flash drive, because the G4 doesn't have a DVD player). The G4 booted off the flash drive and installation to an empty partition proceeded uneventfully (Tiger was already installed on another partition). But, when I tried booting up off the new OS I got the pinwheel for awhile and then an empty blue screen.
Does that mean Leopard isn't ever going work, or just that the Drop-in DVD is machine specific or is different from a full install disk in some other crippling way?
Yes, yes, I know I'm trying to violate the EULA here, but I want to establish that Leopard is going to work on this machine before I go blow $130 on a retail copy of Leopard.

The Drop-in DVD is not grey. It looks similar to the retail version, and, so far, seems to be identical to the retail version, except that it checks to see if Tiger is present on the target machine.
The license included on the disk looks like a retail version license (nothing about machine specificity or tying the software to a particular machine, although I only skimmed it quickly) and seems to imply that if I stop using Leopard on the original iMac, that I can use it on another machine. E.g, if I upgrade to Snow Leopard on the iMac. Although perhaps the Snow Leopard update license has something to say about that.
The kext you mentioned is from Giga Designs and was present on the Tiger partition. I loaded it by booting from the flash drive installer, opening terminal and running:
kextload /Volumes/MyTigerHD/System/Library/Extensions/Giga-Meter.kext

Before loading the kext, System Profiler reported the CPU as PowerPC 60? After, the CPU was reported as PowerPC 604. The clock speed was correctly reported as 2 GHz before and after, which is kind of weird.
The instructions referred to above didn't work after this point, but simply continuing with the installer after closing Terminal and System Profiler worked for me, and I was able to boot from the Leopard partition after the install completed.
The installer put a copy of the kext in /Volumes/MyLeopardHD/System/Library/Extensions/Giga-Meter.kext
My assumption is that my first install didn't work because the installer was confused about what kind of CPU was present, even though the clock speed was reported correctly. Strange that the install proceeded though. Maybe simply copying the kext from the Tiger partition to the non-booting Leopard partition would have worked.
Going back to the original CPU was my first plan (the stock CPU meets Leopard's requirements) until I found out what reattaching the heat sink to the CPU involved. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary.

Troubleshooting: Help please. Creating a PDF file from a Photoshop-designed project

I wanted to add personal design elements to my resume so I decided to use Photoshop to add in a logo and a footer. The problem is, when I converted the 3 Photoshop .psd files (3 pages) to .pdf files, the combined file came out to be very big in size. The biggest was 2.88 MB and the smallest that I got it to be without compromising the quality of the text and images was 1.48 MB.
What did I do wrong?
I've seen other .pdf files with more images and more color and definitely more pages and text which were only 300KB in size. How can I make my final .pdf file size small but still retain the quality of the original design from Photoshop?
I've tried merging the layers before saving. I've tried turning the files into .gif files before making the pdf. Into jpegs before making the pdf. Changing the canvas and image sizes in Photoshop into super small which made the final pdf file unreadable and super blurry. I'm at my wit's end.
Details:
.psd image size 8.5 by 11 inches (normal resume size)
colors - black, gray, light blue and light yellow
Images are very minimal, 4 lines total and around 5 circles at the header of the first page and footer of the 3rd page.

This is so sad. I read your comments and I said, "Huh?" Haha!
I tried the indexed color option and it did make the final file smaller. Around 600KB. But there's probably another way to make it even smaller like the gazillion-paged pdf file that I mentioned that was only about 300KB.
And by saying a layout program, does that mean like Adobe InDesign? Does that mean that I should just make my graphics in Photoshop and then import using another program and finish the file there?
What other layout programs can I use?

Reinstall MacFuse with the one from http://www.tuxera.com/mac/macfuse-core-10.5-2.1.9.dmg. If that doesn't work, you can use Paragon NTFS for Mac 9.0 which has been designed to work with Lion.
