HELP - Plug in crashes and shuts down browser

I get a problem which results in the browser which is running the plug in (and the plugin itself) close down suddenly. No error. No warning, they just vanish.
I am using IE5 and JRE1.3 for the plug in.
The code when it occurs is
KeyPairGenerator keygen = KeyPairGenerator.getInstance(algorithm);
Trying to get an instance of the RSA key generator.
Anyone had something similar happen to them?

Did you ever figure out whet was doing this to the browser?

Hi mterry1723, one solution that might be worth trying is this:
- Close iTunes, if it's open
- Open Safari and got to 'Preferences'
- Select 'Security' on the top
- Untick all the security options in the menu
- Click the 'Show Cookies' button and look for all the 'apple' entries in the left-hand column.
- Highlight them (select them collectively) and press 'Remove'
- Now open iTunes and buy the song as usual.
- You may be asked to do the same security process as before, so do as asked.
- Hopefully, the security check will now have accepted your answers and start downloading the song as normal.
Remember to re-tick all the required security options you had just un-ticked in Safari preferences. You don't need to bother about opening the cookies again.
I hope this has worked for you and my profoundest apologies if it has not. Worth a go, though!

The website may need more memory than you have available if you are running iOS 5.1.1 on the original iPad. Try some basic troubleshooting steps. Maybe quitting all apps might be the best thing to try.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit ALL apps completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Mail Crashes and shuts down whenever downloading e-mail - Please Help!

Hallo, I´ve got a serious Problem / Bug:
Whenever I want to receive mails, Mail app crashes and quits.
I am using Leopard 10.5.1
I am able to compose and send mail, but not receive any.

I´ve had indeed a smart mailbox referring to a smart adressbook group. And I´ve had a rule referring to a smart group. But after deleting them, the problem persists! The only thing that has changed, is that mail now seems to crash a couple of seconds later. That means, now the crash occurs after downloading about 4 e-mails. Before that the crash regularly occured while downloading the first e-mail. Well its a small improvement, but a crash is a crash.
I really need help on this! Maybe there is an apple engineer, who can figure this out! Thank you much!

OSX Yosemite lightroom crashes and shuts down computer

I have lightroom 5 on both a 2012 MacBook Pro laptop and very new iMac. Since upgrading to Yosemite, each of my laptop and iMac have crashed now when using Lightroom. When I say crash, both computers have both suddenly shut down and restarted. I've never had either computer crash like this before. On each occasion, I was not doing anything in particular in Lightroom, just browsing through photos in the catalog (thought I admit it is a very large catalog of around 30,000 images. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or know what might be causing it?

Don't do things not asked for.... Disk Utility does not have anything to do with this and cannot help.
Now Lightroom does not contain any image files just links to where you/Lightroom has had the OS copy or move them too. iPhoto buries them as I mentioned but Lightroom doesn't as you know. They are in your Pictures folder.
I asked if they are all just in the Pictures Folder or in another folder inside of Pictures???

See somewhere the OS has changed the read/write permissions of a folder that Lightroom is using. We need to track down which one.
This is done by selecting a folder and using cmd-i and checking the Permissions like this:
The bit at the bottom is what we are looking at.
Now are you files inside Pictures or inside another folder??

Help. illustrator still freeze and shuts down. cs5, cs6

when i useing illustrator cs5 and cs6 suddenly shuts down or freeze.
i tried remove and intall many times and changed computer. but still has problem.
i can not see any error boxes. so event viewer is clear.
OS : windows 7 pro 64 bit
Memory : 8 Gb
VGM : GeForce GT 310

What files are you working on? Using any third-party plug-ins? Using specific fonts? Programs don't just crash at random, least of all on different systems. There must be some specific cause.

I have Photoshop CS5. It Keeps crashing and shutting down my computer, a MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8.

Photoshop CS5 shuts down my computer whenever I use the marquis tools or eraser, or copy and drag something.

I just disabled open GL and went back to work on the thing that has been behind the latest crash - and it did not crash this time. So, I am guardedly hopeful, but might be back. Regardless, thank you for your advice.

Photoshop CS4 crashes and shuts down without warning.

I have installed the new CS4 upgrade, and I have disabled the GPU. I have just upgraded to 2MB of RAM. However, PSD CS4 will suddenly shut down without warning at unpredictable times - yesterday it happened when I zoomed in past 200% - today it happened when I hit Save For Web. Really annoying. Any ideas?

Hi have been using the classic for 4 years, of late whenever i load more than 4000 songs the ipod crashes and shuts down. till 3800 songs there seems to be no problem. do ipods have a finite life?

the classic ipod has crashed 4 times in the last 2 months. till i load 3800 to 3900 songs there seems to be no problem. but after that it just crashes and instructs me to restore to factory settings. just want to know if ipods have a finite life and need changing after this. i need urgent help at least if that is true i can save the trouble of loading songs every other week

Yep, iPod classic has life of about 2 years before the hardisk, starts to suffer from arthritis.

You can also look into getting the iPod hardisk replaced by SSD/Compact Flash, just google "iPod SSD replacement" or you can search in youtube, on how to do it yourself, if you got steady hands and hawkeye.

Loaded up Firefox home on my ipod touch and whenever I go to open a book mark or a web page it crashes and shuts down.

I have loaded the firefox home on my ipod touch and sync'd it. Everything came over in the sync but when I open something, and then start scrolling down the page, it just shuts the program down.

You have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.
Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

HELP: torch keeps rebooting and shuts down

I've tried the application loader software on desktop and from the BB site and with and without the battery in and in all cases it does not recognize any software is loaded. All i get is that i have to add some software and I found online some forum that suggested to download any game and add it so it will stop it from rebooting. I can't figure out how to download a game with .ali or alx. Can anyone help as I have gone through all the help messages on here.

Make sure to remove your battery from the 9800 then do the following >
If you have desktop software downloaded you will need to go into your windows files on your computer.
Go to > program files (x86) > Common Files > Research In motion > App Loader > Loader.exe
Click on the loader.exe
Once it loads up click next then plug usb cable form your computer to the 9800 it will detect it.
Keep the battery out, once it finishes loading and it goes into reboot put the battery back in.
Viola like a brand new 9800.

IMovie 6 crashes and shuts down when deleting

I am trying to update some text in iMovie and when I click update it asks if I want to delete the transition. When I say, "OK," it quits the program. What is going on? Anybody know? Suggestions?

Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows:
Many possible origins. Most common:
• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disc if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
• Hard disc is untidy: Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disc (Apple Disc Util tool)
• Delete iMovie pref file - or rather start a new user/account - log into this and re-try
• Third party plug-ins that doesn't work OK
• Program miss-match: iMovie 6.0.3 or 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4 - is OK
