Help please with ichat problem
Hey everyone. I posted this in another section of the forum but got no response so i figured i'd move it. I've got quite a problem here. My ichat was working fine. I was having some trouble with idvd not loading themes so i deleted everything tagged with ilife and idvd and then reinstalled. Well now idvd loads the themes but gets stuck right after that, imovie won't work at all, and i can't open ichat, which is my main concern. I tried deleting the preference files, repaired disk permissions...nothing. Here are the details when it quits.

In my experience, there are two reasons why it keeps prompting you to enter your password - either you're entering the wrong password or AIM is having difficulties on their end. Make sure you're entering the right password (no caps lock or anything) and if that doesn't work, just give it some time and try again. It usually resolves itself pretty quickly if it's a problem with AIM's servers.

Help please with sound problems with titles in iMovie HD/iDVD
I find on a DVD I am creating that certain titles produce brief, grating noises when once the DVD is burned.
I am unable to hear these noises in iMovie HD.
I have tried re-importing the video and doing all the captions again ~ but the result is always the same: these loud distortions of the audio, but only on a couple of the titles.
By the way, I have found that by setting the volume to 60% on the regular video and setting it to 140% on the clips with titles, I get a result on the burned DVD where the volume appears constant. I have never understood why putting on a title should diminish the volume: seems like a serious weakness in this software.
But right now, it's these unwanted noises that are spoiling my project.
Any answers?

I've just gone and read that reference.
No, I've tried extracting the audio and re-doing the title, but when I burn the DVD (and you know how long that takes) I find on playback I have these grating noises.
I suppose I should be grateful they are only brief and affect only a few of the many titles.

hey! i have a serious problem coming up which is that i am asked to enter my billing info even for free apps. why should i pay for apps which are free? please help me with this problem! and in the billing info there is pop-up box saying i have accessed my account from didfferent computer but no i have been doing it from the same pc. please help me out.
Tap Settings > General > International. Make sure the Region Format is correct.
As for your Apple ID. Tap Settings > Store > Apple ID > iForgot
Resetting your Apple ID may help.

I have a red vertical line on the right side of my screen and it will not go away tried restarting my computer and that didn't help at all, please help me with this problem it is kind of annoying
If it's a thin 1 pixel wide vertical line it's highly likely it could be caused by a defective LCD.
One quick basic way to check is to note the position of the line. Then go to System Preferences, Displays, and lower the resolution. If ther line moves it's on the video and the logic board or video card if fitted is likely to be defective. If the line stays in the same position it's likely to be an LCD fault. Either way to have it repaired you'll need to visit an Apple store or AASP.
The worst offender for this problem is the Late 2006 17" iMac. FOC replacement of the LCD used to be covered by a quality program, but it's now ended.

When I plug in my headphones into my imac only the right side plays music. I tried with other headphones and still has the same problem. I tried the headphones with other devices and they work properly. Can anyone help me with my problem please?

Need Help Please with Flash Professional - No Cursor Change on Buttons/Links in Mac OS
Hi Folks, I am relatively new to Flash Professional but I recently built a very nice flash website with very little problems. I noticed after I uploaded my site to my server, that my mouse cursor did not change from an arrow to a finger on any of my buttons. It did change on the hyperlinks, but not on the buttons. Everything still worked fine but there was no indication to the user that an object was in fact an interactive button. I found this code: button1.buttonMode = true; button1.useHandCursor = true; and inserted it for all my buttons and that seemed to fix everything, I tested the site on firefox, ie, and safari. I am using a PC with windows 7. When I went to check the website on a Mac powerbook, the cursor did not change on any of the buttons and it does not change on any of my hyperlinks either. I have searched all over trying to find a solution and have had no luck. Can anyone please help me with this problem or point me in the right direction? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much for replying! I did in fact let flash professional create the HTML page for the site and have not altered it at all. Would you have any other suggestions as to why it's not displaying my links/buttons on a Mac? I checked out the browsers Firefox, ie, and safari on my pc, but looking thru safari on the Mac, the cursor does not change on any of my links or buttons. Help Please With iPod Player On My 3GS
Hello, Could anyone help me with a problem with my iPod part of my iPhone 3GS. The iPod will start to play my desired Playlist, but during the playback, the track album covers forget the last played track and franticly search for it. The album covers can rotate for ever and eventually lock the phone up and steel the album cover images at random. I have to then re-sync with iTunes to get them back. My last 3G phone did the same thing and I had it replaced, but still the same with the new 3G. Now I have a new 3GS, so the problem must be in iTunes Folder. I have a lot of tracks & platlists so I don't want to rush to reformat iTunes. Any ideas please? Jeff

Hi, I have a bunch of logos in a file and want to animate with caurina, so I had create a timer to show ( fade in - fade out) the logos one by one;
I had previously fade all the logos with alpha =0; but don´t any idea about how to call it inside the caurina function. my logos all are called logo1, logo2,logo3 etc and I try it to create a variable to hold a number and them put the first part of the name(logo) + the variable to call the movieclip but it didn´t work.Please if someone could help me with this problem.

Can anyone help me with a problem i am having with my music on my iPhone 4S. I have put alot of Compilation CDs in my library on iTunes. I download these tracks onto my phone, everything is ok so far. Now, this is what is niggling me and I don.t know how to resolve it. This is my problem:
Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck.What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas

I have an iPhone 4s and it is now deactivated. the phone is asking for my apple account and password. but i have forgotten my password. i tried to reset it on iforgot.apple.com, and when i entered my apple id the next thing that appeared on screen is that i have to chose either email verification or security questions. then i click the security question then it asked about my birthday. there where only asking the month and day. then i entered my birthday which is March 8.
so can somebody help me with this problem?

Help please with FaceTime. My built in app seems to have disappeared.
If K Penguin's suggestion doesnt work, you will have to go to you iTunes and do a reset, that is if you do not have it in your back up library.
