Make sure you're using the wireless key shown on the hub or a separate tab, not the admin password. But bear in mind that the wireless key can be changed; if you have a computer connected you can check it there.

    I have just bought a 2 year old car with a nokia MCC4 car kit, it does not fit my existing phone which is a 5210, can anyone please advise on which phone will fit the kit and whether I should or can upgrade the kit without ripping out the trim of my nice new Jag.I have tried a Nokia 1100 and this fits but this is a very basic phone and I am not sure if I can still get one.     OK your car kit is a cark-128 which is compatable with Nokia 3310 & 3330 phones. Your Nokia 5210 is not car kit compatable so you will have to either buy an old 3310 phone or upgrade your phone & kit to a full new system. You can still buy the nokia 1100 which is now 1101, but its not going to sit & work properly in your existing kit.
    Any profesional car kit installer will be able to take out you old kit & refit a new one without damaging you lovely new Jag.

  • Help please, total messup of phone

    Hello, i need help with my iphone 3g:
    It has the home button broken so i can't force shutdown.
    So, it also has problems to open apps, so i decided to restore it. while restoring it an error came up in itunes saying something like: error unknown 3002 or something like that only thing i'm sure is the error number. and the phone got stuck in the restore screen, the one with the apple and a bar down.
    So, the home button, broken, force shutdown, i cannot.
    Please help me.

    I tried to download YouMail from BB App world on my BB Curve 8330, it downloaded and I have a message on my phone that will not go away when I click on OK... the message reads: "
    The application YouMail has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by you IT policy" then there is an OK button... I have clicked on this and nothing happens, I have tried several battery pulls and still nothing.  Right now my phone is unable to be used. It is stuck. Over an hour trying to fix so I came here hoping for some help. Thanks.

    Did you not transfer them to your computer? and back them up?
    You only get one download.
    Unless you are in the U.S where Apple has released a Beta version of icloud.
    If not in the U.S., you could try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception.  they are under no obligation to allow.

    Welcome to the Discussions Boards!
    ride1992 is correct. You may have moved the Phone icon to another page of your home screen. Fortunately the Phone icon is not one that can be deleted - only moved. Information for editing or resetting your home screen is found in the pages ride1992 mentioned.

  • 9800 Help Please

    Hi there, I am first of all new to the site and hope to stick around and get more used to it. However I would like some help please; 
    I recently changed phones from a Blackberry Curve to this Torch 9800. 
    I had both on o2, with an o2 registered sim card. 
    When I put my sim card into the Torch, It does the usual register and even sends me an email confirming my phone has been registered with Blackberry. 
    It then comes up in the corner showing GPRS with full signal .. But when I try to make a phonecall or even a text , Both incoming and outgoing, It says NO SERVICE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. 
    I have tried battery reboots, I have tried an IMEI checker and the TORCH i have isn't registered as lost/stolen. The phone is 100% legal, Is there something I have done wrong, Or something I need to do?

    It should be as easy as you have done. But, if it's not working, the place to seek help is from O2...after all, it's their network with which your BB is having trouble communicating. Perhaps they need to do something in their system, and only they have access to that.

    ONLY the carrier to which it is locked can unlock it.  no one else.
    Contact that carrier and ask if they offer this service and if you qualify
    You should not leave your iphone information on a public forum.

    Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to  one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

    Do a reset by holding the power and home button until the apple logo appears ignoring the slide to power off (no data loss).

    Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
    Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with.

    If its stuck in recovery mode then you have to restore it. Hopefully you had a recent backup on Icloud or on your computer that you can apply after restoring it. If so then you shouldn't loose your data.
    Just connect it to Itunes and restore it. After it will promt you when your done to restore from backup or as new. If its on icloud unplug the phone and go through the intro screen till you get the same prompt. Sign into icloud and restore backup.

    Like ckuan said, Apple does not unlock iPhone; your carrier does, provided that the carrier offers this service.
    Unfortunately, SoftBank does not offer authorized unlocking of iPhone.
    Your best option is to sell this phone and buy another iPhone from the carrier of your choice or better buy a factory unlocked iPhone so you would be able to use it with any compatible GSM carrier around the world.

    This problem started last year when ios 8 was released. I think apple is trying to force users to buy music on iTunes store and that's why it's impossible to sync other music and also that's the reason why they haven't solved this serious problem. That's really disappoints me and i'm angry with apple because i have like 10 gb of music in mp3 and i can't sync music from iTunes to my iPhone.

    Things to try:
    Try resetting your phone (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears.  When you see the Apple logo let go of both buttons and your iPhone will reboot.
    Try a new sync cable (often the problem)
    Make sure you phone is adequately charged
    Make sure you are using latest version of iTunes
