Help please respond my iphone won't turn on

It's been charging all night last night and all day this morning and you know when it is in the process of turning on and the apple comes up, well every single time after the apple comes up it doesn't turn on normal, the apple just disappears and the entire screen goes black with just a loading circle in the center and it has been doing this for over 12 hours. I've tried to reboot it by holding down the circle button and the top button together and it turns of completely that way and then I turn it back on but it still goes to that black screen with the loading circle. Long story short, my phone won't turn on. Please respond if you know a way to fix this.

Here are steps to get DFU Mode: Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. (some turn off iPhone here, I do not) Hold both home and power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release power button, keep holding home button until iPhone recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually takes 10-20 seconds of holding the home button. If the iPhone screen is black (blank) the iPhone is in DFU Mode.

I try to reboot the phone w/by pressing the button on top and the button on the bottom of the face of the phone. The phone will go dark then come back w/just the apple logo... it goes no where else.

Known issue (better to say known quirk, not issue, however Apple should document it.) When you force boot the phone while it is loaded and running you corrupt some database and next boot will take a long time to rebuild this information. My 32GB 3Gs can take up to 7-8 minutes to boot as I have it full of music and I think it's rebuilding the music database during this long boot startup. The situation you are in now is that you have to wait for it to finish booting. The best way I have found if you phone is not stuck is to push top button until you get Red slider to turn off, slide it and allow phone to power off itself. Once off, Hold Top button and Home buttons, Keep holding them, you will see Apple logo pop up, KEEP HOLDING BUTTONS, do not release them until Apple logo goes away. If when you release both buttons the phone starts up and you see the Apple logo you have not held the buttons long enough as it sometimes will need to cycle down twice. When you have it right, when you release both buttons the screen will stay black and phone will not auto-power up. In this state the phone is fully off, not in standby. If you have previously powered the phone off gracefully with the top-button+swipe then hit top button for a couple of seconds and Apple logo should appear and phone should boot within a minute and be ready for use. If you cycled the phone without first gracefully shutting down, the bootup process can take much longer, give it at least 10 minutes before giving up. I have not found this documented by Apple anywhere, I found it from trial and error. My wife has 16GB 3Gs and while playing with both I found this out. Hope it helps you.

Hello to everyone this is my first post here and sadly its about a problem with my macbook pro.
The notebook in question is a 17'' Macbook Pro I bought in September 2008.
I simply closed it (without turning it off, just let it go on sleep) and took it with me as usual and when I tried turning it on again, it would not turn on.
I press the power button and I hear the hard drive/superdrive (not sure which of the two) start up and I see the sleep light turn on but after a few seconds its turns off again. If I hold the power button down for a few seconds the sleep light starts blinking and then the notebook turns off once more. In all cases the screen is black.
I tried everything here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1365 and tried removing and re-installing the RAM and nothing changed.
Short of trying to re-install the RAM again I have no idea what to do. I won't be able to visit a Genius until after the 5th so any ideas/suggestions?

In your case, though, jinnes, the slow blinks suggest that the computer is simply refusing to wake up from sleep.
One possible, though unusual, cause of this can be if you are using the computer with it stacked on top of a macbook. In this case the magnet in the macbook underneath activates the Hall effect switch in the MBP, making the latter think the lid is closed, and preventing wakeup. The same effect could be generated by proximity to other magnets.
It is also possible , if this is not your situation, that the hall effect switch in your MBP is actually defective. It may be worth trying simply opening and closing the lid a few times to see if you can get it to activate.

Your post is extremely vague and several months old but hopefully this info can help others seeking a solution. I too had a problem with my iPhone (3gs in my case) not coming back up.
What happened -- I was using it normally and it rebooted and was stuck on the apple for a long time and wouldn't ever get past it. So I tried to reboot it by pressing power + home but it would just reset and never power off, and get stuck every time.
What I did to fix it -- I actually had to just remove the SIM card then reboot the phone. After it came back up I put the SIM card back in. It froze up for a short time after that as the service reactivated. But then it is back to normal now finally. Whew!

I have the same mini display port adapter and Belkin DVI-HDMI cable (but a Panasonic 42" Plasma HDTV) so just set this up on it to see if I could duplicate your problem, unfortunately for you (but good for me) I can't.
I connected the adapter+HDMI cable before switching the HDTV on and then powered up the MBP. It (the HDTV) came up with my background right away (it's set at Mirror not extended Desktop) and when I run System Preferences/Displays get the following. Sorry but all I can confirm is that adapter+cable combination should work ...

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

IPhone won't turn on after trying to restore to beta version.

I was trying to restore my iPhone to the latest beta version and during the restore, an error occurred and my iPhone won't turn on, and iTunes does not recognize it anymore. Without the sleep/wake button, the only chance to turn it on is to connect it to the charger. You may have to wait for the battery to go completely dead. The only other choice would be to take the device to the Genius Bar for replacement.
