HELP PLEASE!! Trying to add game to ipod

I currently have 2 games on my ipod that I addded from another computer. I am now trying to add a game that I purchased tonight, when I go to sync it says that if I do it will remove other games. Is there anyway to add new games manually???

Essentially, you partition it (not necessary for what you want), make an image of the Installer and then restore the image to the external drive. You can then use that drive as the boot drive. That was for Leopard, so I don't know if it will work.

Can not add games to iPod touch 4g from ITunes (PC) it worked befour new update but why not now..

I can now transfer apps including games to my ipod from windows pc in Itunes. I click on ipod tab on the left hand side then click on the apps tab then tick the box at the top to sync and now i can drag and drop apps. No apps or music was lost, still all on my ipod touch, but it did mix my apps up so i had to sort them out. I don't know why it did not work, no setting where change, but the update might of change it.

You have a 2G iPod. That App requires at least a 3G iPod..
To more easily find compatible apps:
iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

ITunes freezes when trying to add music onto iPod touch

Newest iPod touch gen, newest iTunes updates. I plug in my iPod touch and go into iTunes, when i try to upload music to the ipod, it freezes up. I cant put any music on it. I tried re-installing itunes and i doesn't make a difference. My sister's ipod is doing the same thing, too.

I created the form (see attached)...but I can't figure out what these characters are for and how can I delete them. Look into the boxes and it shows t and e. I am so frustrated with this. You didn't delete the text field labels. Move the yellow bars on you text fields to the right and you will see the labels. You can delete the label or use the area for your labels instead of additional text boxes. Using the fields will give better alignment for you text

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

Error or freeze when trying to add music to ipod.

I have had my ipod for over 2 years and havent had Too much trouble with it. But, right now i can't add songs to my ipod. It started out a few days ago when i hooked my ipod up to the comp through my usb and it said it can't read the ipod and i must restore it to factory settings. So i did that and it would only add about 100 of my songs to my ipod. i keep trying but it wont add more that a few songs. sometimes i get an error that says "cant read ipod"
please help.

Some have been able to resolve it by removing podcasts and/or rebuilding their iTunes library.

Help please, system crash when connecting new iPod

I just got a new iPod Classic 160 GB. I connected it to my computer by the USB, and it said I needed the newest version of iTunes. I downloaded from iTunes the lastest 7.4.3.1 today. I first installed it and tried to use it without success. I then uninstalled all iPod and iTunes programs, updated and ran Spybot, and updated and ran Virusscan. My computer is now totally clean. I then re-installed iTunes, but I am having the same problem. When I plug my iPod into the computer, the screen goes temporarily black, and then I get a blue screen error code Stop: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF787D9B6, 0xF30BC6CC, 0xF30BC3C8).

Well, I forgot to de-authorize my machine when I was upgrading to Vista, and remembered only after I was done.
Now I have two computers authorized under my account (although they are the same machine).
Speaking of which, any idea how I ought to de-authorize the non-existant computer?
edit: the parent's not trying to reinstall windows, d'oh! but my question still stands.

HELP PLEASE: Trying to upload site to non .mac server

Hi there,
I am a complete newbie when it comes to uploading a site to a server.
I have completed the site I made in iWeb, have not included spaces in the title for each page. All the movies are in .mov or .mp4 format. all my pictures have been attached through iPhoto. I have published it to a folder on my desktop. I am trying to upload to my cousin's server which he created himself using Cyberduck. Unfortunetly he is away the the moment so I can not ask for his assitance. I have the password and user name to the server, & have tried uploading the site once before. nothing came up, apart from a blank page with a few folders that were orignally there before I uploaded the site. Cyberduck says the upload was successful, clearly it wasn't. All the files and folders are shown within the program.
Can anyone help me? I need to upload the site by today, thanks...

This usually means you failed to upload the index.html file. You must upload two items: the index.html file and the folder which has the same name as your site does inside the iWeb app.

Help Please! If I restore my Ipod will my Jan. Update apps. be gone?

I don't want the weather, maps, etc. new Apple apps. to be gone if I restore my Touch.
You see the artwork is not downloading on the touch. But it downloads to my other two Ipods.
I don't understand I'm thinking the Touch has to be restored.

if you bought the apps from the january update it will stay there even if you format your hardrive the information is backed up in apple store the serial number of your touch is in records so it will restore your touch with the software update

Getting an error message when trying to add book to iPod?

Almost every time I try to add a book to my iPod touch from my computer, I get an error message that says "Attempting to copy to disk failed. A duplicate file name was specified." And then another pop up comes up that says "Itunes could not copy because an unknown error occured (-48)."
This has only started happening since I updated iTunes on my computer about 2 weeks ago and it happens 4/5 books that I try to add. As soon as I drag the book onto my iPod on the left of the screen, it comes up. Any ideas on why this is and how I can fix it?

Help please , screen problem with my 2GB ipod nano

Hello guys
A month ago i had to change the battery for my ipod , after that eveything worked fine for awhile then the screen was half blank and half i can see the menu, so i thought its a problem with the screen to i odered another one , and when i installed it , the ipod turn on and the pc can recognize it , but there is noting come up on the screen , just the background light, but noting on the screen , not even the mac logo.
anyone know whats why this ?

Help! Trying to add artwork to my imported dvds but it's not working!

I have been steadily transferring my dvds to itunes for the last few weeks, and have not had a problem adding artwork until now. I always sort them into genre and add the artwork at the same time, but for some reason when I click okay it moves the movie to the right section but no artwork appears, and when I go to add it again the artwork button is disabled- it's there, but I can't click it. I don't know how else to add artwork to it so if anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated!

I am not sure I can help with the automatic artwork download as I haven't seen that problem before. The automatic download it is an imperfect system. It does make mistakes, particularly on older movies and CD's. The other way to get artwork is manually adding a picture to the info section for each movie.
1) Use a search engine to find a desireable picture of appropriate size. Usually typing in the movie/album name is enough to give you many proper choices.
2) Copy the picture from it's source.
3) Within iTunes, right-click on the movie/album with the missing artwork and select GET INFO.
4) The farthest right tab is labeled "artwork". Select it. Then paste your found picture into the box. Click OK.
Obviously this takes a little work, it is the only way aorund improper artwork and may serve as a temporary work-around for you.
*iTunes may think is has already downloaded the artwork, and thus won't let you do it again. Check the "artwork" tab under GET INFO to see if there is a picture there. Also check to see if the "clear albumn artwork" choice is available (right-click on movie). You could clear and try again.

HELP! Trying to add two different movements to edit

Lets say I have an effect I have done. Like, bringing a character in from the bottom of the screen. It takes me 20 or so frames to do it. I have marked key frames along the way so that the footage will follow the line I have laid out.
Now, how the heck do you stop it there so you can add another movement to the end of the piece?

See how the clown glides in from the bottom, stops, delivers his line and then leaves again.
I cannot figure out how to add the end effect.
I can animate him in, he stops, does his line but when I add the end effect, it somehow happens to the WHOLE clip.
Make sense?

Have your object off screen.
Create Keyframe
Go to the frame where you want the object to be on screen. (ie: frame 20)
Create Keyframe
Move object to it's desired position
Go to the frame that corresponds to the amount of time you want your object on screen. (ie: 170 if the object is to be onscreen for 5 secs)
Create Keyframe
Go to the frame where you want the object to be completely off screen. (ie: frame 190)
Create Keyframe.
So in the above example:
KF at frame 1 = object offscreen
animates on
KF at frame 20 = object onscreen
KF at frame 170 = object onscreen
animates off
KF at frame 190 = object offscreen

HELP PLEASE: How to change game centre ID to new iPad Air??

This is my first post so I hope I've put it in the right area?
My partner originally had the iPad I currently use, which is an iPad2.
He created a Game Centre profile and every game I have downloaded from the App store has gone under 'his' Game Centre Profile BUT using 'my' Apple ID & password.
I'm getting a new iPad Air today and want to transfer EVERYTHING to my OWN Game Centre profile and DO NOT want to risk losing all my games on the iPad 2!!
1. If I delete his Game Centre profile do I risk mucking up or losing my games on the iPad 2?
2. Can I merge the two Game Centre accounts?
3. What do I do?
I was told his Game Centre account was linked via iCloud so I deleted that, but still his Game Centre account keeps on popping up on the iPad 2.
I'd really appreciate anyone's help on this, who is far more experienced than I am because I really don't want to lose my games that I've been playing for a number of years
End result: I want ALL my games on the iPad 2 onto my new iPad Air under my own Game Centre account.
Any help would be appreciated.
