Help Plz--I get an error message when I try and open iTunes

My PC crashed and I had to reboot to factory start ups. Luckily, it kept all my files including my iTunes library. The problem is that everytime I try to open iTunes I get a message saying iTunes had encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried reinstalling the iTunes software but it still says the samething. Does anyone know how to help?

I removed iTunes and downloaded the new version but I'm still getting the same message. Do you think it's a problem with quicktime? The only other thing I can see is that I had some Japanese music and the Kanji has been changed to little squares in my library. Could one of those be the problem?

Thank you for clarify I'm supposed to read the ENTIRE article. I thought I was just supposed to read the title and magically everything will fix itself. I appreciate you taking the time to help me however I do not appreciate the caps and the way you have addressed the situation. And for the record my conclusions are not illogical, the iOS7 thing is on the website in small font (which I got by reading the ENTIRE thing) and you should really find a new hobby because your socialization skills need some help! Hi , When I try and double click on itunes to open it. I get a error message that says "itunes has encountered a problem and will have to close we are sorry for the inconvience" and then there is a option at the bottom to send a error report. How do I fix this Please Help !

that's a known complication of a broken QuickTime. in this context, it usually means the installation configuration information of the QuickTime has been compromised.
here's what we'll try first.

You may want to make sure you're installing the right version of itunes. If you have a 64bit system, you will need to make sure to download and install the 64bit version of iTunes.

The Beta version of Facetime is a free test/trial version that Apple placed on some computers in the past. It has expired -- to get a working Facetime version back you must go to the App store and purchase "Facetime for Mac" which will cost you 99 cents.

You are seeing the message because the new AirPort Extreme has some specific System Requirements:

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later and AirPort Utility 1.3
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and AirPort Utility 6.3
AirPort Utility 5.6.1 in Snow Leopard may or may not work correctly with the new Extreme for all functions. As long as things are working OK for now, you can probably leave them "as is" and wait for another Mavericks update to fix some issues before you "upgrade".
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you could use that to administer any settings changes on the new Extreme.

But have you run the the iPhoto Library upgrader? It is installed in Applications > Utilities. Launch it and direct it to your iPhoto library.
Which version of iPhoto did you upgrade from?
The upgrader is only necessary, if you have been running iPhoto7.1.2 or earlier.

I just tried that and it partially fixed the problem, when I refresh a page it no longer takes me to Wikipedia! Also, I was able to open the link but I am getting the same message as previously when I try to open additional links on that page. This was helpful, thanks. Any other suggestions to why it continues to happen within the link that I was able to open? This other link is a PDF file..

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

If you're still getting the error message (especially when you plug in the Touch), I'd check for a device filter confusion on the PC. (They can affect the connection of USB devices to a PC, as well as burning and importing CDs.) For that one, see:
